    Thanks

...and not mad per se, just bothers me that I can't see half of the costumes on the last two pages b/c people are so icy.

Keep up the good work guys.
  2. I really enjoy participating in the CCs when I am able and when I can't, I enjoy checking out the crative costumes posted here.

Good job to the d!&@ that keeps tossing Ice Shields during the CC.

  4. It is good to see all of you that actually flush out your characters with some thought and design. I hate to say it, but I have so many toons spread across a few servers, I just pick powersets I want to try (usually that may possibly play well with the current PvP mechanics as well as in PvE), draft up a quick backstory for bio purposes and commence to leveling.

The OP has put forth a pretty complex construction epecially when you consider the antivillain and antihero values of the "alignment" spectrum. I mean I wouldn't consider the Wolverine/Punisher archetypes to be either disgusting or glamorous and they're able to murder villains on a regular basis (albeit for the higher good). It really can be difficult categorizing villains into set parameters unless you have a very specific concept in mind.

Yeah, felt it here in NJ and supposedly many experienced it from NC to Mass.

Thanks for sharing and to CPT, who even knows if that will make the cut...we can only hope so. It seems that this show is based on the graphic novel, but theyre not going page for page obviously.

This is what I found online about season 2:

The second season is scheduled to premiere on October 16, 2011 and will feature 13 episodes. At a 2011 Paley Center for Media panel, it was announced that the second season will feature Grimes' group of survivors leaving Atlanta for the countryside, including the Greene family farm, a setting in the comic book series. Filming of season 2 began in June 2011 in the greater Atlanta area.

I'm sure there are a few ATs that run tips quicker than others and relatively easy. I currently blaze through them with my farming Brute (+0/x2), using the Concealment Pool...I stealth to where I need to go. Some clobbering and then I'm in and out.

    Touche.
I actually went to a parochial HS that focused on university preparation and was taught by a group of semi-funny/slightly eccentric/decently interesting/overly motivated Jesuits. It was mostly a blast (please no priest jokes lol); I was just always better with languages, literature etc.
I realize now that I don't miss not getting Calculus etc since the extent of mathematics in my world is figuring out the 20% tip as I leave Applebees.

Like I said, was just a joke and I don't take anything away from those that love Algebra based Batman logos. If this is really something you enjoy, please submit an equation of The Venture Bros' logo for me

BTW, Kudos to the teach. Nice work.
No need to be offended good sir!
I was strictly kidding since I'm a comic book fan, sci-fi fan, vid game fan, D&D fan etc...
I'm just a DUMB geek since I never excelled in Calculus, Algebra and all that higher level jazz.

Spoonfeeding is bad, m'kay?

    1) Spirit alpha, reactive interface, ageless destiny, and ion judgement.

    2) Arctic was only good for about...1 week. During the time when reactive would go off like crazy, but now its back to mu.

*lols at people running the cyborg map, its just so ****** hehe* bosses dont even give full xp last time i took a look...
    Thanks a lot man.
  13. I have been following the thread on and off concerning the best things to do on my SS/Fire and I have two questions.

1)What do the pros recommend for the different Incarnate abilities at this point? I just started going after them on a new farm toon since I restarted on a different server.

    2) Mu or Arctic Mastery? I saw that Snowstorm was suggested by some at one point.

Thanks in advance and keep on smashing.

    Question

Thanks a lot Mr L; I appreciate the input.

    Question

In a SG that does friendly arena action and a buddy just farmed up a Sonic/Cold Corr that plays pretty well. What ATs do well against the debuffs and hard hitting sonic attacks? Someone told me to go melee, but I've always been a ranged AT type. Any suggestions would be helpful and thanks in advance.
  16. [QUOTE=DarkCurrent;3729132]I'm launching an official protest of the I21 powerset proliferation.[QUOTE]

I totally agree with the protest...I'm with you! On the count of three, we are going to uninstall CoX form our systems until Doms get some new hotness.
    1...
    2...

Wait, can I have your stuff first before we do this?
  17. Thanks all, I really appreciate the input. The comments here are basically what I've found in the forums while searching, but wanted to make sure before starting a new toon (running out of slots again lol).

Good to see you also Super, wasn't sure if you were still playing or not. I've been on Virtue doing up the PvE scene, giving Freedom & PvP a break.
PS - have a Brute using /SS and a scrapper using Fire/ so was looking at a different secondary

    Thanks again all
  18. I haven't taken a Tank above lv20 at this point but interested now in building one to help my SG during higher level Strike Forces. After looking at the forums, I am considering an Invuln/Ice, but wanted to get some more insight before heading to the character creator.
    Thanks in advance.

Thank you to Myr and Goldberg for running their teams. Thanks also for Goldberg's team sticking around and helping to take down all 3 Babbages. And as always, it was great to see MB back hanging out as we were setting up. I hope you are reading this my friend. I better see your butt in game some when CoF launches later this year!

    My team was:

    Luna de Lumiere: PB
    Doc Sol: Emp/Rad Defender
    Cold Satisfaction: Ice/Dark Corr
    Double Tap Girl: DP/MM Blaster
    Angeliscar: Invuln/KM Tank
    King Sac: Energy/Energy Blaster
    Sa-lt: Stone/Stone Tank
    Pep-per: Dark/Dark Defender

We finished in 2:02:38 with 10 deaths. It seemed to me like there was more deaths than that, but whatever. We had horrible defeat all maps. Very bad random rolls on those guys! So we ended up stealthing the missions we could to make up for the amount of time we spent slogging through the defeat all's.

If I'm not mistaken, next week will be Sister Psyche. Then we get a week off for the fourth (Gotta watch fireworks with my niece... it's one of the highlights of the year). Then we'll be starting some flashback stories that people have requested.

Thanks for joining everyone, and see you next time!
Sorry i backed out due to last minute work deal and thanks for understanding Luna. Hope to catch you guys for another run soon.
  20. BackFire,

I had to cut out after an hour or so but had a great time running with you guys; excellent idea.
  21. Hey Luna,

Id like to participate, but not sure what to bring yet. If you can save me a spot, I will figure it out today and get back to you.

    @njcash
  22. Great theme for next Tues and hope you're feeling better.

You just prioritize certain attacks once the initial strike is made by the team. And if you're in a group, odds are you're not running even con minions -- jolting chain's going to be incredibly useful just knocking things down, not around.

Agreed, seems like with a lot of powers...you just have to change roles to be effective.

It also seems like if you are on a fast moving/fast killing team, most secondary effects are rendered useless whether we're discussing Ice, Earth, Electric etc.

It's been awhile, but I thought that I have been of a few TF teams that had some type of Electric oriented troller/dom that basically sapped the AV til it was dead. Can't remember whos, the whats and wheres though.

Why Do this in Pocket D? So everyone and anyone can join, I know you don't need to go to the terminal anymore to sign up, but that's just for atmosphere and so we can all socialize with each other before the beat-downs. The idea is to have fun and make some new friends.

I'm planning the first one for Saturday, June 18th at 7PM EST, if we draw a big enough crowd, they may even go weekly. See you there!
Just getting back to Virtue and was wondering what happened to the zone PvP of yesteryear...assuming most have moved to greener/bloodier pastures on Freedom. Anyways, great idea and hope to see you there
