  1. Chat about PC animals...

Argue about wolves with swords in their mouths.

    Also, laser bees!

Quite a fallacious rebuttal. Just because suspension of disbelief has been achieved does not mean that suddenly anything goes. It doesn't work that way. Would Star Wars had been as popular if suddenly there was an army of clowns that showed up that shot bees out of their mouths for no reason at all?

Even if they were Jedi Laser Bees with little lightsabers and eye-lasers.

Hmm... how much of a Furry are you? I'm very curious all of the suddenly.

And the giant wolf also has eye-lasers. And so do all the bees.

Phah, don't mind them. If it's one thing we have in infinite supply on the CoH forums, it's hyperbole.
  6. A troll is someone who disagrees with your opinion? I mean, you do realize your opinions aren't actually indisputable facts, right?

    Just making sure!
  7. So, now we're talking about giant wolves with gunblades in their mouths?

I haven't the heart to tell her that this actually happened once in a Furry comic that was made in the mid 90's. Except it was vixens in hovertanks.

I don't care about your made up facts, LOL.

It's those letters, in that particular combination. I see what you did! Nooooooo...

I have enough experience with Furries to say that what you have said is not always necessarily so. It may be typical, but it isn't a requirement. Several Furries out there do depict themselves as "non-morphic", which means an animal body... but they can still talk and emote and whatever.

It'd probably be better to have some real Furries come in here and try to explain it. But if that happened, this thread would melt down into a flame war about it so intense that it would crash the servers forever, or something.

I'm sure it looks a lot better when performing on the set in full costume, and after lots of editing to dial all the swashbuckling action to eleven, lol.

(yeah, I'm not seeing it as a valid strategy in a real fight, sorry. Jumping the sword might save his life, meanwhile he inflicts no damage )
Well yeah, haha. I didn't mean for this to be any kind of practical example at all. That's just what I happened to find when I went searching! I'm pretty sure it'd be extremely difficult to teach a dog how to properly evade in a real fight!
  15. But as far as training dogs to look like they're deftly evading the swings of a human attacking them with a sword, this video is pretty cool!

What I get from those baby pictures is that he wants to play Diaper Man in the game.

Meanwhile, Sam wants to be Underdog. Which... actually, would be kinda cool really!
  17. Maybe we could have our own ersatz Zoo Crew. Portal Corporation has discovered a dimension populated by anthropomorphic animals. There, they find The Furry Phalanx. Aaand... you already know where this is going.

LOL, that's an interesting strategy you have. Making stuff up and then blaming the other person for making it up with they call you on it. But it's really making you look foolish.

That's 'Player Controlled Animals'. Of course they're intelligent enough if they're going to be speaking with contacts, going into missions, disarming bombs, using computers and being as perceptive as a player can be with their regular type characters.
So if they're that intelligent, why then would a wolf not be able to use paw mounted metal claws if he or she wanted to? Just because?

Your jocular attempts at pedantic banter have become tiresome. You ought to have realized by now that we're talking about animals that would be intelligent enough to know what weapons are, how to properly use them and how to train themselves to use them as well as possible.
