Mine is the same its bloody fun if I saw so myself! I never played EA or WM so I thought to role a WM/EA brute for kicks and fell in love with him. It was really easy to cap defense to S/L/F/C/E/N as well.

    Grav/kin

OKay here is what I came up for you LSK.. (since I know how you play)

    44.3% defense to Smashing/Lethal
    40.6% defense to energy/negative
    31.8% defense to Psionic
    33.1% defense to fire/cold

    Ranged defense of 23.1%

+recharge of 25% I know having Earths embrace is good in the event you miss transfusion and don't have insperations its a good OH CRAP power not to mention the +HP comes in handy. In any event here is the build its pretty solid for PvE.

I did find no need for hurl boulder since all the grav powers do -fly and propel animation is long enough lol in any event here is the build.

    Fire Kins

    So here is the question^

Basically Fire/Kins late game get alot of +damage from Fulcrum shift. Having 3 pets with with them and Flashfire (aoe stun) coupled with either Earth mastery or Fire Mastery they put out a lot of damage and thus can normally speed through maps its the reason they are one of the top farmers one could want. (Not to say they are the only choice for farming) Having 3 scrapping imps amped up on FS attacking with you is what makes them a threat in PvE.

They also have the ability to be a none stop attacking chain since they have transference and transfusion to get health and end back. Also siphon speed increases there recharge and maintain high movement levels. Couple that with opening with Flash Fire or Cinders, then spamming Fire Cages with Hotfeet on then fireball (or stalgmites/Sesmic smash for earth mastery) most mobs just melt.

Basically the combination is a quality farmer since they can kill faster than most other combinations. Most people do not start seeing the change in them until after they get there fire imps at 32. If you have a fire troller try to level it to 32 and see the difference.

Since the question was not,.. which controller combination is the best.. it was "Whats so great about Fire/Kins" There is your answer, there great at fast AoE damage and survivability, thus making them prime farmers.

All Controllers are good at different things however.
  9. In my expierence, The bare minium I have noticed to make a perma dom is 143% recharge. (I have hasten, but Hasten does not have to be perma, mine was just shy of 10 seconds off of having hasten perma) hope that helps. My dom's are now around 155 recharge at the minimum. having them at 143% you have to act quickly to make sure hasten is up and you have a short time to click on Domination, and you might sometimes miss click it in time. I try to shoot for 150-155+ recharge at the minium as a result.

In terms to if its worth it, its up to the player and what they are trying to accomplish. I will say that Mind/ permadoms are extremely handy in MoRSF's, not always needed but handy none the less. Just my opinion.

Your new to these forums (going by your post count) but just going to say that Con gives some of the best PvP advice on these forums. Maybe you should keep an open mind and not get so defensive. Its no reason to nerd rage.

    Static Team

Saturday nights. 8pm PST(11pm EST) start time. I know this is late for alot of players. But this is the start time I wanna use. I actually might move it up an hour and make it 9pm PST start time. Dunno yet.

To give everyone a background on my static team experience, i have been a leader of or part of a static team(s) for at least 4 years. On Justice and on Champion(most recent). I am the leader of a villain static team running on Sunday nights. We have had the same 8 players from the start and for the most part has been super fun. On Wednesday night, my static team is lv 50 and in the final parts of the praetorian AV arc and are about to make the move to a villain team.

I would prefer this new static team i want to put together be a hero team. More choices and much more to do. This will not be a power-level team, but rather i want it to be a monster/badge hunting style team. That is my hope.

Therefore i put this out to the players on Justice(or anyone else reading this thread) to see who might be interested.

I plan to have our first session Jan 2nd if possible. That gives a week and a half to get enough people. Even if we only have 4 heroes by then, i still plan to start the team. I will work out other details of the team as this thread fills with interested folks.

Okay so every Saturday starting on January 2nd, 2010 @8pm PST(11pm EST). You want to start a 8 man team for badge related stuff? Am I understanding this correctly so far?

If you can PM me some details like which badges, extact times (since you stated it might be an hour later), and what zone to start in. I can put it on the Justice United calendar and Message of the day for others to join to get the ball rolling.

    Looking For

    Justice-badges

    Justice United

    JFA2010

(the "Justice Radio" channel has some chatter for TF's from time to time as well)

Those are the main public channels on the server for this type of thing.

Also if you wish to see what other public channels there are..

Right click in your chat box, select "Search Channels"

A menu will come up, you can type in Justice and search then sort by online or members to see who has the most activity. There is also a set description for each channel listed for most. (note* private channels will not appear)
  15. I feel dirty picking a song for Justice without Flea's approval

Probably messaging anyone with a star in the channel, or (I'm about to volunteer him) sending Chrome_Family a message via mail on the coh boards might work if you have any future events you want on there. Unless Mr. Chrome have any ideas on how you want to work that?
Sure I check these forums pretty often, I normally don't check them much on Monday's though, just saying..I am sure any of us can take lead on it though when ever, no biggie

We keep up with the forums but a simple tell to one of the JU mods in game or a forum email to myself or any other JU mod like Enrious, Zappalina, etc and we will all be able to add them as well

Note* we also post stuff that aren't in the cox forums as well since not everyone use's CoX boards, these are also on the weekly MoTD's on Justice United.

Once Cai puts the details (how to win the prizes) and what the exact time the event is to be held on January 3rd we will add it to the calendar. well the event has been added to the calendar, I will edit it once we get more details on how to win the prizes and what time it starts
  18. Nice thread Pum,

To all the new folks, welcome to Justice

Just wanted to add that for some music this server also provides Justice Radio you can always listen to it on your media player or click the link below to go to there webpage to see the directions.

    http://justiceradio.net/

In game public channels to join would be:

    JFA2010
    Justice United
    Justice-badges
    Justice Radio

In regards to Justice Events the JU mods have been trying to capture them all here for the last few weeks:

    http://tinyurl.com/Justice-Events

(note* You don't have to be a member to view the calendar.)

I am your resident Chromey signing off.
