#1 Yes that is what I mean by it's a combination of the Smooth and Valkyrie#3 it has attributes of both but isn't a total match with either. This of course only matters to someone really familiar with the CC... they still look cool as is.
#2 Yeah again it's not that there is anything bad with the image it still looks great but there are no electrical type powers in the Fire/Fire sets and no Ancillary pools with a scrapper that I can think of that have electric attacks either so it's one of those things that make you go "hmmm I wonder what that's doing in this picture" it just looks out of place to me... must just be OCR.
#3 In the OP if you real below the picture Red said she fell off her stool when she saw it.

Had a little more time now so I looked it over a bit more... I like that all the costume pieces are easily identifiable... the three things I would point out (thought they could very well be intentional design choices).
#1 Are the shoulder pads which appear to be a hybrid of the Valkyrie and Smooth pads set. They have the shape of one Valkyrie#3 but yet they are only a single plate like the Smooth instead of a double plate design like Val's have.
#2 If I knew nothing of the character and someone showed me this image and asked what kind of scrapper I thought is was I would guess Electric. Sure there are a lot of reds, oranges and such in the costume and atmosphere but I'm curious why a Fire/Fire hero would have what looks like electricity fx on his hand rather than say a fireball?
#3 You sit on a stool?

Very human hands and feet though, does she not have paws/claws of any kind (or even long nails)?
The description makes her sound like more of a cat than a catgirl or a girl though,
did she go through some sort of transformation that made her human?

Can't tell until the last minute really... if the deadline is past and all entries are in then I'd guess yes.
There has just always been (at least) one person per month that has dropped out or failed to submit in time. I'm hoping that changes soon.

Anyways... Thump Test Trial has ended *sighs sadly*.
I thought it would be smart not to draw on the drawing I started for CR, but to just draw something else.... You know.. incase of screwing up?
Well... untill my thumb started to stiffen up (really hard to hold a pencil that way!) and slighty hurt I came up with this...
Lara Croft (been playing Tomb Raider Legend lately).
Scetching is going alright.. it's just the details that are a pain!...litterally...
(well ok yeah I do... but I'll pretend convincingly that I don't) get all healed up first ok?
P.S. I really like that Laura start you have there but ummmm... isn't her bust supposed to be bigger?
I mean it's got like it's own postal code in the game and movies.

Nice work on these man, good range of color and I see you fixed up some stuff too (removed the cut line from Bayani's piece, made Alpha's neck mechanical like it should be etc etc)... the colors are even a bit more vibrant than your norm. Cool stuff Eddy.
Only things I might suggest (just a preference thing) is to color the pages/debris blowing around in Caemgen's scene... even if it's a light color like yellow or amber just so the only white is the background. A white piece of something on a white background with only a black outline looks like it got overlooked.
Also the codpiece on Alpha... with the inner side of his right thigh being dark and a heavy drop shadow (from the torso) over his left thigh I don't see how there can be "top-lighting" striking his crotch in between them. If there was another light source it would have to be from a side or below and so a different part of the surface should be white. I am no expert on metallics though so by all means correct me if you see it differently.
P.S. Just noticed Bayani's piece got flipped horizontally too... is this a correction because he is left handed?

I've liked your art for a while now Neko (read the bio a ways back too)...
thought I'd seen them all (even the 200 click ones) but that Knightly one eluded me somehow, very cool.
I really like some of the stuff Federico has done for you too... not just cuz it's naughty (that don't hurt though)
either but I really like how his style conveys a lot with just few lines... and that piece he did of you as "the diversion"...
Anyways gratz on finally having your own CoH artz thread and I look forward to seeing more Neko stuff (figuratively speaking) soon.

Looks cool BAss... when I think of Ouro though I picture the yellows pinks and oranges and the suns in the background... the white is kind of stark. Would it be difficult to try a version with some color added?
