    Rech IO's

    Pretty easy for -someone-, sure.

Anyone out there with an unslotted Soulbound Allegiance set?
  2. [ QUOTE ]
Any CoV player will tell you that the straightjacketed roles Heroes tend to fall into aren't exactly necessary in the game.

    [/ QUOTE ]^This.

Is exactly why I think the non-epic Hero ATs are lamesauce. I only got that Scrapper to 50 to unlock Warshades.

    Rech IO's

There's only one pet damage set that has rech enhancement in it, and it's the Soulbound Allegiance purple recipe. Rumor has it it improves pet power recharges.

Whats the point in continusly resummoning

[/ QUOTE ]To get them out of the walls? Geez, how often do your pets get stuck?

Or are you referring to the protector bots getting stuck on their own exploded seeker drones? I thought this thread was about mobs and pets getting stuck in the map, such as cave walls. The protector bot/seeker drone bug is a known one and is a bug with the power, not the maps. Until it's fixed, you could not give the protectors their second upgrade, and they should not get stuck anymore.

    Veat confront ?

    In-game detailed info says no.

By the way, wrong forum. Just so you know.

Actually I tend not to use people on Sals as a measure for anything. There're still people on there who insist that EVERYONE on the team should change their reputation to heroic/villainous (or whatever rep they is desired) before they start a TF.
Just to say that there's a lot of misinformation going around.

[/ QUOTE ]That's mostly for the odd case where the leader disconnects and it promotes someone with Relentless/Invincible as the new leader, from my experience.
  7. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they make it so TFs/SFs never scale below minimum team size anymore? Example, if you start a TF that requires 4 people to start, with 8 people, and 6 quit, it still scales for 4, not 2. No?
  8. Oh don't worry, once we get the much-anticipated Side Switching everyone can just play their Masterminds, Brutes, Doms, Corrs and Stalkers heroside anyway. Heck, VEATs can come too. Can just shut CoV down then.

(Gosh, what an unusually pessimistic post from me... But I'm moody for other reasons, so nyah.)
  9. Give the command a 30 minute to 2 hour delay between consecutive uses. Fixed.
  10. I wish they'd take into account challenge levels as well for these rewards, not only average time.

Lol @ Temple of the Waters being downgraded, and Villain Respecs giving less reward than Hero Respecs. And the LRSF versus the STF. Sigh.
  11. Indeed, Crabs have arm-based bullet, grenade, and energy powers already.

It only affects missions which are available in Ouroboros (mission arcs mainly), and is an unfortunate side effect of some code added to stop people teaming with members of the opposing faction when members of the opposing faction aren't in the co-op zone.

[/ QUOTE ]Fixed to remove the implication that people who prefer to play Villains aren't actually people.

  15. Well, I suppose opinions differ. Personally I'd still like a taunt in Dwarf Mire. But I have Hasten, so my Eclipse and Sunless Mire are up most of the time anyway, and I use Dwarf Mire more as a self-buffing spammable attack than an actual selfbuff.
Double Mire seems unnecessary these days because the Inherent works in forms, while the damage cap was not raised. However, I can understand how some may want to squeeze that damage bonus into a human form trick or two while Sunless Mire is down. Matter of playstyle?

Also, I somehow end up fighting mez-heavy enemies these days, so I don't get much of a temptation to drop Dwarf once I'm in it already, heh.

Since I'm addicted to the hilarious AoE damage output Mired Nova form has, I tend to only use Dwarf for tanking or against mez-heavy enemies. It's always a pain to try to get enemies to focus on me when Taunt has a target cap of only 5 and Mire doesn't do much for agro compared to the Blasters' fireballs. Blarg.

  17. There's more mobs in the game with burn patches besides just Scrapyarders, you know. I swear Longbow Flamethrowers spam them merrily as well (the Ignite power, no?), and you face those a lot.

So, basically, point of the thread is: giving people good advice ("get Stamina") makes you a jerk?
  19. SR tends to die more often to just plain bad rolls than actual DefDebuffs resulting in gimped defense numbers, what with having 95% DefDebuff resistance.

I dare say any defense powerset would be more fun than SR though, assuming both are softcapped, because SR is pretty much -only- defense (the joke resistance from passives at low HP doesn't count, really, and the +recharge doesn't help survivability much unless you have a spammable mez), while other powersets have other nice tricks up their sleeves, such as Shield Charge.

Sure, I'll throw a MAJOR hissy fit whenever I see a VEAT in my team without Tactical Training: Maneuvers. But if I'm leading, I won't kick them. I'll tell them they really really REALLY should get it the next time they level up and get to choose a new power.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I haven't got it. Level 20 so far and not even looked at it. Anyone that would kick me from a team for not having a power on my character that they think I should have is not someone I would team twice with. My character, my choice.

[/ QUOTE ]Of course, it's your choice, I even said so.
However, I do dare to claim it as an objective factual truth that it is also a bad choice. Same bucket as not taking Enervating Field, Fulcrum Shift, Fortitude, and so forth.

I have no right to tell you you're not allowed to skip powerset-defining (or, in the case of VEATs, archetype-defining) powers, but I will advise you to rectify this mistake. Depending on how you react - whether by stubbornly denying the team (and yourself) a constant 16% defense to all despite explanations on why it's one of the best powers in the game, or by explaining to me in a convincing manner why you don't find it useful (for both yourself and the other people teaming with you) - I'll either nod respectfully or just shut up and mentally label you as a moron, but you shouldn't really care about the latter in an MMORPG where everyone is anonymous, right? Right.

Of course, not taking Maneuvers revokes you of all rights to express annoyance if you faceplant.
  21. I'd see a Time-themed set as more of a buff/debuff set with a light emphasis on control, similar to Dark Miasma.
  22. I wish the black helicopter in Fort Darwin was useful for anything else besides the nonexistent chance that there'll be more than 50 players in Mercy at the same time.
  23. What actually happens anyway? And does it not happen all the time? I used to team a Trick Arrow user daily for a short while on my Thugs/Dark - he was unable to light his own slick so my Arsonist handled that for him, and the stacked burn patches were nice. But my pets never seemed to go bananas from the burning slick.
