    Pimp my ride!

Blue and light blue stripes when I get that kind of money...

    [/ QUOTE ]

Replace 'light blue' with white, and tint the window really dark. Also, add a very thin yellow stripe running down the center as well, and you'll got a badass Element.
  2. Pff... I am in no way affiliated with Pokemon.

    Also, disregard this.
  3. One vote per person. Each of your votes that were placed on the top of the list were counted.
  4. AAAAAAAND VOTING HAS BEGUN.

Here, ladies and laddies, are our seven entries:

    Roxstar
    Draco Templaris
    Karen Kenobi
Trace The Rat. Sounds like something I'd hear in a children's book.
    CodBreaker
    Afarias
    Mica FADSHFREHTOIRAJTHSFJ or whatever.

Say who you want to win in your post, 3 highest ranked costumes get the prize of... Something. Maybe another drawing by LJ? Maybe a very small drawing by me? Who KNOWS!?
  5. Last day! If you have any designs you want to enter in, enter them in now, or forever hold your piece... er... peace.
  6. Well, that was going to be the final design, but I ended up picking up a pair of Winged boots on a mission, and, having seen them once before, I knew they could perfectly fit the character conceptually. Therefore, I gave them to him.

    The supposed final design.

What do you think? Should I go along with it? I'm REALLY low on money because of the ingredients the part required.
  7. OMG! DO U REALIZE HOW MUCH OF TEH PEOPLE HERE ON THE FORUMS R FRUM 1-2 MUNTS?

    ...

Don't ask why I just said that. I think my mind just did a triple back flip and landed on it's head.

Have you tried the padded armor option? The one with the segments? That's a really killer set of armor/texture, I think. I don't know if it'd go with the toon though. Not sure about the spandex on a Hellion/Paladin, really, that's why I say. You've got a thing for those armor gloves and boots eh?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I've tried the padded texture. It just is too modern.

I use those armored boots/gloves, because they are the only armored gloves/boots that allow more than 2 colors on a default color scheme. What I mean is that the texture Armored Plate has a matching coloring scheme allowing for 2 colors.

I know I'm using a bit of spandex here, but I personally think the armor would've made him look too bulky. Honestly, what I'd really like to see are some more armor types that are more accurate to medieval styles, but oh well. I work with what I got

I was going for something that looked sort of like a Knight Templar. Nonetheless, I'll delve right back into COH and figure out if I can whip up anything more unique with Demon here.
  9. Basically, people can enter anything that flows in the wind as a costume in this edition, and pass by. That includes trenchcoats, which are gotten only after 3 months, and can be put onto any character.
  10. Yes, even I need some inspiration/judgement of my costumes from time to time. Demon's Redemption, past Hellion member and Voluntary Paladin, needs to get a new costume, since it's remained the same practically since I started playing him. He just needs a bit of a change of pace.

So that's why I devised this costume for him. I think I fancy it, but It just seems a tad too similar to the costume of my tanker, Diamondgard. So I need a bit of reassurance here. Should I get the new costume for Demon's Redemption, or keep my current outfit?
  11. I personally love the idea. In my opinion, the system of making the missions and maps should be... Well, honestly, very flexible with a bit of difficulty thrown in on the side.

I say this, because that will dissuade lazier, less motivated users from using the system to make their maps.

I'm pretty sure this can work, because most of the mods for the TES games are rather well done, or at least the ones that add new zones and the like.

Otherwise, there should be a counter for the different missions on how many people have played it, and how highly it has been rated.
  12. Keep the costumes rolling!

Dag nabit, at this rate, there won't be a contest!
Well, In that case, I'm extending the deadline to Monday. Of course, this is due to the lack of entries, but don't worry. It's also due to personal reasons, because I'm heading down to Providence, Rhode Island to visit my sibling in college. Judging will take place on Tuesday, results posted on Wednesday, blah blah blah.

Yep, so continue making those suits, guys!

Well, I'll be damned. I didn't even realize that was exactly what your guy were wearing.

Oh well. He fits the criteria dead on!
  14. Ladies and Gentlemen, Old and new, welcome to the 2nd weekly costume contest!

Woah, hold on, what is this!?

This... Is a costume contest...! You send in pictures of a hero, and I'll evaluate them. There's a total of three winners for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions, and an indiscriminate amount of honorable mentions, if applicable.

So, how are you going to judge how good our costumes are if we can't show them to you?

Oh, but you can! See, all you have to do is press the PrntScrn key on your keyboard. It's just above the insert key, shortly up-right of the backspace key. Use it to take a picture of your costumed hero, and post the picture here on the internets and in this thread!

There's gotta be some sort of limitation or something, right?

I suppose so. Unless they begin to show up on the higher ranking costumes in the contest, you can use any invention/veteran/premium costume parts. Keep powers off for your main picture, so I can clearly see what your costume looks like. Finally, because I want to twist things around, I'm going to place a weekly theme for the contest. Costumes that do not fit the theme criteria will not be included in the judging.

Alright. When do we need to have our costumes in by?

Get them in by mid-day Saturday. The costumes will be judged then, and the results of the contest will be posted on Sunday.

And now, let the contests begin!

This weeks theme is: Create a costume incorporating the following things:

Any shade of brown, as well as any other colors you want.
A cape (Sorry, People who are level<20.)
    Tucked-in style lower body.

Once again, submissions are due on May 19th by 3:00 PM EST, and results will be displayed on the 20th.
  15. What kind of brute? What bodytype? What powersets? What origin?

I can help you, no doubt, but I'll need a bit more information to get a good foothold on this dilemma of yours.
  16. Voting done!

    Results:
    C. Dragon- 0
    C. Insp- 5
    RStar - 3
    Radiant - 4
    Rdud- 0
    RobZomb- 0
    GraeBliz- 1

There you have it. 1st place winner is Crimson Inspiration! Hopefully, if I can get contact with LJ and tell her who to draw, then you should receive a drawing of your winning design!
2nd place goes to Radiant Thunder, who should receive a sprite of the costume!
3rd place goes to TFFODDDBRSACNBGRBRXITLSIEEHRERHEEROIAS by Roxstar, who... Well, I'll try and get a prize done for him. He definitely needs to win something for getting 3rd!

And that's all, people! This has been the First Weekly Costume Contest! Tune in... Tomorrow...?... for the next round!

    Free Drawings!

    Try Green Regis! In sig!

Of course, he's not very green anymore. More reference shots can be seen here , though he is green in this shot.
  18. Servo, your vote has been counted for Roxstar.

Yeah, I should've clarified: Only one vote per voter.
  19. This is the voting thread for The First Weekly Costume Contest! Unfortunately, on a very short notice, I was forced to move the deadline back a full day, because of a BBQ I ended up having to attend this Saturday, and nobody really told me until today. Anyway...

The voting system is like I explained it in the Original Thread: My personal favorites will get some extra votes in a poll in which you, the people, will determine who wins this competition of artistic tailoring!

    Here's our Entries!:
    Crimson Dragon - By BlackberryThorn
Crimson Inspiration - By Powerforge. Personally Rated as 1st place by me, and thus gets a +3 to the vote count.
The Fearsome Fireman of Deathly Disposition, Kindly named by Green Regis, and has an impossibly long name because of Roxstar's Indecisiveness of what he should name his costume design. - By Roxstar. Personally Rated 3rd place, and so gets an extra 1 vote tacked on.
Radiant Thunder - By DracoExMachina. Personal 2nd place, and thus gets an extra 2 votes tacked on.
    Red Dude - By JohnnyKell
    RoboZombie - By CybinMonde

Grae Blizzard - By Grae Knight. He didn't quite use the correct visor, but I'll let that pass.

Right. So, post your opinion on who you should think should win. By Sunday, the votes will be tallied up and the 1st prize winner will be commissioned an art piece from Lady Judgement! 2nd prize winner will be commissioned a sprite by me!
