Depends on how much you play, how much you chat and what your tolerances are for that kind of thing. It really is a silly, stupid little bug. I'm not a coder by any means, and I have no real idea, specifically, of what's involved in fixing it, but how hard or time-intensive could it possibly be to fix?

I beg your indulgence as I delve further into a complaint I've had for years about the gaming industry in general. The service that is provided by the vast majority of developers and publishers is abysmal. If I were to go to Denny's and they got my order wrong, I'd signal the server, explain the problem and she'd take it back to the kitchent to either fix the order or redo it entirely, and it would be done without any kind of fuss (assuming it was both a legitimate complaint on my part and that I was polite and respectful about it).

Is it really too much to ask of gaming companies in general for, at the very least, service that I would expect at a damn Denny's?

You can respec out of Patrons. It was introduced in Issue 14 IIRC.

Staff/Pole arm would be cool, but I think we need something away from conventional weapons. Psi Melee, Radiation Melee, or somethgin totally of the wall like sonic melee?

Who knows but I don't want to play another weapon set (incoming personal opinion) and I feel non-weapon sets feel more super heroey.

That same ELA brute can obtain ~30% melee defense with the use of a few powers and set bonuses. So 30% melee defense on top of their resistances is purdy tough.

But I do agree, that def bonuses far out number resistance bonuses.

You should give /SR a go for brutes. It's pretty sick. I think it's a little different the the scrapper version. Evasion contains the taunt aura and I think Quickness comes later for brutes.

I'm rocking a Fire/SR brute who is doing very naughty things. It's not hard to softcap a brute with set bonuses. With or without weave, depending on your budget.

Ya know, I'm kinda tired about bickering about EM. I really didn't read most of what you typed since we have been over this before.

Basically, you dislike EM after the changes and I think the set is ok.

If I were to make any changes, I might start by looking at WH. Perhaps an increase in stun percentage and/or damage would be in order. Then I'd move to Total Focus and see about making it a Thunderstrike clone, but a little less AoE and a bit more ST.

I think that would round out the set a little more and make it more attractive for teams.

How would you adjust EM?

My name is Clouded, well not really. I've been playing this game for 3 years and have played all ATs. My first 50 was a brute and I have sinced leveled 2 others to 50, 1 to 48 and many others in their 30s. I like brutes. I know what they are capable of and what they can and cannot withstand.

I've played Masterminds as well and can make side by side comparisons between the two ATs.

I play both similar in the fact I dive head first into the mob. With the MM, I'm keeping my pets alive and dropping my debuffs or buffs. With my brute, I'm punching stuff until it's dust.

Do you seem where I'm going? I don't hold aggro on either AT because CoV plays a bit differently then CoH, in my opinion. CoV ATs are much more self-reliant and can manager any aggro much better then their blue side counterparts.

So neither AT meets your definition of tanking and they shouldn't. Either one CAN TANK if neccesary but that's not the same thing.
