I think PUGS are entertaining.. ive met lots of super cool people from them and its how i was intorduced to BMT and to these forums. Its also how i became interested in running events as well. Ya' Ive had a few sucky pugs.. but it was before BMT. IMO the majority of people on BMT play with a certain respect on teams.. you dont get a lot of idiots from PUGs put together from BMT.. However, I dont consider the people i have teamed with from BMT to really be PUG people.

I too, questioned AOW's participation in this event, i even said it vocally in broadcast. I had dave on my team and can vouch that it was ran cleanly and above board. I wouldnt have remained on the team had that not been the case.. i will admit though, it did make me uneasy... simply from the other teams view point.

As slacker pointed out, this event was intitally geared ONLY to sg's.. It was also scheduled for a saturday evening at 4pm pst / 7pm est.. making sure you have 8 people on in your sg, at that given time, is difficult at best.. thats PRIME TIME, on a saturday night, during the summer..I can certainly see why this would be hard to achieve.

As he also has pointed out: "My RL Friend SG has 4 ppl in 3 that have 50s and only that was on during the event - Sorry last I heard it was SG only not PuG so why show up to it when I could do something else with others on the server."

This is what our sg's issue is. We're small. As are A LOT of other really good sg's. The way this event was originally slated, it was ONLY geard to the LARGE sg's.

The Champion Community doesnt just consist of large sg's. And lets face it, just because you are in a SG doesnt mean you like some of the people in your sg let alone want to spend time on a team with them.

Now Felecia, this isnt me taking your remarks about how pathetic all other sg's are (your words) personally.. but again, as was the blanket remark about BMT wrong.. i think this is a pretty bold, incorrect, blanket statement.

Its my hope that this thread dies soon. I dont think this animosity towards other sg's is going to solve anything and in the end its only going to alienate even more people.

No, this isnt a reason for me to open up my sg to any tom,dick, or harry and no its not right of me to ask people from other smaller sg's to jump ship to join us for this event (both of those were posed to me as questions). Fang, In particular, has a lot invested in HIS sg and for him to drop and join us would mean him losing all the prestige he's earned over the 4 or so years hes been playing. To some, it's not "just a #".. I know its not to any of us. So for that reason, he's excluded.. Spartas Finest, another example of a sg that cant participate.. and they have some kicka** players.

I withdrew from my own event this past Tuesday, just to not EXCLUDE anyone from participating. (Netminder withdrew as well, we were over by 2 people)

Its not a series, you can compete 1 night, 2 nights, all nights.. the payouts are weekly.. not at series end.

Ya, im actually thinking of that now.. and yes, infamy is an issue.. im not a hard core red side player, so.. ya know, mama's wicked poor that side.

If you'd like to donate for something i'll make sure everyone knows (when its ran) that the $ came from you.

teams are going to picked playground style and having a mixed team will make the team entry fee's and winning payouts an issue.

Task Force Tuesdays!
Ok.. Now for some details.

The format will be a lil different for this session of TFT’s. We will be picking teams playground style. In addition to this change we’ve decided to have an entry fee..ahh, an entry fee you say? Yes! Yes I say! Here’s why…

We’ve decided to sweeten it up a bit and really make this competitive… Each team member will pay a 5 mil entry fee to their team leader.. The team with the best times, wins-it-all.. IN ADDITION to winning the entry fee’s from the other teams you’ll also win 50 million inf donated to the pot from myself and Fanged Knight. EACH WEEK.








Now for the finer print.

• Team leads will be determined early on.. last session of Task Force Tuesdays we had pretty much the same team leads.. hopefully these same people will step up and continue to lead.. if not, psh on them. I’m sure they will though. (right right?) If anyone wants to step up to be a team lead, send me a tell @cherry-2000 and I’ll add you in. You’ll be picking your own team, from those that have come , collecting /paying out the entry fee’s /winnings. I’m going to bump the time up to 6:30pst/9:30 est., to allow time for teams to be chosen. Please, if you are going to join, zone in as early to the time as possible so we don’t have to delay or waste any more time than usual.

• If you’re playing on a toon that doesn’t have the entry fee, that’s ok.. I’m sure you have a higher lvl toon with the $ and can log it on after the tf.. and if you try to skip out on paying it.. I know people in low places that like to break knee caps.

• Team leaders will pick play ground style… meaning.. You pick, I pick, you pick, I pick.. etc etc down the line.. We will determine who goes 1st using either the “roll dice” emote or the “rock paper scissor” emote.

• Come on the toon YOU want to play. The toon you come with is the toon you’re stuck with. Once you’re on a team, you CANT change to a different toon to better suit the team makeup.. That’s up to the team leader to pick a good solid team.

• You’ll have to take a screen shot, of the time completed box, with the team lined up in the shot.. just for verification purposes.

Each week, TF’s will be posted the Friday before so you can plan ahead. This session of TFT's will last 5 weeks. 8/25 - 9/1 - 9/8 -9/15 and the finale on 9/22

The finale to this session of Task Force Tuesdays will be the MoSTF. The team that completes this the fastest AND gets the badge will win an additional 200mil inf . Clearly this is a MoSTF.. no badge, no prize.. time doesn’t matter at that point. If no team completes the MoSTF challenge, then the best time will still win the entry fee $ just not the 200mil inf prize.


1st up on the list of Task Forces:

August 25th : A speed ITF AND a speed Lady Grey (hero's only). Times will be combined to determine the winner.
