Quote:I was really happy to see that part too. No matter what toon I'm on, I lovelovelove it when an invasion event starts around them and I'll drop anything I'm doing to go participate, no matter if they've already gotten the good stuff from it (badges, etc.). There's something about that mass chaos of 20 players going nuts in a group that's a heck of a lot of fun for me.Oh this looks sooooooo tasty the turnstile looks like it could fill my need for "I really fancy a good random wild ride" and my "Meh I just fancy a quiet night in" moods

Based on the info coming out, I am suddenly thinking about participating in the end game content! (And th-that's scaring me.
)
Seriously, great ideas in there guys, way to go! -
Amazingly, Tom Cruise didn't annoy me - this Bird guy must be good.

Mai feer an lohthing, you has it!

Quote:I mostly agree with this, except there's one thing to keep in mind: many players right now are running their 50s through the new end-game content, which - in a horrible oversight if you ask me - doesn't even slightly involve the MA system, not even one little bit; seriously, could it have hurt to try and slip it in there somewhere, maybe back behind the potted plants or something?I wish it was true, but I don't see it. My original estimate of 10 plays a month has dropped off. One of my 5 star page 3 arcs has seen a 1 play in about two weeks. The other is getting closer to 5 plays a month. At that rate I'm looking at closer to 12 years before HoF. Add to this that it's been OVER A YEAR since the last DC not tied into a contest means no arc slots for new arcs. It's been over six months since I was able to publish a new arc. As time passes and authors continue to be shut out, interest will continue to drop.

That's probably artificially keeping plays down right now. I'm sure once some of that end-game shininess wears off, we'll be back up to... one or two plays a month. :/ -
I'm particularly pleased about this new info. I have plans for a new MA arc that features a LOT of cats, including the larger variety, and this - assuming we can unlock it in the MA on that same release date - means I won't have to "make do" with some approximations.
Can I get a "meow brothers and sisters? CAN I GET A "MEOW"?! -
Anyone remember the cow invasion they ran on the test server way back when? Shame they never implemented it for live.
-
I laughed! For some reason running a toon through Mercy has always made me more likely to stop and beat up anyone I pass while traveling from one mish to another and the contact, which of course helps me level and the get the heck out of there sooner. Plus I hate the sound of people puking so taking them down is the best way to make them stop.

When I get a chance to log on tonight, I'm going right into the chalet and using /em holdtorch. I hear elves burn long and bright. :3

I have to admit that the more I keep seeing about this pack the more hyped up I'm getting (I was going to use the term "excited", but that might be taken the wrong way
). I just hope I don't end up expecting so much that when they lift those black-outs I look at what we're getting and go "Oh... ok. Nice, but just not quite as cool as I was thinking it would be."

My morning cup of coffee. That's the Incarnate object for anyone who works a night shift.

Sign me up for wanting a rodent head. One of my first 3 toons was (and still is) a Mercs/Traps MM named Rattus Rex and I've always wanted to be able to make him look more rat-like, not "vaguely rodent-y or maybe an otter or something". I've been thinking of dusting him off just for old times' sake, he's still only like 34th or something, and renewing his costume would be the bee's knees!
Say, are we getting bee's knees in this pack too? -
I rarely run heroes, so I think I can answer "no" here. Last one I did was in... hm, July or something? Before that I have no idea, earthly or otherwise.

The devs should go through the legal hoops to license a Rob Liefeld pack next!!!!1!!
-
Nothing, that I can think of, other than W+SPiDeR.
"Get it? 'Spider'! because... Arachnos!" said the dev who named it.
There's a "rule" about assigning radio radio call-signs that starts them with a W+three other letters, so they slapped that on the front of a near-spelling of the word spider (which you'll note is actually four letters). If I recall, W is used for any American station east of the Mississippi.
On an unrelated note, an arc I'm near completing has some tangential fun using WSPDR to write some five words sentences, such as "Writer Spreads Poison, Dear Reader!". -
Man, Hollywood needs to get on the ball, we're falling behind on our ridiculousness!

I'll toss out the arc I've done that's gotten the best response so far, "Against The WickerWork Khan!" #346904. It's a parallel dimension take on pre-existing game canon that's won a player award for custom design. And it's nice and short at only 3 missions.

Denver has had an unseasonably warm and dry winter this year so I welcome our new winter overlords, even though I slipped on the ice twice while coming home today.

I only have two fifties and I haven't deleted either of them yet. I might delete my first, a Kat/Regen scrapper. I enjoyed the ride like the dickens on the way up back in the day when I discovered how planning a build is a really good idea, but for some reason these days he seems boring to me. I do pull him out and run him through AE missions I'm writing as a tester though.
So few toons hold me to even 45 that I'll probably end up keeping him though. Altitis is an evil, evil thing. -
Quote:If I had had more time I would have been soloing SnapTooth with my troller, he's stupidly easy for him.got my brute from lvl 1 to 45. one more day and hopefully i can hit fifty. thank you Lady Winter!
As it is, I only got to add a couple of levels to my DP/Traps Corr (still stuck in Praetoria!) but I did get my Mace/Inv brute to 20. -

At least in this case the patient was just cold, not dead and buried and forgotten.

Hi all.
I got a concept for a Ninja/FF toon, so I think I may make one soon. I've heard that ninjas are squishie and therefore benefit from the shields, is it enough to make up for the squishie factor? I really know little about Ninjas... other than they flip out and kill people.
So far I've played a Mercs (decent but nothing to write home about), Bots a few times over (always something to write home about, "Dear Mom, you'd be proud of the way I wiped the floor with a huge group of CoT today!") and Zombies (just couldn't get into them).
Any thoughts on the pairing is welcome as I didn't see a guide for it.
