The red may be more authentic but I'm with Canine. The solitary red
element on a colorless backdrop is so very popular because it really does stand out.
Either way though nice work Tsumiju and I hope to see more of your stuff.

I saw a video from an inspiring portrait artist on youtube (speedpaint) and got inspired to try it out.
So I've been doing a project colouring something like that aswell. See how that works and stuff... also very good practice in using colours and shades... and for me to be more blunt with them *nods*.
Look what I got sofar! (well...there is more, but since it's a non-CoH related portrait (yet again), I figured I'd place the nose only *giggles*. Afterall... noses áre found in CoH
).
I still use my own technique though, but it was a really good start for me to figure out how to be more blunt with those shades
. Hopefully I'll be able to apply it on other projects aswell 
.
Anyhow it's a very fruitfull practice indeed!

Awesome! That's a lot of art and bio's to do in one big burst, congrats on finishing such a large undertaking.
Cami is till my favorite but I'm especially liking the art of Radpanda, Pyre Girl,
Sagitariat, SwiftFist, StrykerAD and Failitator-Mediator-Initiator.
Also did a little more work on the Cami sketch.

*grumble grumble* Caemgen has a predominantly feline face... closer to a lions snout and split upper lip than a human nose.
It's not anything unique to this particular piece per say, it just bugs me sometimes how many
commissioned artists completely overlook his major characteristics.
They often get the horns wrong too (though he seems more content to give people artistic
license with the horns and wings to see what cool twist they come up with).
I try to keep my yap shut when it's gift artz though.

Is Amerikatt going to be depicted as she is in-game (as a cat girl) or will she be a girl cat like she is in her artz?
Will probably need to make the guy in the chair taller if he is 8ft. Even sitting he should
be bigger than he is now. Otherwise looking good so far DD.

It looks to be a different variation on what I tried (with a better looking result), I'll keep playing around with it and see what else I can come up with.
Anything that can make a decent looking background quickly is good to know though, you should put a copy of that "mess" in the tips and tricks thread DD.
