Eyes and brows look ok to me nose and mouth do not. The eyes and lips seem to be expressing different and incongruous emotions.

@ Caemgen: Haha no way are you getting off that easy.
Almost every entrant used Alice as their hot chick... the only clear exceptions that I see is Pyro with The Queen of Hearts/Countess and possibly Happy Dan (depending on how he interprets the scene) so we would all be out on that technicality... Nice try but you my friend are still in it... suckah!

Then you are by definition an Artist for the duration... and if you think that's a technicality and you have no "real skill" I'd say your last entry or two would beg to differ with you.
@ Wassy: I <3 my FArt Mistress! ...but yeah you did leave the door open on this.
This is not anything new going on as this same kind of thing happened in both prior years contests so it should not come as a surprise and you shouldn't blame people for questioning something that is stated as a rule but is not strictly adhered to.
That said I am willing to abide by your rulings... if you say the piece is accepted then it is... end of story. People can still ask for clarification, voice opinions or suggest a better solution going forward (like the pick 3 rule I suggested) but the call for this month has been made.
I for one am in favor of keeping the Hot chick rule as a rule and am enjoying seeing how people use it creatively or poke fun at it. If they go too far or fail to meet muster well that's no big deal, they can change/fix (as has happened successfully already) it and the contest goes on.

and is the character most everyone remembers. She is the fat, loudmouthed,
foul-tempered, homicidal nutjob that is always screaming "Off with their heads!!!!"
Depicted in the original story as this...
The Red Queen on the other hand comes from the 2nd book "Through the Looking Glass."
Fond of giving lectures and pedantic to the nth degree The Red Queen is known for her
abstract questions and double meanings. She is actually helpful towards Alice (instead of
constantly trying to have her beheaded) and teaches her the rules of the game, most
importantly how to become a queen, even though Alice will be on the opposing team.
She is originally depicted as a personified chess piece.

and while both Tatyrsause and Wassy seem to be referencing Carroll's stories as well they are getting the two queens completely mixed up.
Bubbawheat is failing to even recognize that there are two different queens and seems to think they are same person.
All four of you are wrong.
P.S. The Disney movie is totally separate from the books and actually takes three characters, The Queen of Hearts, The Duchess and The Red Queen, and combines them into one.
This is probably where a lot of the confusion surrounding the queens comes from... *shrug* of course the new film isn't helping much as it doesn't follow the original books regarding the queens either.

3. There exists a great many different realities. Extensive research done at Portal corporation has proven this conclusively but what they don't yet realize is just how many other ways exist to travel between the different aspects of the multi-verse, portals are but one option among many... some are scientifically created, some are magical, and others purely natural in origin. One particular type of naturally occurring space/time "rift" is actually fairly common but is for the most part totally inert and nearly impossible to detect until triggered and even then may go unnoticed.
This is how Caemgen came to be.
One rainy day many years ago Caemgen's mother, pregnant with him but as yet unaware of the fact, was walking down an alleyway as a shortcut to get to the parking garage where her car was stored and unbeknownst to her in a completely different dimension known as Felidaemon, portal corp designation XJ-327, (one where the dominant species that evolved were feline in nature rather than primate and interbreeding with demons was common) her alternate self, who was also now pregnant, happened to be walking down that same alley at exactly the same moment and for a brief instant their bodies occupied the same dimensional space as each other and a rift was formed.
As luck would have it this particular rift was relatively tiny and not powerful enough to pull Caemgen's "mothers" through... however the newly conceived life growing in both their wombs was a perfect fit. The exchange was made and, save for a strange tugging sensation and a momentary feeling of terrible loss that quickly passed, neither woman was any the wiser that a bizarre change had taken place... that would not be the case for very long.

So yeah Cat/Demon Caemgen is the way he is due to a naturally occurring rift that caused him to trade places with the human version of himself while still in his mothers womb. There is no sign of a magical origin for Caemgen as the rift that brought him here was not magical in nature but rather a purely natural phenomena. Neither is there any sign of being a Mutant because no radical mutation has occurred at all... both Caemgen's are perfectly normal and average specimens of their respective races and would not stand out at all... were they not stranded in alternate dimensions.

I am also using 3.6.2 with no issues which along with aggelakis might suggest it is not FF itself but perhaps a plugin, addon or extension you are using that we are not.
Snow Globe has it right, if you are of the mind that "I don't care to know why it's messed up I just want it working again" regress your install of FF to an earlier version.
If you want to be sure it's to do with your FF install (or a part that you added to FF) then go download Google Chrome or fire up the old Internet Explorer that is still on your machine by default and see if you can reproduce the issue.

*squishes the crab, kills the annoying bird, and pees on the more annoying yellow fish.. then walks off with ariel over his shoulder* ... on second thought.. it could be that I NEVER thought Alice was a sexy chick.. err.. unlike other Disney characters...
...now if you dont mind.. I have a red-haired princess that needs to be introduced to my own breaded fish stick.. *walks off into the sunset*...
and I don't see it being that hard... we are not limited to ONLY characters from Alice i.e. this is a CoH crossover so the hawt chick can be anyone from the CoH universe including one of your characters or something from the accepted cannon like an NPC and she doesn't have to be the centerpiece, she could just as easily be a part of the background like someone who accidentally wandered into Wonderland.

Interesting spread this time around, much closer vote so far but of course it could all change any second... currently (as of Deebs vote)we have
Jkat in the lead by just 6 points over Shia followed by Pyro Nympho in third place then Juggertha followed by a
dead tie between Happy Dan and U-Naught then ChristopherRobin to round out the top half of the field.
I think this three point system is working pretty well to help spread the votes a bit more.

Honorable mention goes to
Shia: Really liked both pieces but the 2nd one is really inspired. Love the old-school illustration look... only thing is I can't quite wrap my head around either blackened Alice gnawing on a behemoth or the demonic Queen of Hearts as being a "hawt chick" per say *shrug* maybe one of the acolyte is female and hot... the robes are kinda billowy.
Tatyrsause: Many good crossover elements between villains and Alice and a very dark theme... granted same could be said of wonderland though so it works. Also can't see the scary facemaker Alice who is slashing her wrist as hot... but to each their own I guess.
& Bubbawheat: Good use of the costume creator to make up the guests and some 'shoppin to add in the stuff the game would never allow like the Cheshire cat grin hovering over the table and the infinite progression window/mirror. Scary faces again... a real trend this month it seems, more so than hawt but some could see it as hot I suppose.
Sidenote: I would really have loved to see Happy Dan's, Lousy Day's and well... mine too (), in their finished forms.

I actually hadn't read Amerikatt's post as I have been busily retooling my entry as soon as I realized I would not have time (I'm sensing a trend here for the artists this month) to finish it the way I originally intended... I just happened to have a similar idea.
Originally there were three thought bubbles the 2nd one being the Madd Hatters Tea Party but the version done by Tom Petty and the 3rd one was going to be a shot of Humpty Dumpty only it was to be crossed with Juggertha and the caption was to read
Humpty Juggy slipped off a tram rail...
Humpty Juggy was to epic FAIL!

Reorganized it and went with just the one thought of the Ameri-chesire-Katt appearing out in front of the Atlas Plaza steps cuz I figured that for many
people new to MMO's, popping out at the bottom of the steps in Atlas and looking around for the first time must feel a bit like being in wonderland... it did to me.
