Indeed, it's very nice.
Yeah, makes it look like she's been disturbed. Making a wish, perhaps?

You can use Hallmark, but I went to Mr. Greeting Card and used the Create Photo Card option.
Took a while to get used to the resizing tool for text and photos (it's a click and drag affair), but I had no problems uploading images and adding a custom message.
I added three photos and text on three sides (front, left and right).
The only drawback I could see was a limited range of fonts and you have to enter addresses to multiple recipients one at a time (although you can select from various countries - not just US or Canada based).
The creation and addressing process took about an hour (I'm a little slow on the uptake!) and the cost of printing, postage and shipping, and any relevant sales tax is calculated before you confirm payment.
Payment is via PayPal, which from a security point of view is a good thing, as you have 45 days to lodge a complaint if the product isn't delivered or some other problem occurs.
Price may be a factor for some, but considering I'm sending Cards to 25+ folks in the US and Canada from down here in New Zealand I saved a lot on the cost of postage and shipping alone. -
Took me a while, but created a personalized photo Christmas Card that will be printed up there in the Northern Hemisphere and sent out to you folks.
Bless the modern wonders of the interweb. -
Quote:Wow, that's pure awesome. LOVE the back ground and the poses.Quote:As mentioned before, the background might just be more sexy than the characters themselves =P That's gotta be the most elaborate background I've seen around here and it's not even done yet lol.
Quote:absolutely love that Sorah piece, as has been said the background is great, outlines very clearly the setting of the piece. One thing i was wondering about tho, although i love the view point, is there a reason the viewer is not quite the subject of their attention?
Ayup!
Hah!
Quote:I think it'd be harder to appreciate the truly gorgeous art if you had that gun pointed at you. -
Quote:Ayup this is the updated version of the pencils that Sorah did - more character and background detail, and adjusted the physical size between Blad Widow and Comrade HeroI love the Sorah piece... I believe I saw it a while back when looking at her page but it's good to see again
And I have to agree, the colors on the Rantz pieces are great. -
And speaking of works in progress. Sorah has been working on this for a long while...
She's in the process of inking.

Happy Birthday to You! Hope you have a great day!

Quote:Kudos to all those wonderful artists out there with the time, patience and willingness to accept commissions of fanart and original art.I am always amazed at the amount of new and great art work that pops up in this thread!
Some great new adds, keep up the great work!
A lot of the newer pieces are actually older pieces that have been inked and or colored - I'm only now just catching up on them -

Quote:Thanks for the list. Will get on that this weekGoogle is your friend. But I think they might be as strict as Australia. Which means: Don't even try it buster.
Australia and New Zealand have some of the strictest custom regulations in the world when it comes to the importation of food products, animal byproduct goods (like leather) and fauna and flora. If in doubt, don't send it.
You can end up facing the same fines and penalties for bringing in undeclared fruit and vegetables as you would cocaine and methamphetamine. -
Quote:Getting Adam to do Comrade Hero and Graviton Girl was good timing as he was raising funds for a Comic Con. And David continues to go from strength to strength with his coloringI'm digging both versions CH - the characters look downright lethal! I've had both those artists on Watch for some time...I might need to do something about it now.
I got that impression as well when I saw the first version of Comrade Hero and Graviton Girl - both heroes look lethal and determined. Not the type to trade witty barbs and insults with their opponents. -
David Delanty presents two different colored versions of Adam Withers lineart of Comrade Hero and Graviton Girl - the Bear and the Eagle

Or maybe she just started that battle...
Quote:If that's losing then I'm guessing winning wouldn't be allowed to be shown on the boards!Errr... yes.
Quote:I think in this scenario "winning" is just synonymous with being on top. Of course if PG was a vampire that'd definately be winning...
Quote:I think the look on his face and the "boob grabbing" hand claws is priceless... "....did not.... expect.... must resist... grabbing...!!"
Glomped, hugged and smooched. And I blame it on Super Speed. He never stood a chance... -
