Because I am a beginner when it comes to coloring digitally I don't usually give con/crit about digital coloring jobs beyond noticing some overlooked detail or general impression or choice of color palette, that said I do like what you have done with this drawing. Good colors for the flames and I like that you added a "City of" background.
The work you have done certainly adds to the piece but the original is still visually present, nicely done BW (the other, other BW
).
If I could suggest one thing for improvement it would be there needs to be finer control of your masking/selection process (most noticeable on the fringes of the fire and the occasional white specs where there should be only black) but I wouldn't know what process you are using or how to refine it.

Only thing I might suggest is the contrail through the air tracing the arc of her polearm (the "swish"
)
needs to be made clearer, doesn't have to be made darker just more obvious that it is, it's a little difficult to make out.

Unless Alpha has another armored suit that I haven't seen where he is wearing blue tights on his upper body... but even then his abdominal region looks to be metal plates and circuitry. Perhaps it would help a bit if you were more specific? What are you looking for comment on? The drawing? Pose? Coloring? Technique? (your title would suggest color?)
Are you wanting critique or just comments?
It could be that no one wants to step on any toes until they know what you are asking for... I have huge feet so stomping on toes comes naturally to me.

Sidenote: It seems my straight-faced attempt at a ridiculous "I'm sure you'll do better next time" type answer to a bacony non-sequitur

The platters inside a hard drive (where all the data is stored) are in a hermetically sealed environment and kept in a partial vacum... there really is no way for dust to get in an kill a drive short of breaking the seal/cracking it open. I suppose dust can clog all the fans in a computer causing a system to overheat but this can fairly easily be remedied and shouldn't cause data loss.
More often than not when you cannot access your data it's due to the OS or some software getting corrupted... the data is usually still there.
Recovering data can be very time consuming/expensive though and so most just buy a new drive and restore if they have a good recent backup or reinstall if they do not... or panic and call someone like me to come along and save their stuffz.
P.S. From a hardware standpoint there is no difference between the way a Mac and a PC store data. Apple does not make their own hard drives anymore than they make monitors or videocards and a Mac uses the same parts that a PC does just a different and proprietary Operating System. You should still have a good system for regular backups. **takes off myth debunking hat.**

If you are talking about just buying a solid state drive choose wisely my friend most of the ones flooding the market stink or just are not worth the premium being charged for them.
Granted I am pickier than most when it comes to choosing parts () but I would recommend you do a little research and if possible...
1. Get one that has a good controller like the Intel or the Indilinx Barefoot etc etc
2. Supports the TRIM command (especially if you are now or will be upgrading to Windows7) or at the very least has a solid wiper/trash collection tool.
3. Buy from a reputable company
There are also several things you can do to optimize a system for working with a SSD like disable any disk defragmentation or re-ordering apps (they are useless to a SSD and will cause needless wear and tear over time) for example... etc etc

I have several instances of "sword in the head" clipping on Strahd... sometimes it's accidental
and sometimes the games ragdoll physics "inflicts it" on me.
