  1. Yeah, I know it's true (was in the Beta test for a few months before it launched, it wasn't too terrible at the
time but it took several wrong turns from there ), that game became such a disappointment.

With that in mind it almost would've been a better prank to say:
"No more City of Heroes... instead go play Champions, the hero game full of fun!"

    Now that would've been funny.

    Saved Costumes

If you have another computer load CoH on it and then copy the contents
of the costume folder over and see if they become visible. Alternatively if you have a friend
who plays email him a copy of a few of the costumes that won't load in your list and ask if he/she can see them.

If another PC is not available then I would say make a note of the cutoff point beyond which costumes stop
working and then turn off the game. Go into the costume folder and cut/paste all the ones you
can see out of the folder leaving only the ones that you could not scroll too left over.

Fire up the game and check if you can see them now or if the list of costumes is empty.
This would let you know if there is something wrong with those specific files (in which case you
open one and compare it to one of the working ones to see what is different) or with the list in the game client.

As always the goal with intelligent troubleshooting
is to eliminate variables and look for patterns/discrepancies.
  3. I enjoyed the comic Camille (WONDERKICK! ), there are some minor spelling, grammar and punctuation errors but it's well drawn.
I especially like the cover and the two shots of Cami in the last panel. Oddly the silhouette of her healing is
what draws my eye the most, I keep coming back to it. Strange but there you have it.

Also very nice job on the Devil twins. Great poses.
  4. The hero game full of fail? lol
  5. Good use of lighting to create atmosphere.
I like the sniper shot in black and white and the city overlook in the rain (clever to cut the
Wolf's head and put it under his arm like a mask he carries), always wished we could have weather of some sort.
My favorite though has to be the interior shot of the corner shop in Atlas. That's some nice 'shoppin you've done Hammerhoof.

    Man you said it.
I would like to see more of your coh art posted though if you have any.

  7. Welcome back to the game PT (apparently from a WoW hiatus ) and glad your tablet is working properly again.

    P.S. Who's the us?
  8. Thanks guys.
Thought I should put up some more linework as well for others to play with.
Here is a drawing I did a while back for DJ1 of his blaster Grey Ming Badda Bing.

Larger version can be had here.
His colors are pretty simple (mostly gray, black & brown).

Only Bubba can make it official by posting the final results and charts but yes we have a definite winner.
Congratulations Tatyrsause! Way to step it up with the multi-panel submission.

and yes, I do plan on finishing it and posting it - probably even a 2nd WIP later today. (I've been packing for a big move and its consuming most of my time)
    You're welcome Defiance.
I look forward to it and I'm always glad if I can encourage or inspire.
  11. Congratulations to the happy couple and that is a really cool present Psy, nothing like custom gift art to mark the occasion.
  12. The two in the upper left. The long haired female who looks to have 6 eyes (or they could be brow spikes) and the one with a segmented tail.
What I'm even more curious about is if the bad pun (my favorite kind ) I got from your image was created intentionally or not?

P.S. I'm glad you found inspiration in my thread, thanks for mentioning that.

It's almost too bad it wasn't "one bonus point for every correct guess" for the artists rather than
"correctly guessing gives points to the competition" or I would submit my answers. I honestly think I got them all except one.

    Good job all!
Not only are you in art but your whole trio is present. I had as much fun figuring out who all the
characters are in Airhead's piece as I did solving his puzzle. Think I got the people lying in ambush figured out except for two.
  14. This latest piece almost reminds me of classic Wassy Artz.

Bit of an exaggeration but yeah far too many people aren't aware it's not very effective to just squirt it on your hand, rub for a few seconds, rinse and dry. 30 seconds or better is good advice.

While you're at it wash the towel you dry your hands on and sanitize the keyboard, mouse, doorknobs and any other surfaces you touch frequently. Get well soon Cami.

    Muse Arts

You are? Oh well guess you don't get to sit on Santa Caemgen's lap this year. He'll be so disappointed.

Oh and have fun trying to pack them for shipment... I had two pet ferrets a while back and even though it'd be easy
to get them in the box (they love to explore so just try and keep em out of an open box) good luck on
finding the packing tape... or your roll of stamps... or your car keys for that matter.

    They tend to borrow stuffz.

    Welcome to the bes...
    curses foiled again.

Welcome aboard Ash I'm looking forward to seeing more cool artz.

Oh and by the way here's a great thread where you can pick up some tips and tricks in Photoshop (and other digital art programs),
and there's also a thread for collaborations if you want to team up with other artists here on a piece. Cheers.

Welcome to the fold! CR serves drinks on sunday. =P
I have half a case of Bawls in the fridge, Party Tiemz!
  17. Some very interesting and diverse puzzles here, have fun people.

Edit: because OP was changed/corrected and so as not to spoil anyone else's guessing fun.
I will not post any of the answers or participate, but just watch from the sidelines for this one.
  18. 7 posts in and already more than half the participants fail to read/follow rule #2 of 3.

I went with Shieldara in her blue suit as I think it comes closest to what you are looking for.
Thanks Twizded for holding another contest (and posting it in the 606 this time ) and good luck to everyone.

P.S. Two things I don't think you addressed Twiz...
    1. Can we have a different costume/character drawn as a prize from what we post here if we win?
    2. You mention one entry per person but you also say that the contest will have many days
so is it one entry per person each day or one entry per person for the whole contest?

It sounds like you want only one entry from each period but I'm asking just in case because all the contests I've had that were one entry
per person if there was more than one day/round I let everyone try again the next time too.
  19. Well I know she uses it in one of the official videos, perhaps a still frame of that. Not sure if there are any still pics of the attack floating around or if you could get one ingame that would work.
Someone here might be able to create it possibly as well.
  20. Welcome back Amerikatt!

Also if I am understanding this year's rules correctly I would say we are not down to seven artists at all.
With no eliminations until June we are technically still at nine competitors it's just a few people wont get any spendable
bonus points this month. *shrug* After June if anyone fails to submit a viable piece by the deadline then the number of artists would go down.

Until such time there is no reason to assume anyone is out.
  21. That looks pretty cool Hyper, did you make that?
What would really punch it up I think would be to get her soul storm attack on the bar since it's made up of long thin horizontal-ish bolts it should fit.
  22. Well the IT guy will be returning to a nice little surprise won't he.

Well the good news is that statement is only off by an Order
of Magnitude (and in the wrong direction).

First there have only been two months worth of votes (hardly sufficient to establish a trend) and second you're not trending less at all.
You went from 1 vote point in Jan to 10 vote points in Feb. If any kind of "trend" could be established from that data it
would suggest you're on target to get 100 vote points in March and destroy LousyDay's forum record.

    Fixed that for ya.
  23. Here is the thread Caemgen is referring too.
  24. So glad you like it Bru.
May it be the first of many!
