Quote:whathasbeenseencannotbeunseen.jpgUnfortunately....Champions seems to enjoy the Liefield proportions and extends it to tails, but anyway, for a good set of variety (note I left the defalut blue-yellow colors on)
Wow.
Anyways - yeah, I was thinking that since they're doing this work on the tails that they might have a few new ones up their sleeve for us as well. I know the "we need more, thicker tails!" thing has bounced around these forums for as long as I've been here anyway.
I'm crossin' my fingers for more! -
Bah, this game has been dying from mumble mumble for ages. If the devs don't get off their lazy butts and mumble mumble soon then mumble mumble and dead by Christmas!
I've about had enough of this freakin' mumble mumble, I may just have to leave and go to that other Mumble Mumble Online Role Playing Game. -
You are suddenly my favorite poster on these forums. I'll warn you that may not last long, but right now? You have it.

Quote:I was once thinking about making an arc about players who cry "DOOOOOM!", but then I started seeing I was running out of arc slots (vs. the number of ideas I have for new arcs that is).Yes, thanks so much for starting these.
I will definitely leave mine up. As a result of this contest, I can say with some pride that I have Mission Architect arcs that deal with the most important themes of the game:- Jerk Hackers who have gone to the Americans;
- Lesbian Hellions;
- and now Kill Skuls.
Oh, uh, and yeah, thanks Doc A. -
Not as last second as I did.
I'm so tired right now I forgot to copy down all the info on it, but here's the basics:
A Wake For Dead 6
ID# 379160
Four missions
If I recall, it's solo (story works best that way prolly),
complex mechanics and
drama.
And don't let the scary orange text or the defeat all first mish scare you away - trust me on this.
Now if you'll excuse me, I must get some sleep. I've lost a couple of hours during the week working to finish it and lost about one today now, so...
zzzzzzz -
The program may seem ludicrous, but I'm sure their lawyers thought it a sound move.

It's also a good idea to bump your own thread with content instead of just a 4Chanian "bump!"
Made some changes? Let us know about them.
Gotten some really good reviews in your comment section? Cut'n'paste 'em here (I think you're supposed to redact the poster's names though).
Won an award? Lett us know that you... oh, ok, you did that one.
I hate bumping my own thread(s) but if you feel you have to (I've been there myself :P), then do it with something real. Make sense? -

Dang! And here I been knockin' myself out trying to fit my intricate plotline expressed as best I can with text-heavy dialogue mission intros, clues and so on!
And facing only about 3 hours of free time that I have left to finish it up and playtest it too. :/
I should have gone for another goofy idea arc and dumped this heavy drama idea a long time back...
"Cheesed it", heh heh! -
You could do worse than to take a shot at my arc Against The WickerWork Khan!, it's probably my best (see sig). I've been able to solo it with a 25th level stalker so it shouldn't be as hard as the orange text might make it sound.
-
Take one of your already-made arcs and toss in the line "Oh and by the way, I lost all my super powers too!" at the end of the contact's last speech to the player. =)

Quote:Oh sure, right, like I'm not sweating the deadline already... GEEZ THANKS PAL!Hello Architects!
I wanted to give you all a reminder that this Wednesday is the deadline for the second Architect challenge!
If you're participating, make sure to have your arc submitted before that date!
Good luck!
(j/k of course! I hope to have mine done by then...) -

Quote:That's not the fault of the AT but people who don't know any better. However, I won't give you rose-colored lenses. Stalkers still aren't highly sought after on teams.
That said, I've found that usually players will team with whoever is available. The call goes out "LFM" and the four players who reply get the slot, regardless of AT. I think I've only ever twice been told "I don't want a stalker", and that was back before the buffs.
Stalkers are still paying for their past weaknesses, when shall we be free?!

Quote:Allies can spawn with foes around them, sure. You can set an ally for various "roles" such as follow, fight defensively (only), aggressive (which is - fair warning! - something like having a spastic scrapper/brute on your team) and so on.Sorry if I didn't explain myself thoroughly enough before...basically, I was trying to get it to where you have a prisoner(in the context of the mission, he has been captured by the enemy) that, when rescued, will help you fight the rest of the level. I'll go play around with the Ally function later and see if I can get what I need.
Thanks for the help!
Just look around the options under the bar for his settings and whatnot and you'll find it. -
Quote:Far as I know and have read, there isn't one. The closest you could come would to be to have said object spawn a boss and have him spawn an ambush every time his health drops by the quarterly increments (3/4 health, 1/2 health, and so on).If someone could shed some light on this, it'd be greatly appreciated. I've got a defendable object that once destroyed by its attending party, I'd like to spawn a massive string of ambushes.
How do I make a massive ambush since I can only link to the defendable object destroyed trigger once?
At least I think that's doable - I haven't felt the need to try it yet. -

Well, this comes down to a real test of will for me. I have like three or four ideas for DP toons I want to start and a couple for Demon MMs. Yet for the last say two months I've been doing just about nothing but AE scripting. My time is limited in the game so it's not like I can leisurely do both.
So do I prepurchase and let my arcs slide or don't and buckle down??? -

Yay, I'm Number Six! (insert Village comment here)
But mainly, congrats to Tubbius! I've been meaning to get around to looking at his stuff and this just reinforces that. -
