No, I did not suggest that either. I feel like a broken record. The past 3-4 weeks has brought multiple occurences of extended and/or unexpected downtime. It's not about today only (IMO).

Again, it's not about 'deserves' either but about providing good customer service.

I don't quite understand why people are arguing with PS providing some sort of bone for all the extraneous downtime? I'm not talking $ either.

I never suggested they did. How about you not jump into a conversation that isn't directed to you? Or perhaps you read the previous posts instead of taking this one out of context?

My main has been level 50 since 2006. I have never exemped down to anything lower than 45 since Issue 9. I never exemp on my 50s because I build them for 45-50 content. It's ok if you disagree, but your intolerance is 'asinine.'

I said you assume those powers were taken in order. Again, read better. You also listed a lot more powers than Rage, LR and LF bub. We were using a level 50 character as an example. Lots of people I know, myself included, respec their character at 47 for their final build. This will include taking powers earlier or later depending on their preference.

It's amazing how aggressive people get when you dislike a certain aspect of this game. It's really weird.

If you pay a monthly subscription, then it 'happened' to you. We pay for access to the servers, if those servers are not available, then you cannot play.

You seem to be missing the point. Hiding behind a EULA, in this instance, is legal but it's not good customer service. Of course, this is my opinion. You might very well disagree.

Saying "Look, the EULA says we can shut down the servers whenever we want." Is a poor business practice.

No one is suggesting they should not have a EULA. Just don't use it has a way to not provide better than average customer service.

It's not just today mind you. Each week for the past 3-4 (IIRC) has brought with it extended and/or unexpected downtime.

Everyone gets compensated. Offer an additional double experience weekend.

I'm merely trying to point out that good customer service from companies comes when they don't HAVE to provide any compensation but CHOOSE to repay customers for the excessive interrupts in service.

Again, I'm not advocating monetary compensation. Something like an extra day or two of double experience would be sufficient in my eyes.

'Worth using.' That is subjective. What you find 'worth using' and what someone else does might not be one in the same.

You also ignore that those which hate exemping (like me), mostly dislike it because those characters have been tooled to be most effective in the area of the game we prefer. In my case, post-50 content.

Irrelevant. What's important is that I've been playing with Footstomp, Energize, Powersink and Powersurge for 2+ years. Exemping down is a pain in the *** now. You are also assuming I took the majority of those powers in order.

You are far more assumptions going for your 'argument' than I do. Hmm.

Don't get it twisted. I don't think any compensation outside of an extra day or two double exp is necessary (due to ALL the extra downtime, not just today). I find the request for any $ or PPs to be a poor idea.

This poster states exemping down to 20 (25) is outright boring. Can't refute that since you are not this poster.

They then say the majority of powers worth using are beyond level 25. You seem to pick 3 powersets that prove your point and somehow invalidate his.

SS/ELa Brute: No Footstomp, No Energize, No Powersink and No Powersurge. That woudl SUCK for someone use to playing that character at 50.

Ice/Cold Corr: No Blizzard, No Sleet, no Heatloss and no Benumb.

That's just two examples. Remember, this does not include the loss of set bonuses or APP Powers.

Level 20 (25) is beyond lame when you've been playing the character at 50 for years. Especially when you've been actively engaged in post-50 content for the past year+.

Your opinion is not greater than anyone elses. So stop trying to belittle those that find the exemping stupid.
