For what its worth, I think the legs are disproportionately large compared to the rest of the body. Actaully the left leg (his left) looks fine but there's something not quite right with the foreshortening on the right leg.
Also, the right bicep needs to be pushed forward away from the trunk and foreshortened along with the forearm. The right hand looks disconnected and just lying on his knee.
Having said that I must say I like the pose and overall style of the piece. -

Hehe jk. Nice though.

Trust me; If I'd kept every drawing I'd crumpled up and thrown down in disgust I'd have suffocated under a mountain of paperwads looooong ago.
Thanks for the kind words -
I can stand it no longer...I've been trying to draw for over 20 years off and on (more off than on to be honest) and reading this forum over the last couple of weeks has inspired me to break out the ol' lead sharpener and finally crank out at least one "finished" piece of work.
And what better subject to start with than everybody's favorite art collector, right? Let's begin, shall we?
Stage One - The rough sketch.
Just so we're all clear...the figure in the upper left corner was traced over a Tom Strong comic book cover. Its been a while since I handled a lead holder so I figured I would use a small traced figure to base my free-hand sketch off of. The large figure is 100% free-hand and will be the basis for my version of Thor's Assassin.
Please feel free to offer advice, critiques, or any words of encouragement you may have.
Next step: TA's basic costume shapes and adjusting the angle of the right wrist/hand. -

Guess I better hop on board before its too late.
Chuck Justice - Mutant Fire/Ice tank. He's just doing this hero gig until he gets noticed by Hollywood.

Got three designs for you. One casual, one *ahem* really casual, and the third a slightly more conservative (I guess that's a good way to put it) version of his costume.

Casual indeed!
No. 3 has piqued my interest. I may tweak it but if I use it I'll make sure I give you credit in my bio.
Thanks! -
Maybe you can give me a little advice.
I've been trying to design a second costume (with cape) for my Fire/Ice Tank, Chuck Justice, but I'm not having much luck finding a design I like. I'd like it to be thematicaly similar to the original design. I tried to draw from late 70's to early 80's comic books for a mix of silver-age and bronze-age.

Chuck is 10% superhero and 90% media-darling wannabe. He's hoping to parley the notariety gained from his heroic deeds into silver-screen stardom so he likes to look good for his adoring fans at all times. -
Great renditions! I love the style of the recent DC cartoons.
I would too would be honored to be included.
