Thank you for spelling it out, ChristopherRobin. When I first saw the answers (no where close to my mulling) in the post I scrolled up and still couldn't figure it out. Then I read the rest of your post and finally could see how to arrive at the answer.

Had a request to "please explain the puzzle after someone gets it right." Sooo...
f.y.i. The word William stacked in the shape of a square and the word Sharpie backwards
(the clues being the first letter S is capitalized at the end and the font is similar to their logo).
The word Sharpie has been synonymous with markers since 1964 and they are sold
in more than 20 countries.
f.y.i. Mid's Hero Designer (often just called Mids)
Batman (also called the Dark Knight except here he is not dark at all, so just Knight)
Emergency Room like the ones you beam to when you are defeated in game (often abbreviated ER)
The green stone "Mere" used by the Maori warriors (it's a club)... where was Comrade Hero on this one?

GreatRock, if I didn't want you to win again I would
simply say one win per person and bar you from competing.
If you really like Rantz's style you can always commission him.
He was nice enough to put up a sale just for players of CoH and you
could get a piece like this for less than half the price he has listed on it's DA page.

Thanks Llydia I am glad people had fun with it and I've heard back that some of the artists
have received commissions as a result so it's win win as far as I am concerned.
I also noticed an interesting trend, in the beginning many were showing up
to the ingame events just for the billions in influence I was giving away.
But at every event DD and I constantly mentioned the coXso DA page
(and she would give announcements every hour on the hour leading
up to a contest) with the list of art prizes and over time the chatter
during the events changed from people talking about how much they
wanted the influ to people immediately wanting to know what art prizes
were up for grabs and 3 actually gave the influ back... they had only come
for the artz. I recognized some of the names/globals as art savvy regulars but
many were brand new and mentioned specifically coming just for a chance to win art.
It's a little thing but it made me smile. It's been a while since something game related did that.

I thought that one might be a bit hard but acting as someone who didn't know the
answer or have any idea what the last two parts meant I just googled "orange lion" and
found the Ing bank all over the first page of results and "types of curved needles"
found darning quickly as well so I figured it was workable.

I may have another prize or two to give yet. Randy Kintz had no internet access over the weekend and was not able to confirm his prize before Sunday but may still want me to give it. Might be another as well. I will post more as I tie up loose ends and help a few people get suitable refs taken to send to the relevant artists. Still a Cashoo bust + Xenophage colors up for grabs in the 606 yet too.
