Huh. I know the character but didn't remember he wore a jacket like this.
His next costume slot will be a tux ("A Well-Dressed Tiger" was going to be his name originally), but I have no clue what comes after that. Time for the devs to give us the Hawaiian shirt option. -
If the teleporter's targeted and any pets were already given the "kill THIS guy" command, they'll do that; I saw my bots do that just the other day.
-
With so many toons and limited time, I can't be bothered to "just" badge hunt or keep trakc of accolades, I just try and find one that fits my toon's nature, like how my MM Rattus Rex has "Plague Carrier".

"I got turned down over at CO, but working for COH would be good enough, I suppose."

Quote:/e, Groucho...and has access to a six-year-old child. If said six-year-old child finds any holes in their plot, the plot will not be used until said holes are fixed.
"Why a six-year-old child could understand this report. Run out and find me a six-year-old child. I cant make head nor tail out of it." -
Quote:Seconded, MMs tend to have a roller-coaster ride in "awesome vs. gahhhh" in the levels below 32. Once you get there, they really shine for the rest of the ride. The two main drawbacks to Bots (/Traps really has no drawbacks
) are that they are rather slow until you get to level 32 since that's when you get your AoEs, and the fact that they tend to get torn to pieces on the new Incarnate TFs so you'll have to resummon a lot.
Except for the end-game stuff, or so I hear. -
I don't min/max as much as I might, but I usually end up taking it for the lower levels. If I ever get around to respec'ing them, I might drop it, depending on build.
So I dunno. -
I present to you a new Claws/Invuln brute, A BadlyDressed Tiger!!!
Battlecry: "Hey, I'm colorblind, alright?!"
I've already come up with easily 25 ideas for new animal-themed toons, most of which will never see the time of day because I already have too many. This guy might not even last, but the couple of levels I ust snagged for him were fun. -
I'd like to see it, but I'd imagine it's hard to plan for, all this bug fixing. I mean, by their very nature, bugs are an unintended consequence of something you don't know.
The devs could sit down and say "today we will fix the run-away problem!" and they might have it licked in an hour (doubtful, or it would have already happened I think). Or it might take them three days to figure out what's causing it.
It would be nice to say a new issue could be slotted to fix a lot of bugs, but after the "usual" amount of hours put into an issue, they might not have a lot to show for it.
(Still, if issue 23 came along and all it was was "Issue 23: No More Running!", I think we all might appreciate it.)

Just about my favorite film of all time (when it comes to old school sci-fi) is Quatermass and the Pit, known to us Yanks as Five Million Years To Earth.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062168/
At 97 minutes long, it's a well done mix of sci-fi and horror, plus the original character (from some tv movies made in the UK in the early 60s) influenced Dr. Who and it beat 2001 to the screen with a theme that I won't give away here (spoilers!). And it's a Hammer Film Productions movie.
Seriously, what's not to love? -
Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart: "Pompous, self-opinionated idiot" I believe you said, Doctor?
Doctor Who: Yes, well, we don't want to bear a grudge for a few hasty words, do we? No, not after all the years we've worked together. Come along, my dear fellow. Put on a smile. Let's remember all...
[trails off]
Definitely sad news. -
Quote:This is why I write mine down, so I don't get caught later with "I know I had an awesome idea for a Ninajs/FF MM, but what was it?"It's not an illness, it's the next step of evolution. When you have too many great ideas to contain in one character, you have to let those ideas expand or fade away, or they'll cause your head to explode
On the other hand, now I have notes for far more toons than I can ever play.I'm thinking to create a massive arena-themed AE arc and just dump in something like 50 boss encounters to finally be able to use them all...

I set mine and it sometimes works. The few times I build a team (I just do so too slowly according to the impatient monkeys it seems), I've been able to snag all sorts of people who had "not looking" set.
I think the system needs some sort of overhaul to make it more user friendly, perhaps an explanation of the colors set into the frame or something. At the very least. -
I've had two toons that "clicked" for me enough to take them up to 50. I never play them anymore, except to test AE arcs with. I keep hoping I'll create a new toon and click with it, but so far, nada.
But I do have a lot of good toons in the 30s, so whenever I feel like tanking or stalkering or something, I'm usually good to go. -
Hm, I have two, although I'm not sure how beastly the bunnygirls are; then again, if catgirls count, so will bunnygirls, right?
I know a lot of people have played WickerWork by now though...
Both TOO MANY BUNNYGIRLS! and Against The WickerWork Khan! are listed in my sig.
It's been awhile since I last checked on the first one, but I think it's been updated for the XP update. Feel free to skip it on your list if I don't get a chance to check it or you don't want two subs from one author.
Update: Just checked BUNNYGIRLS, should be good to go. -

Hm! I'm not good with remembering too much about movie stars (like who they are :P), but the first name I came up with for Clave Dark 5, my stalker, would be that one guy... you know, has that face?
...
I'll go look, hold on...
Uhm...
Ah, here he is, Adrien Brody. Failing that, we've already seen Alan ******* playing someone with blue skin, so he'd work too.
And his name is censored on the boards (although I can see why)! Well, "you know, that guy who played NightCrawler in X2." -

Iiiinteresting. So, what missions does he give?

Quote:Huzzah! I love this game. This is pretty accurate actually. I started these threads to create an open dialogue with you guys about future art planning, and I think it's worked out incredibly well. Whenever we have an art conversation internally, I often find myself referring back to a solid point made here on an ATA thread, so in terms of making players' voices heard in-house, I'd say it's mission accomplished.
Ok guys, thread over! -
