Anyone else?
Getting nasty delays and lagginess, no matter which base I enter.
Heard some chatter about it on a couple of channels too.
Is it new, or I have I just had my head in the sand? -

Quote:It wasn't as close I'd hope to my votes, but all things considered nothing on the list really bothered me until the 20s. Really probably not a bad process for putting something like this together.
Now, how was HG Wells was relegated to the late 30s?... and Conan in the 60s? And it is clear to me that not enough people have read Ian M. Banks or Steven Brust.
Still, like I said. Nice list. Now, if you'll excuse me I have a web wish list to go update... -

Quote:Yep, yep. Sorry, I was talking about a sub-conversation in the mix and not the UG.Since the Incarnate Trials are just a "raid 'n' upgrade" grind en masse, there's no way for the devs to incorporate the player choices that made the Going Rogue expansion so much more interesting than standard-issue CoH missions.
If the Trials were complemented by some single-player missions or arcs in which characters count make meaningful decisions, the Incarnate content would be much more attractive. Otherwise, the Incarnate path is merely riding a plot on a rail. -

Quote:They are planning to use the store to keep new things appearing on a more regular basis - a la boosters between issues. I'm hoping more frequently than that. It appears that Street Justice is planned to be such a release. I'm hoping for Soon-er rather than Soon-ish.No, the being delayed part. I know they said "Soon after i21", but do they mean "Soon" as in, a week or three after i21 hits or "Soon" in a geologic sense?
edit: in response to later posts. more often = weekly... so yeah. goodness. -
Quote:At risk of my immortal soul... I agree with GG.I think some of you are downgrading Tyrant's power a bit too much - the Hamidon only agreed to the truce because it wasn't able to defeat Tyrant - it didn't go rampaging through South America, Mexico and parts of the South, wiping out whole cities and teams of superheroes sent to stop it, and then suddenly decide to back off a bit because it had a change of heart - Tyrant forced it to agree to a truce by being too powerful for it to defeat.
As a generalized reply, I have not seen any nitpicks re: the FW story arcs worth addressing in detail. The FW arcs are some of the most enjoyable in the game, IMO. That is not intended as an indictment on any other content, either. It is just good, fun stuff.
And I would expect certain heroes, played faithully, to struggle with some moments in the arcs. -
Quote:And it was, just fine in fact.As this is the 2nd wave of the Beta, yes I expect the Paragon Point system to be working at the very least.
Until the next larger wave started and stressed the system appropriately for a scaling beta progression.
You did want to help with testing right? And not just pet and hug the shiny? -

You are right, I did miss them. Just thought the Kat was quoting someone else's effort and commenting generally on 'the BAB crisis'. (I really shouldn't do these things on the fly at work whilst updating factory capacity data.)

The idea of duplicate Earths is fascinating, but I have a hard time accepting that the travels of the Starship Enterprise were grounded in hard science. But then again finding worlds with Romans and Nazis (and bears, oh my!) would be fun.

Quote:I assume you mean a focus on AoE as well, so yeah, the fire/fire is likely the best bet.So, as an avid fan of tankers and the play style, I'm looking for something a little different. And by 'a little' I mean completely different. I want something that'll go from a standstill to scorched earth in the shortest amount of time possible. Just as importantly it needs to be able to do this on the way to level 50, since I rarely play a character much after it hits 50. It doesn't need survivability in any shape or form, in fact I'd almost prefer it didn't, just a lot of shock and awe.
I'm currently thinking Fire/Fire or Fire/MM blaster for this particular character, though I'm open to other suggestions.
So, thoughts?
I'd probably wait and try out /StJ before jumping on a new tank, myself. Word on the street (bud-dump ching) is that is pretty and filled with pow bam oof -

No argument. I think he had specific and well defined expectations that were not met, and let that shade his entire acceptance of the work.
Quote:Rottentomatoes.com currently has Rise of the Planet of the Apes rated at 81% with 129 favorable reviews against 30 unfavorable ones. I basically never rely on any one single review of a movie good or bad. -
Bah.
That's a nothing.
Actually sounds like it'll fit neatly into the Castle vibe. -
Yeah, I saw one that was not particularly favorable.
Can't re-find the link tho.
Still, looking.
edit:
Here is one that isn't crazy about it. Still can't find the one I remembered reading.
