You obviously have an issue with this person. So why do you choose to comment on movies he has directed/you haven't seen. In most cases, people might deem you a troll. That is, you are only here to bad mouth Zack Snyder rather than discuss the topic at hand.

Quote:Hey, don't get all pedantic with me because you two are trying to rationalize grinding the same trial 10s, 20s, possibly 100s of times. I'm not going to even argue the sillyness. So, in a war you would attack a target ONE time, and then leave it alone after they rebuild it?
That makes even less sense than it being attacked repeatedly.
I don't need the grind rationalized anymore than..."Do this because you get the components the fastest. " -
Quote:Streeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetch.Naw, not really. Personally, I don't need a reason to repeat the trials and I suspect the vast majority of people won't either. But it's simply wrong to suggest that it makes no sense that more than one League would attack Lambda and BAF.
Lambda and BAF are high-value military targets. I would imagine they would be under attack almost constantly just as the Vanguard headquarters are. -
Quote:Streeeeeeeeeeeeeetch. The point if the Lambda trial is sabotage. There no reason whatsoever that you can't sabotage a facility multiple times. There's really no overarching story to the trial. It's blowing up Cole's stuff to make his invasion harder to accomplish.
Likewise, there's no reason they couldn't keep trying the same scheme over in the B.A.F. each time figuring that there's only so many Primal heroes to stop us and maybe we'll get lucky this time. -
I'm a bit dissappointed. I took a day off work (7 am - 10 pm) to catch up on life/chores/errands. Here, at 5:30 pm, I'm finally done and wanted to sit down, prop up my feet and geek away on some hero type pew pew.
However, the servers are down. -
So, you're saying he cannot experience the new content solo? Seems like he has a point then.

Quote:No offense and I'm looking at this objectively...but what proof do you have regarding your beginning and ending inf? It's pretty silly to claim Herostats is wrong without supporting the claim with factual evidence and not just your word.Started timer when entered the mission.
Same map with bosses start influ 174,715,361 end was 184,804,405 and this is without killing the last minion that had 15% health and no revives left. So that's 10,089,044 total from that map. 10,089,044 / 3.36 (time) gives me 3,002,691 a minute. but wait in the picture it shows 2.63 million a minute. Hero stats is wrong when it displays for current time, so my 2.63 is actauly over 3million. meaning i farm faster then you.

Thanks you two. And I feel kinda silly for asking for calculations since it was preeeeeeeeety straight forward. Dur.
By Friday my brain does not seem to work properly until I derag and run chkdsk over the weekend.
Thanks for the info!

Hi all.
Apparently I've missed a lot during my hiatus from CoH, and I only recently learned about this new mechanic called bruising (new to me). Which is a resistance debuff given to the Tier 1 attacks in the Tanker's secondary.
Now, correct me if I am wrong. The debuff is -20%, jes? It lasts for 10s, jes? Not stackable, jes? Did I miss anything?
Lastly, does anyone have any DPS or other calculations that show the benefit of this resistance debuff? If it matters I am currently playing a /DM tanker.
Thanks! -
What do you all think about Fire/SD/Fire scrappers?
I think mine does a very good job at farming mobs but I've never taken the time to measure my inf/min, etc. Perhaps I'll download herostats and give it a go. What maps/arcs should I using to test? -
The movie was terrible. Now I'm not an avid movie goer and went with my brother since he is home from college but at one point I got up and left to use the restroom...and I took my sweet time. I was in no rush to return to the theater.
Terrible. 1.5/5 -
Well, here is the build I've been working on. It caps def to S/L but E/N is at 42% (capped with 3 foes in range of invinc), 284% regen, DP is perma while hasten active (hasten has a 12s downtine) and endurance doesn't seem like it will be an issue at first glance.
Now, I realize this build is going to be expensive and time consuming but that's all part of the fun. Not to mention that I have a fair amount of these IOs stock piled already.

Quote:While I have your attention...That's essentially what my Inv/SS tank is. Defense cap with a nod towards recharge.
I'd suggest building, power and IO-choice-wise for */endurance rather than */recharge to offset the endurance burden. Things like Conserve Power and Physical Perfection will help enormously too.
Then drop a Spiritual in and go to town.
When slotting Invinc, do you go for the HO (or SHO) that provides +Def, +tohit and End Red (forget the name, enzyme perhaps)? Or do you focus on IO Sets? -
Hey all.
Working on my INV/DM Tank and I'm trying to decide which direction to take his build. The most popular route is of course soft capping his S/L and E/N defense with 1-2 critters in Invinc, but I was wondering if a +recharge build would be just as effective.
The plan with +recharge would be to get Dull Pain and Hasten as close to perma as possible without gimping the build. Running around at ~3400 HP seems very appealing.
I'm not asking anyone to post a build, but I would like some discussion about the two difference routes and which one people feel is more survivable for tanking.
What about a combo of +def and +rech? Would that be effective?
Thanks! -

Quote:There's one where a boss named Biff hightails it and you have to stop him. It is one of the most annoying missions unless you have some type of controls.LOL! I know you're ignoring me, but great post Sam. Running bosses do suck. I had forgotten about those as well. Isn't there a CoV mission where Crimson (an Elite Boss/AV) runs away from you? I seem to remember, logging off immediately after that mission in disgust.
-
From Positron's statement, we can infer that the money collected went right into development for VEATs. One could argue that would be an indirect method of paying for the VEATs.
-
I'd pick one up but only under the assumption that lifetime sub included all boosters from the past and the future. Why? Cause I'm tired of paying for boosters to get new costume pieces.

Quote:Well, the description says Sky Raiders for heroes but the villains have to contend with Circle of Thorns yet again. Devs still hate villains? Is it too early to predict that the Hero TF will take half the time but reward twice the merits of the villain one? And that the Villain one will involve more difficult encounters compared to the Hero one?
