I started in I0, well before globals. When I returned, my global was the first character I logged into (which I then changed), not my first character.

True story, my good friend finally took my advice and created an account and joined the game...
She wasn't sure if the laptop she was using at the time could handle the game, so she quickly made a character...
For some reason... Named Dorkus1... Because (of course) Dorkus was already taken......

And, of course, I told her that you can never change your global name and she would forever have that as her public global handle.

I'm a little surprised at people saying they don't remember their first hero... it's the same as your global name.
Yes I know globals can be changed now and that possibly didn't apply to beta (maybe it did I wasn't in until issue 2)
but just think what your global friends knew you as back then... that was your first hero.
Personally I think there should've been some kind of warning sticker on the CD/DVD/game box, be aware that the first character you
create will be your ingame name for a loooong time so maybe hold off on making Captain Fuzzy Pants until your 2nd hero
(I got lucky and chose an cool memorable name but I bet some were less thrilled with their global).
Oh and my first hero still wears the same exact costume, it's still awesome so why mess with it?

Oh yeah I can see what you meant now. Nice range of surfaces and textures in your paintings (there's a $1,000 tampon joke in there somewhere but faux modesty does not permit my telling of it) and I really like the well-to-do drake painting it's a nice juxtaposition. Also like the minimalist view of Walt and Mickey... that from the statue at Disney world (never been there)?

Too bad your birthday was so bland and you got nothing cool, but hey at least someone did.
Also I seem to recall a bunch of "your reference shots" were taken by me. Granted they are not the
best shots I ever took (and they predate Ultra Mode) but I would think they make the cutoff for GOOD.

My current "favorite to play" hero Dark Aedan is barely 5ft. tall. *shrug*
If it's accurate then no worries, I guess Comrade Hero is larger than life in my head and this looked out of place to me.

I once asked that of Kheldarn a while back... thought he just knew everyone from being around so long and taking notes or something lol.
Turns out there is a calendar that tells everyone's birthday (unless people don't give that info at all then they are not counted) which you can find here. I started paying attention since I try to do gift artz for as many peeps of the 606 forum here as I have time for. I don't catch em all (some days there are over 100 birthdays) but I try to spot as many as I can.

The fire is very stylized (almost like the flames you would see on a custom paint job or tattoo) but I like it.
