Ninja's all stand at range when you really want them to melee and then run off and agro everything in the room.
Robots all do range and get stuck in lifts
Thugs all do ranged attacks sept for the arsonist who runs in and dies.
Mercs all do ranged sept the medic who always runs in first and dies leaving your other mercs with no heals.
Zombies all shuffle around slowly and do ranged attacks when you want them to melee sept for the grave knights who agro everything in the room. -

Tried my mm today level 26 thug/traps. I was attacked by a blaster in SC he stood no chance in hell, he barely scratched me while I was in bg mode. I'm going to get some taunt powers next.

Thats right everybody copy Chelsea *sighs* -
i would seriously consider a 2nd end red in TP tho as invis+TP sucks alot of end.
I had an arguement with max about range over end reds in TP awhile backand i worked out you can get more range with end reds than you can with range.
RE: Synestra
Over here on Defiant theres a huge flood of spineys in sirens, probably 2 spineys for every stalker.Thens theres alot of AR/Devs so fly's not a good choice on my server
plus its not the best travel power to chase or escape with which is what Lux is after but each person has there own taste.
I personaly have a lvl 50 stalker with TP and can honestly say its the perfect PVP anoyer.. spineys hate it -

IIRC, the delay between teleporting and dropping from your hover is enough to interrupt your AS. So you'll want something a bit less interrupt-making.
[/ QUOTE ]
NEVER EVER TP next to a target because if the guy can see you your going to be a sitting duck in the time it takes for hover to drop off.
Better of to TP close and move in on foot anyway. -
I think the builds good and i don't see a problem with it.
The only thing i'd change is i'd put range on TP foe to give you an extra weapon and change a range on TP for an end reduxs as it uses alot of end TP'ing around a zone.
Oh i'd probably swap Phase shift for SS as SS is quite handy in RV.
As for Synestra's comments only about 1 in 5 heroes actualy take fly and i've hit flying targets with TP so it is possible (hit a defiance using blaster in the air with TP for a 1 hit kill)
Not many stalkers can hit a moving target unless you time it right.
If someone runs theres not much you can do to stop them in certain zones anyway.

and fly is king in pvp
[/ QUOTE ]
Not for villains it isn't .. theres far to many spine scrappers with impale that will make a flying stalker a sitting duck.
Then theres AR/Dev blasters and /TA trollers .. to many -fly powers around for my likeing. -
I've looked at ice/ice and its very tight.Dropping all the shields and frostworks means you 'could' take tough and with Arctic Fog and Scirocco's shield you get this :
Lethal Resist 52.5%
Smashing Resist 52.5%
Cold Resist 23.6%
Energy Resist 56.1%
Fire Resist 23.6%
Seems rather silly for a Corr dosn't it -

Tankerminds are fun for PVP.. pickup the presance pool - taunt and taunt all the peeps going for your pets first while in BG mode
[/ QUOTE ]
Dang, never occurred to me to get taunt
[/ QUOTE ]
Just remember your pets are your dullpain -
fire/dark is an AoE killer in PVE also ice/rad is good solo.
ice/kin,ice/cold,ice/rad are all good in PVP -

fire is mostly AoE's like fireball, fire breath,RoF where as ice is mostly all single target attacks with some holds.
I've played fire/kin and currently have an ice/kin and i can honestly say that /kin dosn't help fires/ bugger of a long recharge time on attacks much
Fire/kin seemed really hard to solo to compared to ice/kin as it seems quite end heavy. -
I'm not to up on fire/fire myself but i would of thought its main weakness is its lack of a lvl 38 power like unstoppable etc and its resistances altho it does have a good heal.
-
Yep sorry some have missleading info on them unless you look in your badges.
High pain threshold just says 'increased by 10' but if you look in your badges it says by 10%
Marshal also says 5% increase in end.
Invader 10% -
Remember also most accolades are just 5 HP extra not 5% extra

as we talk abou regen, does resilence worth it when everbody in PvP have damage that are most of time energie, or ice kind?
[/ QUOTE ]
Just to translate : is resilience worth it when everybody in PVP has damage which most of the time is energy or ice.
My Answer : Yes it is as with energy its not just energy damage alone its smash/energy same with 'most' other powers.
Couple Resilience with tough from the fighting pool and thats roughly 20% S/L resist which will go along way to improving your surviability. -
If you don't use 2 acc in attacks and 3 tohit in rage you can't do all the fun stuff like slapping hurricane off of storm controllers and chewing up SR scrappers
-
If your gonna make a brute you could atleast do a proper job of it.
-
Dominators are like fat chicks .. nobody wants to be seen on one.

I'm not so sure about what max said about 'Def based sets make it easier to re-hide' is really true in PVP or PVE as i don't see a situtation where this would be applicable.
For example if your PVPing your either A: scrapping or B: hit and running.
Now in scrapping you'd be using placate mostly or using some other DEF boosting power/insp to improve your defence as to not get hit as the standard DEF isn't good enough for PVP to scrap with.
Hit and Running on the other hand would mean you striking then leaving the area to rehide, some stalkers would use TP for example.
In PVE the same would apply.
You might AS a boss then scrap acouple minions or placate them .so i can't see anyone standing in a mob waiting for hide to re-apply except in the odd cases were a hold power is used in which case the DEF isn't really needed anyway.
So to sum up the only time DEF would be worth while is scrapping or getting close enough to AS avoiding AoE's etc and in todays PVP zones 40% DEF is no match for the high ACC most players slot for.
just my 2P worth. -

Though SR is a good set for Stalkers. Unlike Nin it does not provide Confuse/Fear Resist, but therefor has Slow Res, which is nice as well.
[/ QUOTE ]
SR does provide Confuse resist, fear is its only mez weakness (well, of the main mez effects used).
Also, SR has Quickness, 20% recharge buff IIRC, thats got to be worth something for the recharge of ET and TF.
[/ QUOTE ]
Practiced Brawler dosn't give confuse res so where is SR getting confuse res from ? Disorient, hold, immob,KB,Sleep no confuse

I've no idea what the fixation with fly and air sup is with ss/elec, for PVP fly is the worst travel power going for a brute and theres no need for air sup as theres plenty of knockdown in SS as it is.
As for shield slotting heres some maths for you
3 shields no end reduxs 0.130 X 3 = 0.390 EPS
3 shields 2 end reduxs each 0.74 X 3 = 0.222 EPS
All that = more smash = more fury = more damage.
Pre lvl 35 you'll want as much end as possible.
For PVP its even more important.
Grounded
its 11% neg nrg 14% NRG 3 slotted not 4%
Altho the 3rd slot gives only 1% neg NRG 1% NRG so is only worth 2 slotting. -
it makes my eyes burn !
Depends what you want it for but i'd defo take aidself instead of tough as that thing will make your life a living hell with end and aidself gives a better percentage res in the long run.
i wouldn't slot powersurge with acc/dmg as when you have your downer you lose all end and health so if it misses and it will your dead meat..3 recharge 3 res for pvp 3/2 for PVE.
i'd also slot attacks 2 acc but thats me.
lighting fields sucks mucho end for very little dmg .. do ya really need it ?.
don't need both powersink and conserve .. powersink alone will do.
don't need recharge in footstop either .. quick enough with hasten...more dmg plz same with KO Blow -

EM/ninjitsu would be my choice as theres alot of fear around and the heal is tasty
