It lists as 2 basic types in the Normal Aura List as Clunker and Victorian Decor
If you don't see these two then try buying (on your Beta account.) the Aura Unlock too, may be they have upped the auras to level 30 without the unlock.

What gets me is we can buy the store ones/claim the reward token ones instantaneously for global usage in the character creator, so why can't it also claim Incarnate Unlocked costume pieces in advance too?
(Except the level 50 Ascension Armor obviously.)
Oh and if you are a CoH/V Collector the Cape Unlock is bugged too, it doesn't unlock the Collectors Edition/Hero Kit Capes, only the level 20 mission or the Incarnate Astral Merit Cape Unlock do.
(I have been pushing for the collectors capes to be available from level 1 on all cape types, like they are on the Magic Pack High Collar Cape.) -
It's the game password you needed to change to something else and back, it also helps deleting your boards.cityofheroes.com cookie first too.
Feel free to pass this information around.
1. Delete your boards.cityofheroes.com cookie.
2. Go into your NCMaster account.
3. Select CoH.
4. Select Change Game Password.
5. Enter anything other than your existing game pass and ok it.
6. Select Change Game Password.
7. Re-enter your current game pass and ok it.
8. Go to the CoH Forums and login. (With "Remember Me" checked.)
If the forums keep logging you out after this then it is a CoH Serverside issue.
And a vbulletin known issue, as the following I PM'd the Community Team will attest.

Quote:Are you trying to login from a different subdomain to the domain listed in your sites settings ? If you are trying to login from http#//yourwebsite.com when your settings are set at http#//www.yoursite.com then you will get login problems.
Your cookie domain needs to be set to your domain to stop subdomains from doing this, Settings = Cookie and HTTP header setting = Cookie domain = change setting to .yourdomain.com
Another way to solve it would be to redirect your www. to your non www or visa versa.
NOTE: changing the cookie domain option mentioned above may have issues with your current members login or changing passwords as vB does NOT remove the old sub-domain specific cookies. There is a work around for that but it means editing files so since your site is only a week old it might be worth trying it and seeing if there is problems.
Quote:If you have already run the install/upgrade_402_salt.php script already then everyone in this thread should try this fix...
1) Reset the Cookie Path and Cookie Domain to the defaults. You should only change these if you have multiple vBulletin systems installed on the same domain.
2) Open your config.php file and change the cookie_prefix variable from 'bb' to 'vb'.
This should require everyone to log in again but the password hash will take into account the 30 digit salt as opposed to the 3 digit salt in previous versions. The 30 Digit Salt was introduced in vBulletin 3.8.5 and 4.0.2 PL3.
Quote:To recap, the problem that I and others in this thread have reported was that including or not including www in the forum address caused problems in logging in. For example, "http://www.mysite.com" allowed me to login correctly where "http://mysite.com" would not work. Setting the cookie domain to "mysite.com" solved the problem. Now logins from either address work correctly and the cookies are functional in allowing automatic logins from either address where before they would not. It should be noted that any old cookies that date prior to chaning the cookie domain need to be deleted by users. Otherwise, the login problems will continue. -

Not only that but at least a couple of quarter/semifinalists are missing.
Didn't one have something to do with a boat? -
Quote:A couple of points to make here...Thankfully they DID change any non-paid trial account to a random global @TRIAL XXXXX before the integration. I had checked several globals with my NA account and they had been changed afterwards.
NA accounts were unchanged, so checking with your NA account wouldn't of made any difference, just locked out more EU @Globals
I can't pull the post up ATM, but it was actually after the list merger that the Trials got renamed not during the list merger itself.
There was quite a big uproar about it on the EU side, but as usual NA players even those based in the EU with NA accounts wouldn't of noticed!
NA list + EU list (Copy w/rename) = Combined list
Combined list - Trial Accounts = Final list
Note the List Merger is first, or they would of had to do 2 trial account searches, which TBH would of been nicer for the EU players... -
Quote:Not forgetting the EU players are still forced to lose out on all the 12 month +2 subscription bonuses, best we get is 6+1, as the longest sub you can buy for an EU account is 6 months!City of Heroes was originally developed by American company Cryptic, and published by NC Soft's US branch (NC Soft is Korean, but has an international presence through affiliate companies in other countries). It was released to the EU market through NC Europe in February 2005.
Then, in september 2008, NC Europe, NC Interactive, NC Austin and ArenaNet were merged into NC West. Although never confirmed, it is likely that the Tabula Rasa spectacle was one of the reasons. The Brighton office was all but closed and the CoH EU operations moved to US.
Yes even with CoH:Freedom!!!
BTW did you know that ALL NA accounts took priority during the merger?
Yeah it included: Trials, Banned, Permabanned, etc.
N.B. I lost my ACTIVE EU @GLOBAL to an inactive NA ACCOUNT during the server list merge. -

Yes:
/Macro WW "auctionhouse"
/Macro "V R" "vault"
If you are redside you could instead of WW...
/Macro "B M" "auctionhouse"
Feel free to change the Macro button wording WW, "V R" and "B M" to your own choice.
Note that if you want to have a space in the Macro button's name it will need to be enclosed in "'s
These will obviously only work if you have claimed their specific rewards.
You can also keybind them as:
/Bind <key> "auctionhouse"
/Bind <key> "vault"
With <key> being whichever key you decide to bind them to, list available in the bind/macro threads or paragonwiki.com -

Quote:Well from what I recall, the Live Servers are actually run as Shards on A Server. Why is the only server that matters not online??!!
Youd think theyd fix the one with the most people therefor customers first.
Beta and Test have their own Server/Shard Setups, hence the 3 Clients required to access all three.
So when you say...
Quote:Why is the only server that matters not online??!!
Youd think theyd fix the one with the most people therefor customers first.
I believe they could of restarted your Live Server Shard sooner if they had purged/wiped all the character data associated with that Shard (More Players = More Data to load.), but I believe it would of been more players than yourself complaining then. -
Quote:Assume those are NA times, GMT/UTC -8Does this mean we can get all the incarnate stuff solo? Cause I've posted a NUMBER of youtube videos on 3 servers showing that from 12-1am to 5-6am like 16-18 people are on total and there's NEVER been a way to do this stuff. Hence why I don't play this anymore.
Add the 8 and give or take the Summer Hour difference, that would be the UK time, add another hour (9) for Central Europe
NA 12-1am 5-6am (PT/PDT)
=
UK 8-9am 1-2pm (GMT/BST)
=
EU 9-10am 2-3pm (CET/CEST) -
Quote:Um, yeah we are here, *looks around*I only ever see a few people in my level range. Literally right now 2 others as I try to level here.
Is everyone 50, or is there a time of day when people actually play here?
Some of us anyway...
Union (and Defiant) are the former EU Server(s) so you would have to take the time difference into account, plus at the moment there is fun to be had on the Beta Server and the weekly Coffee Chat was just Live on UStream.com -
In my experience of CoH the known laggy graphics combinations are:
FSAA + AO = Having both on and set high can drop your frame rate ~30%.
FSAA 8x ~15%
AO Quality set to Super High Quality ~15%
Try this:
/showfps 1
Tweak the above settings, checking your frame rate.
/showfps 0
And if your performance improves enough save the settings.
Other than this if it's slow powers etc check the netgraph. -
Mentioned in UStream chat, Avatea emailing whoever to get it fixed Nao!
-
Neo,
Gotta say it this is awesomesauce...
Keep up the good work. -
As well as the starting Kheldian contact have you not tried speaking to the new hero contact too?
Both have the (v) mission marker, and having just made a new PB to test this, yes they both give missions. -
Quote:Quick heads up, 11.8 is out and seems to be fine on 32 bit systems.Admittedly on Windows, but I don't know of anyone (and I've AMD as well) that had 11.6 running right. For me, it was constant "snagging" vs. full rubberbanding, and my cpu usage doubled while running CoH under those drivers.
(64 bit is still... Erm a little off.) -
VIP is locked but if you were one of the few betas who followed instructions and made a temporary non vip beta account too, you would of seen only Beta 01 lit, the VIP players should see Beta 01 and VIP Beta.
We are still on Beta 01 as VIP's the other server "VIP Beta" appears to be Visibility testing for the future VIP live Server. -
Am using an old XP PC and I could use 11.7 except for the gfx driver 10.12
(Sapphire Radion 4650 HD AGP)
Just updated to 11.8 and all is well, no more ATI2MTAG.SYS BSOD crashes from the graphics driver.
And get this the FSAA/AO bug goes and my framerate is up!
100% better than before so in my opinion 11.8 is a go.
Edit: Looks like the 64 bit driver still needs some work but appears 11.8 32 bit is working fine.
