Gratz on the new 50 Memphis! I'm considering asking her (Avi) to

For your first go this is impressive.
A few thoughts for improvement...
Some of the scenes, more so for the heroes, seemed to be a camera that is pointed
at someone who's just standing there. I wouldd suggest either have them doing
something (thought bubble/speech/emote)or shorten those segments a bit.
Love the song 7 Nation Army (even liked this sort of tripstep-ish version) and it was cool
to see people fist pumping to the beat but sometimes what is being said has nothing
to do with what's happening visually. Still not bad and I know it's rare to get
a perfect fit unless the video is made for that specific song but maybe
some different scene arrangement or a diff song would work better.
Some of the the text doesn't work well together, i.e.
"What will you choose? Aid the villains? (is aid a what in this context?)
Maybe instead "Which will you choose?" or if you must keep
the what then perhaps "What will you choose to do?" Aid the villains?
Also "Aid the villains" and "Save the world" don't really sound like opposing options (unless the villains
are out to blow up the planet) since one is a side-choosing and the other is an objective.
If you want to mention the objective maybe "Help save civilization? or bring it to it's knees?"
Or just mention the sides to choose from (do you ever really give aid
to villains? seems like something they would scoff at
)
with "Join the villains" + "Or aid the heroes"

Thanks, I should clarify, one leg has multiple breaks
the other has a sprained ankle and strained tendons.
The latest x-rays are looking good so I won't need surgery
or metal pins, it's mostly a waiting/rehabbing game at this point.
Knew DD was going to post vote threads here since
beginning of the year but I didn't know Alex was back and
posting a sketch thread in the all access area. I'll have to go check it out.

So I was away for a few months (broken legs) and upon my return I noticed it was pretty quiet in the,
usually busy, Art section of the forums. Pageviews are still happening but not much talking.
I'm wondering, did a bunch of people drop down to free play? Leave to try other stuff?
Do new players even know there is a section for player made/commissioned art?
I (and several others there) do contests from time to time and give away
free art of the winners characters as prizes and I'm considering having another
as soon I am better recovered but I'm wondering if there will be enough interest in that?
My last contest had art from the talented Baquitania as the prize,
results for it should be going up in a few days time.

I like the look of that too.
Not sure how it would fit in with the
colors/theme but if it blends in nicely I would be all for it.

So first drawing in a long while and DD, being awesome as usual,
laid down some nice colors. *click for access to much larger version*
If anyone feels up to the challenge the vines/thorns could use
some color and I think Belladonna's outfit should be more purple-ish.
Also a basic background could be added, nothing too busy that would clash with the
stuff in the foreground but maybe some blue sky with a few clouds or some greenery could be tried.

Oh I know people take breaks to play other stuffz and that there are lulls or times of declining forum
interest but now that I'm recovering I'd just as soon see the artz section a bustling hub of creativity again.

You mean the simplified cartoon style (barrel chest, skinny waist and knees,
popeye forearms, one color, one shade, one highlight)?
That shouldn't be difficult to reproduce with your namesake at all.
Just about anyone with clean cartoon linework could do it I imagine.
As for peeps here, off the top of my head Liz (syrusb) has drawn some really nice
Gargoyles stuff in the past. MsLumina/Ferreter can draw in a style very close to that too
(see her comic cover here). Also there's Agent Foo and Camille who I'm pretty sure are for hire.
DD, 8Baller or Flash Rains I bet could too, though I'm not sure if they are open for commissions atm.
