I really like what he did with the coloring (especially the blue/green light coming in from the right) and this piece makes me chuckle,
she looks a bit crazy (in a good way heh) biting her lip... is she playing hackeysac with a butterfly?

I drew this last night, it's not CoH, but I did it on my old Graphire 3 because I am so excited about the Cintiq. I don't normally draw only on tablet because since I'm traditionally trained it's very hard for me to keep things consistent because I'm not watching my hand make my lines, I have to look up at a screen while I draw in my lap. All this will change any minute now!
drawing on my lap while the lines appear on a screen in front of me has been one of the biggest challenges to learning digital.
The minute I saw the first Cintiqs I was like ooooh that would totally solve that issue... then I saw what they cost lol.
The price will come down eventually and I should be more familiar with the medium by then.
I'm excited for you though Cami you'll have to let us know how you like it.
Also really like the look of this latest sketch. Is she a particular ethnicity (guessing African) or just something off the top of your head?

It, for whatever reason, doesn't seem to be getting a lot of attention as of yet and there's only 11 days left.
I'm open to suggestion if anyone has ideas or is working on a piece for this fire away and if you have
something holiday themed you want to post don't be shy this is open to any and all.

You should talk to DD (Darth Delicious) I've only done one run of commissions so far (due to a very busy holiday season) but the things I picked up I passed along to her and she is now open for commissions. She is another "pencil on paper" artist who gave away lots of freebies and got asked about commissions now is just starting out offering them (and now has a friend offering to do coloring too as a bonus), you guys could share ideas/info back and forth.
Also Juggertha, Lady Judgement, ImagesByAlex, etc etc or any other artists here (now or at some point previously) and on DA, they've done dozens of City of Heroes commissions and have threads you can search for or DA journals where they talk about their setup. Or just put up your own and ask any specific questions and I'm sure people with more experience will happily share what they know.
Also there is a sticky thread by Bayani at the top of the forums that has lots of good ideas about what to expect. Not all of it will apply (he is talking about professional full time artists for the most part) but good info none-the-less.
Finally since we are not allowed to advertise and mention exact prices for services on the boards a good idea I could suggest is to write up a brief sheet explaining the what, the when and how much and post an external link to it (here is what I used for example) here so people can read up and decide what they want. Many others just put up a journal on their DA page with similar info and link to that. All I can think of for now. Cheers!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who showed up, we ran a few of the Baby New Year and some Lady Winters and then a WinterLord Hunt and a trip to the WL realm to kick his but again, a few hiccups along the way (I learned that leaving the zone to help someone wanting to join us who's caught in a Rikti raid auto-disbands a mixed team) but it was lots of fun.
Never hit 8 at any one point for the costume contest (we had between three and seven 606'ers join up throughout the night) to happen but yeah I'd like to do another one if there are enough people up for it. Perhaps earlier in the day so people across the pond can join us this time.
How many would be interested in a 2nd run?

I had that problem once two days ago I just ran the update/fixer and it let me log in right after that. It's worth a shot.

That is some great use of contrast. Is that Fenian Wolf looking at a clone of herself? Or is she the clone?
Also is there some meaning to one being in the dark (villain, vigilante) and the other
being in the light (Hero, Rogue) or is that just coincidence?
The Fenian in the tank's head seems a bit large for her body but that could just be my impression.

16 GBP is just over 25 USD these days so yeah the price is certainly right as the cheapest Wacom
(barring sales or used) is almost twice that. You'll have to let us know how it works out for you.

You do know Father Time gives two mission choices now though, right? The standard Baby New Year and the Winter Lady mission. I think they give out the same rewards but I think Winter Lady may have a badge for defeating her so the group should do her (heh) at least once...
Ironik - I would bet he means PM.
Heard about the new badge but haven't tried the new mission yet... but sure I'm totally up for new content.
Does it still involve baby new year?

Short notice here but someone needs to host an event so people from the 606 can get together to run the Holiday content.
I'm thinking Sunday the 19th @9PM Central (10Eastern 7Pacific) on Virtue. Meet up just inside the ski chalet and do 5 runs (more if people want to hit more than one hero)
of Baby New Year and then hunt down a Winter Lord and try the new "open the special present and be sent to the realm of the WL" if they have it fixed by then.
If we get 8 people I'll hold a Holiday theme costume contest. Everyone send me a tell with their top two favorite costumes and most votes wins a sketch.
