As many people have helped me out with content that they already have all possible benefits from, I will make an extreme effort to be here on Saturday to help out with this, to fill it if nothing else. It has a low chance of not quite working out, depending on how insane my 3 year old decides to be at bedtime.
I'm pretty secure with knowing how to run Kral-Raiden in TPN, so it should be much better than that Master of Keyes run where I was running in circles half the time (but still somehow helped us get Avoids the Green Stuff and Loves A Challenge). -
You'll need to be a hero to run Maria Jenkins' missions to get Positron's Pal.
-
The Romanian judge grades you pretty harshly, Bud.
As do the rest of them. -
No one becomes an elite from desire to be an elite. It is only through focusing on not becoming an elite that you become one.
Or, basically, I'm already pushing the weight limit of the clubhouse, I don't need you coming up and making them kick me out for weight reasons. -
I agree with Zombie Man, June 5th for the reasons he states.

The closest I ever got to personally being involved in Champion drama was that time that Cobalt told me to dress up like a schoolgirl (he'll say he either doesn't remember that or that I'm taking something out of context and while I can't say whether the former is true, I can guarantee the latter is).
As such, I have to say that I never understood the divisiveness that occasionally creeps up, because I have to assume that most people are relatively immune to the winds of drama that drift through (except being told to dress like a schoolgirl). It adds a certain flavor from time to time and has never really seemed to affect anything really, so I just shut up, munch my Ashcraft Approved Popcorn, and continue to keep on keepin' on. Because I like to think we really are all Team Champion when it comes down to it, as big blue said.
And I'm glad I came back to it. -

I just checked, my sole Virtue character (who I haven't logged in for two years+ apparently) does have DJ Zero as a contact and can do the mission. I'm pretty available whenever, feel free to friend me, PM me, whatever.

TPN is not a very complicated one once you get the feel of it, Ulysses. Hopefully I'll be there as a filler for people who need the badge, I have all of them on my badger.
-
Pretty sure I will be there. I need all four badges, so any of them that we can get will be awesome. Kral-Raiden has Rebirth, so we have that going for us.
-
I actually earlier today managed Cadaver Counter in a manner similar to this. I felt a bit like the Badge Door To Door Salesman because I joined a group of newbies, told them I was interested in this partially due to the badge, and they asked me what the point of badges was. They didn't seem too sold on it at first, but they said they'd like me to lead the team and tell them what to do. When I went to pull Geist, they specifically were telling another member of the group to stop attacking non-Geist enemies and to listen to the team leader. Actually helping them get started in the game made me happier than the badge.

Almost every time we run TPN and MoM on Champion, and it happens about once a night from my experience, it awards Fair and Balanced and A Perfect Storm. If you look at the Champion forum, Amygdala organizes (and does a fantastic job of) badge runs for mastery of the iTrials. There's only been one time that I've been on a run of Amygdala's and not received the badges we were looking for...an Underground Mastery where things broke down going for Preservation Specialist.
I'm sure if you're willing to transfer there you'd be more than welcome to join in mastery runs. I know this weekend it was Master of DD, one happens each weekend so keep an eye out for Keyes. -
Cross "Gotta Keep 'Em Separated" off Kral-Raiden's list. Thanks Amy et al!

As of now, Kral-Raiden needs:
BAF: Strong & Pretty, Gotta Keep Them Separated
Lambda: Everything but Synchronized (and I was all set to go on the Master of night until I had to take my son to the emergency room, it was nothing serious, but needed attention)
Keyes: Everything, but I have actually run it now. I'd like a little more experience on it before trying Master of, though.
UGT: Avatar Assassin, Preservation Specialist
MoM: Dreamkiller (I'm now at 12/16)
I have TPN and DD mastered.
I also need Midnight Dodger What Dodges At Midnight if we can consider that as kind of an honorary iTrial badge. -
Reflecting on it, especially after Amy totally called me out,
I've probably asked for it at bad times on the channels I'm on, and just tried to make the best out of a hastily assembled Help situation a few times too often.
But yeah, I've run DFB at least four times and each time gotten people who felt going for Corpse Counter was "dumb" andrefused to go along with it. -
The Devilfish badge text is a train wreck, but even as someone who notices typos, I can get past the fact that they exist and move on to actually playing the game. When you think of the sheer volume of text that they have to work with, I'm happy it's all close enough that I can figure it out. And a lot of it is actually written pretty well. Not easy to do when you consider all the different things NPC's can say and all the missions in the game, etc.

Hey all.
I took a hiatus from CoX around the time of Going Rogue for fiscal and technical reasons, and returned in late March when I got a new PC. So, obviously, I had a lot of badges to catch up on, especially since my main badger hadn't even touched the alignment system yet. I'm pleased to report that I've had resounding success and fought my way up to 1,218 badges (I was at 583 before).
But there's a couple that have been annoying me a bit that I haven't gotten...Corpse Counter and Brotherly Love. I've found that most reliable vets already have those badges and aren't particularly interested in running the content again. It's not hard to find a Death From Below or Drowning in Blood, but it is hard to make sure that everyone involved is willing to pull the Vazhilok boss or able to help take out two big mobs at once. I had no issue getting Sidereal Researcher or whatever the one for clearing Lost minions is, so I don't think there's an issue with having mastery badges on low level stuff, but I do think that the badges need to factor in what's appropriate for the general player base of that level.
I'm sure this has already been complained about elsewhere, ad nauseum, and really, in the end, I do think they're not ridiculous and I will get them, but I do think that the low level content mastery should be set up in a way that makes vets want to team with the new players to get them and not just run through it in big all-vet groups.
Thoughts? -
After last night's impromptu MoDD (thanks again, Amy!), I don't need it, but I'll try to get on with Kral-Raiden in case you need help.
-
No, the time slot is fine, random things have just cropped up most Saturdays. Dilemma Diabolique is definitely one that I want to hit.
-
I've run Minds of Mayhem a lot on Champion, it seems to be one of the more popular ones. Welcome to the server.
@Dark Epitaph
Also, Amy, if you're going to keep doing Master runs, I have hope that I'll be able to arrange to make your typical Saturday 8 pm slot more often in the future. Just been a little difficult for me lately, sometimes due to plans, sometimes due to things coming up. TPN is the only mastery I have, but I have at least one on all of them but Keyes and Dilemma Diabolique (which I haven't even successfully completed yet). -

It says 34-33...does that mean 34-43 or 24-33?
