I like the emotion in No. 2 -- it's very evocative.
He could be looking at a picture of Fyrecracker, and thinking "Wow, maybe she should be on the list!"
Shameless, I know, but your work is wonderful.
[/ QUOTE ]
Nice plug though Fyrecracker and a very excellent costume. -
I can't wait until you finally get around to tackling Rack, your talent seems to go from strength to strength with each new piece you produce. Well done, Graver.

That's true too!
I personally don't do a thing with my deviant account... but I'm nervous is all >.< Here I feel safe and comfy and supported... deviant is much bigger... <~_~>;
[/ QUOTE ]
Bigger but not too scary so far. -

The second one looks so sad.

I think I like that emotional aspect of the second pic. I wonder what he's looking at in his hand? -
[ QUOTE ]
Yeah it seems to do weird things at times.
We need a 'deviant artists' thread to collect our info.
[/ QUOTE ]
Good idea. Not just for 'deviant artists' but 'deviant lurkers' like myself. I've seen a few peeps from here over in deviantArt and added them to faves.
And the cool thing is I even found pencillers, inkers and colourer's from good old New Zealand and Australia. -

Comrade Hero for me. He makes wearing latex look good. I would make wearing latex look not so good.

What's the subject?
I wanna know!
[/ QUOTE ]
So would I. If you post a bit more about the character and what you want done, maybe someone can point you in the right direction of an artist that might match what you want. (cough cough TA, Katfood or Rowr) -
That's definitely going to be sweet when it's finished!

I sent the screenies to you in a PM is that ok?

Yep, that's fine.
Too tired to scroll up. Oekaki is a form of drawing using online tools (usually Java applets, ex: ShiiPainter, PaintBBS). The point is you're not allowed to touch pen to paper; it's all digital. A big part of it is using the same limited set of tools to produce pictures. But as with everything, some people come up with truly amazing pieces, and some don't. I'm only rated 1-star on oekakicentral.com, which is where I'm drawing these things. If you're interested, most of my pics are also animated so you can see how they're made... although there's no set URL they're located, you kind of have to scroll down by pic number. I'll put up how to find them if anyone's interested.
Anyways, updating OP post now. Whew.

Thanks for that explanation. Creating like that is either pure genius or sheer madness. Or is it both? -
[ QUOTE ]
well you did the job with excellence.

Full kudos to Sharby - he deserves all the credit.
I couldn't pencil/ink/colour to save myself. I used to draw and take art clasess in high school but an accident in the gym involving a 30kg dumbbell and a flirtatious young college woman left me with permanent partial paralysis in the left hand. Now I can't write or draw for more than five minutes without having to take a break

I like the attitude in the pose.

Thanks KF. The face and arms were tweaked to get the 'tude thing going on. -
Hehe.
I swear it was a micro-delay in posting. -

Don't forget to poke two eyeholes in that brown bag. Er, take the bag off first.
Nah, TA ain't scary. But TA pointing his big whacky stick in my direction is scary! -

I think it'd probably be a good idea for people to just back out of this thread before it explodes. If Lazzarus wants to start contributing art and being a part of the community, then the ball's in his court.
Let's see a few pieces of art and get some trades going.

Seconded. -
