Belated Birthday Wishes PS.
Didn't see a link anywhere to refs and searching DA for PowerStream turned up 0 deviations
so I guessed you weren't looking for sketches but hey hope you had a cool birthday. Cheers!

Sorry to hear about your back man I hope it's not too serious or long term.
Best luck on your submission for art funding.

I hope your mother has a speedy recovery from her surgery and can move on with her life and my hats off to Chemo Girl.
Anyone who knows a survivor knows what a hero really looks like. A very fitting portrayal.

Quote:No worries Mystic. Glad you have your set complete, they look great.....................Now, don't get me wrong, CR, your design is so much cooler! It's just that after I thought about it, I felt like a jerk for nitpicking and asking you to make changes to something you did out of kindness. Plus, I really wanted to get my monsters set completed so I could show them off this weekend
I've got a few more coming up, stay tuned!
Mine would've been really tough to carve but it was worth trying to make one anyway.
@Bubba: Mystic said he tried different ways to make his lit pumpkins show up better in photos, maybe ask him what he is doing.

Really loving that Zombie Gals WIP Kat... you may wanna two click it that's an awful lot of nippage.
Looks like it will be at least partially covered in the colors though.

@Mystic: Okay cool, I'll see what I can do with the bits you pointed out later tonight.
@Caemgen: Thanks man. Yeah I like the little details in my drawings but they certainly increase the difficulty if one were to actually try and carve it heh.
No Airhead's image is not an actual carved pumpkin but it is a well executed photo manip.
@Airhead: Kudos man I had to stare at your pic for a few seconds to be sure.

Oops yeah I see what you mean with the center of his ear floating and not attached to anything...
what looked good in a pencil sketch doesn't necessarily work in a cutout pattern lol.
If you actually want to try carving this beast of a stencil I can fix the ear and thicken up
a few of the really delicate lines for ya Mystic, it would make for a fun collab.

Nice work Vex Hybrid and Eat.
Don't know if a pumpkin carving stencil will count but hey it's Halloween themed for sure.
Larger version & WIPs are in my thread.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BAYANI.
Not many may realize this but Bayani also gave me blanket permission to draw
in a pm a while back so... here ya go man enjoy.
This one's an electric...
Electric/Will Power that is... it's like a scrapper blanket n' stuff...
Okay not really but it was cut from a really big piece of cloth so it's technically a scrap... close enough right?
P.S.This silly gag only makes sense if you've read PG's birthday reply to me lol
but all kidding aside I hope you have a great day man.

Real nice work Mystic.
I checked out the site... I think Batman looks better the way you have it (without the eyes).
They do have a werewolf on there but no I didn't see the Wolfman either. Probably wouldn't be that hard for you to create one though.

Wow the color really punches it up man. Lots of good detail work going on in the background too.
Few small things I might point out, if you care for constructive criticism, would be:
The blue stripe on the fringe of his cape fades to red near the end of the line.
The wraparound with Paragon City written on it looks transparent (I can see the spire through it) on
the front side but more solid on the backside and it doesn't appear to be attached to anything.
Not sure what the red shape is just outside his metal mask? If it's his ear and jawline I would suggest moving it down and in a bit.
His eyeline should roughly be the top of his ear and I don't think you should see much of his jaw if at all.
Hands seem a little small and on the fingers of his right hand the facet of the knuckles facing the viewer seem
to get smaller almost like they are going towards a vanishing point.
Rest is looking good and the City of Heroes billboard was a nice touch.
You could always go for the gritty anti-hero type (think Wolverine) but hey no reason to limit yourself, as others have mentioned try em both H and V and once you get a either to level 20 (it used to be 50) you will unlock the epic archetypes (Peacebringers & Warshades blueside and Soldiers of Arachnos redside) too. Have fun experimenting and great time to join as we just got a whole new city (Praetoria) to explore.
What problems are you having with the game? There might be someone here who has had it and already knows the fix.
-
Yeah I've been in 5 times myself. Still should mean a dozen or so people have seen the thread but not said anything... sup with dat?

Quote:Yes the above is completely true, Planet Girl did indeed give me permission to draw blankets during a super secret private conversation a long long time ago in a galaxy fa.... errr... well someone has to draw the lurkers out of hiding every once in a while.Hehehee...thank you both! You know I'm much more of a lurker than poster, but I do thank you.
I appreciate your comment, Caemgen, and I'll treasure your "birthday card" doodle
And CR, thanks again. I do like this...sometimes I like it rough sketchy-ish[BTW CR had a blanket permission from a private conversation way-back-when.]
Now, on to celebrating 10.10.10...or 42 day!
P.S. 80 pageviews and only 3 people said Happy Birthday? You don't have to create art or have a fancy .gif to pop in and say best wishes and such. Fer shamez j00 lurkerz!

Hey Aglow some real nice pieces you got in this latest batch. Any chance you can put links to the artist who did them.
Some (like Eddy Swan) I recognize their style or signature but some are new to me and I'd like to go check out their galleries.
P.S. What is she going as for Halloween? I'm guessing part Santa's helper, part GEM, and part Cyndi Lauper.

Not too shabby.
Welcome aboard DSNG.
P.S. Go for a hero... villains smell funny. >o.0<
