  1. This is just weird, but npc citizens are afraid of my enforcer. They'll ignore me and my first-teir punks, but once the enforcer comes around they react. Most of the Rogue Isles population just turns around and goes the other way, but some (esp. the construction guys carrying stuff) will do the "cower and then run away screaming" reaction.

I also noticed that other Thug MM's enforcers' leadership buffs will stack with the ones from mine (ie I am teamed with another thug MM who has an enforcer out, my thug minions will end up with two leadership buff icons of each type). I am not entirely sure if this is intended. If it is, cool.
  2. I only managed to catch Brawler and Miss Lib, but only for a few moments. Brawler turned his dev-invincibility on and led us into a Longbow ambush, then footstomped and broke the mapserver!

I got to beat up on and smacktalk Agent Simpson though.
"Way to fight crime, breaking international treaties, jerks!"
    "Spandex is for [censored]!"
"Longbow are nothing but cowards and hypocrites!"
"Go back to Paragon, the Rogue Islands doesn't want you!"
    etc.

I was trying to taunt one of the big targets to come visit so I could beat on 'em.

  4. The biggest issue with SR is that you almost *have* to min/max it in order to be effective. You have to know what to take and slot, and how, and when. It's very easy to mess it up and the set is very unforgiving.

The second biggest issue is too much investment for too little return. Taking seven powers and investing 30 slots should give me better than 60-something percent defense. With all of that I shouldn't have to dip into pool powers to keep up.
  5. I remember when Telekenesis gave one of your teammates flight. Man that messed me up...stupid jokester MC teammate!
  6. The only time it bothers me is if we're on teamspeak. It's confusing sometimes to connect a male voice to a female avatar or vice versa. That and the pronoun issue.
  7. X) If you have a problem with a teammate, wait until between battles to argue with them. You'll do worse if everyone is busy typing rather than fighting.

    X) Insulation field and steamy mist can make the Hollows a cakewalk.
  8. Is the Cavern of Trancendence Trial badge not working? I completed it earlier today with my level 20 scrapper (hey, they invited me..I had nothing better to do) and far as I know noone on the team got a badge. The team level spread went from 15 to 20. Maybe that affected it in some way? Unfortunately I didn't think to /bug it at the time..*doh*.

This was I think around 3pm EST on the Victory Server (character name Dealus) if it helps any...
  9. The new 'kneel' emote looks like the meditation stance used in Star Wars Galaxies (excepting that time that they somehow broke their animations, such a lovely game).

The bow-and-arrow thing only works if you have a weapon, or a weapon-summoning power like Stone Hammer. You pull the weapon out/summon it, then type ;bow. Or sometimes it works if you ;bow twice. My katana scrapper looks like he's stabbing himself when the first ;bow when he's got his sword in hand.
  10. Not really....I'm a former US marine AR/Devices blaster and my husband plays a tiny mutant block-of-ice tanker...
  11. [ QUOTE ]
To be clear, zerg usually means to mass attack.

Same reason as the other guy posted, but I've never heard of it as acting stupid. Usually it means sending TONS of enemies at someone, like the zerg attacks in Starcraft.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Actually I think both definitions are correct. ie:
"The freaking Vahz always zerg." Means that vahzilock always attack in large numbers.
"Don't just zerg, use some tactics." Is warning teammates to not just rush into a mission and blast everything in sight, but to go about it in an organized manner. This can sometimes be inferred to mean "don't act stupid", as rushing in and blasting everything can be a pretty stupid course of action sometimes.

Also, Purps also mean enemies that are way above your level, also referred to sometimes as "Grape(s)".
"Aaah, this mission is full of grapes!" (The mission is full of enemies many levels higher than me)
"They're all purp to me" (Every mob in question is several levels higher than me)

Something I use that probobly confuses people is say 'I r (blank)" Instead of "I am", usually when I've done something stupid or am acting like a nutcase for whatever reason. It's done in mockery of people who speak in l33t and netspeak (ur for you're, u for you, etc.). Examples: "I r smrt" (I am smart) for when I autorun into a pack of reds.

And Tsoo are ninja-like enemies that you start to see in Steel Canyon. Damn ninjas...
  12. Welcome to Paragon! A little note about supergroups:

    [ QUOTE ]
And lastly, the manual says that when you join a supergroup, you immediately adopt their colors.

    [/ QUOTE ]

That's incorrect...you can switch between your supergroup colors and character colors at will. A supergroup may require its members to be "in uniform" at all times, but you don't lose your character colors.
