Thanks Devs, another days work to mess with people and give them nothing. How about spending some time fixing invulnerabilitys unusable tier 9 or the stupid lag problem in the ITF???
Wow, is it possible to have this much ignorance?

    Listen up folks.

    1. We don't have any numbers on the set.
    2. It's possible the enemies hit were lower than the player which can make KD into KB.
    3. Brutes melee attacks are currently 7 FEET in range, which makes any melee set 'ranged-melee' whatever the **** that means.
    4. Perception makes the attacks seem longer than they are.
    5. Please re-read 1-4 until you get it.

Oh for the days when I had optimism about new sets...
All, well nearly all, melee attacks from Brutes have a 7 foot range. I highly doubt Kinetic Melee if any different.

Beer is for pansies and people who play Champions Online. I tend to stick with whiskeh with a chaser of motor oil. My life expectancy is 2 more years but I'm a badass mutha.

  4. HI Tony V,

Since you have some time on your hands; would you mind mowing my lawn today?

    Thanks!
  5. Ah, the ole 'post-it over the optical mouse eye' gag. One of my favorites. I had to save our last mouse from being thrown across the house after I pulled a similar prank on my lady.

    Good times.

    Me too.

I'm really interested in seeing the secondary effects. A part of me thinks the secondary effect from the attacks will be -damage, and I'm going to bet there is a Siphon Power-esque..err...power in the set rather then a straight-up Build-up power.

Sweet baybay jeebus, I hope I get to test this set.

    Kinetic Melee!

I posted this in the Brute thread about this powerset but it seems the same concerns appear in this thread. Most notably, animation times.

I think alot of people are noticing the execessive movements for each attack and perceive a long animation time. However, if you actually time them then you'll note the animation times are not overly lenghty and seem standard.

Honest question to the worry-worts in the thread.

Did anyone time these animations or are 'slow animations' comments based on the FX's seen?

Sometimes animations that have a lot of movement can cause people to perceive they are long animations when they are actually standard animation times.

And no. All Melee AT's should NOT share all powersets.
Yes, they SHOULD. Let their inherent's and gameplay mechanics define the AT, not the powersets. IF I want a INV/Claws Tank then I should be able to make one. I already have a Claws/INV Brute...what's the flipping difference?

    This is false.

Not every power set of the required ATs even gets one. This too suggests that the encounter is broken.
This is also false. I've seen every Tanker primary, except Shield (only because I haven't been on a STF with a shield tanker) Tank Lord Recluse. Why? Because we came prepared and took 10 minutes to make sure we had the best combination of support, etc for our team make-up.

    This is working as intended.

So, one AV in the ENTIRE game makes the Scrapper AT pause and use tactics rather then scrapperlock, and you call that broken?

I call it working as intended.

Having a challenging encounter for the end game is considered broken?
  17. It looks like they showed 3 moves, maybe 4. I would put money down that the Tier1 attack is quick, possibly the Teir 2 as well.
  18. I'd pay $.55 to prevent all caps for forum names. Wait, $.65.

  20. Doom Supremacy - Legions of Doom have been around since a few months after launch. www.doomheroes.com

Doom Syndicate - is the CoV couterpart and has been around since CoV if I remember correctly.

    Both are on Freedom.
  21. In my opinion, 32+ game is when my character starts coming alive. I'm finally able to start slotting some serious damage, acc, end red, etc in my powers. Not to mention I can slot level 35 IOs and not worry about upgrading for a loooooooong time.

If 32-50 is a grind for you then I'm sorry to hear that, since that means a large majority of this game is a grind to you. To me, the 1-22 levels are a grind and thankfully they are over very quickly.
