I 'spose that would have to do with the method o' summonin'. And by that, where his summons come from. If he/she pulled'em from the depths o' someone's psyche, Mind Control might work. But then again, so could Illusion as, well, they're illusions in the mind o' the target. For me, it's more 'bout the mechanism.

I'm going to be leveling up a controller with a friend who's gonna be just starting the game. I already reserved the name for him (Mesocyclone), and I'm dead set on making storm summoning my secondary power pool. Here's the idea: Even though I don't roleplay any of my characters in any way, I still like to create them as though I would. Mesocyclone is a magic hero who summons nightmarish things. I figured mind control would be the easiest way to explain that, but with the customizable powers, I can pretty much go any route I want with that and explain it away.
That being said, what's everyone's recommendation for a primary power pool? I will mostly be playing him in a group of at least two, but there may be times when I will have to solo. I'm assuming my friend will be making a scrapper, but that's uncertain.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My Dark/Dark/Dark Defender, Cobalt Abyssean, hit 50 recently as well. My first support character that wasn't dedicated to debuffin' HP.

All in all, Champion is, by far, the friendliest server I've been on. In just about any MMORPG I've played.

Doin' nearly daily Hami Raids is what burned all the raiders out in the first place, years ago. It also played a part in havin' difficulty in cultivatin' a new interest in raidin' with the revamp to the Hami Encounter. It literally boiled down to that no one wanted to do it anymore because it had been done so much.
Perhaps the mindset has changed to wantin' to capitalize on the number o' merits someone can earn in a day that some people would be willin' to do this, but it's only a matter o' time before the merits get reduced if they're bein' accomplished so quickly.

Edit: Swapped Combat Jumping in place with Executioner's Shot, and fixed the non-max level IOs.
