And as a final note, YOU are the only one whining about the quality of events and the general community on this server, and YOU have made it your God-given right and duty to save the Champion server from itself by coming down from on high and gracing us lowly mortals with AOW's presence and scheduling all kinds of crazy events that do nothing to promote whatever it is you're claiming to promote. We're doing just fine, thanks for the concern, and you can keep whatever it is you call common sense.
The real community of Champion knows what's what, and they don't need us pointing out the obvious, but why let that stop some folks from having some lulz on the forums?

I wouldn't be opposed to helping out with or leading a second Hami raid per week. It's true that over the holiday season I'll be busy, but come January, I'll probably have the time, I just don't know *when* that will be. I'm going to be moving and starting my hospital rotations, and they've given me no set schedule as of yet. Once I know what my hours are I'll be able to give you a better picture of when I'll be available.
My guess is that folks might be busy during the holidays as well. You might want to wait until the new year to start planning 2 raids per week.

I know this has been discussed a lot in the past and shelved for various reasons..
I spoke with Amy about a mid week Hami raid and she said it would fall on others to get it up, she's very busy and couldnt solidly commit..
So that led me to a convo with Angie and Nibs (and Cam) and they're on board with the idea.. so.. here we go..

Each server will be represented by a Hero, Heroine, Villain, and Villainess, who will have a chance to become the City of Heroes Mr. and Ms. Paragon City and City of Villains Mr. and Ms. Rogue Isles!

Judging Times
The following are the specific times for faction and gender. Your character must be in Pocket D for judging. The times are the same for all servers.- 9:00pm EST - 9:45 pm EST -- Male Heroes
- 9:45pm EST - 10:30 pm EST -- Female Heroes
- 10:30pm EST - 11:15 pm EST -- Male Villains
- 11:15pm EST - 12:00 am EST -- Female Villains
Prizes
All server winners will receive gold titles that will last for 6 months.
The four grand prize winners will receive in-game gold titles that will last for 1 year and their choice of 1 costume code per overall winner from the codes listed below.- PPD Hardsuit

Contest Rules
Note: Judges for individual server events will not be representatives of that server.- Any Hero or Villain may enter.
- No member of PERC may enter.
- The winners of the finals will be representatives of their respective games and should personify that game.
- Huge body type heroes/villains will be determined to be male. Monster heroes/villains will be determined male or female by body type, and/or name and biography if necessary.
- Judging for the contest will be scored for costume and creativity. The final contests will be based both on costume design and on a short series of interview questions. Interview answers will be judged in the finals only. Costume scores will be formulated the same way in both individual server contests and finals.
- Judges have the right in the event of a tie to refer to character biographies and how they apply to the character concept.
- Interview answers will be judged in the finals only. Interview questions will be available to answer online after the last server competition judging is complete. A link to that site will be made available to our finalists at that time. If you do not complete the questions you will not be allowed to participate in the finals.
- Character screenshots of the finalists must also be submitted by January 1st, 2010 by 12:00am (midnight) EST. This is to ensure that in the unlikely event that one of the judges is unable to make it to the finals judging, the finals will still continue as scheduled.

I've been on cox nearly 18 months and in that time ive been to numerous events that were held in pocket D just so vils could come.. ive held 2 events there personally so vils could come, and I think Ive had a grand total of 5 show up.. and 3 of those 5 were blue ppl that switched over.
Its not that we dont wish to include vils, its that vils never show up.. huge difference. As Dazz pointed out, PERC had a halloween event there, just so vils could attend, and they didnt.
We've asked a few hard core-ish red side players how we can get more to participate and the simple mathematics just dont support red side events on this server.
Given the nature of this event and the lack of vils that ever show up, we felt Founders had the over-all vibe we were going for.
We do have a lot of Holiday things planned and hopefully vils will come out in force and show us its not a waste of time and planning for future red side events.
