I didn't bother with it this year, then again, I just haven't playing as much lately. I was more busy than normal for the holidays and some new toys have taken some time away of CoH.

The thing is with a PG-13 rating is that, to me it feels like they're holding back. It really is just a minor gripe at this point, the movie is supposed to be aimed for a younger crowd than I. You can't market the movie as well if it were rated R. Could it be worse rated R? Sure, absolutely.
I just can't get past the Battle Royale comparsion. Implied deaths aren't quite as meaningful or impactful to me when you don't see them. When children have to sacrificed at the feet of a corrupt government in power, I want to be shocked, I wan't to feel awful. Feel being the key word there. I've heard from people I know who've read the book that some of the deaths are pretty gruesome. I just don't want to be dissapointed, the concept of the movie has got me really intrigued, I just don't want when the movie gets to that point to be...soft.
Either way, the trailer was awesome and it looks like it's going to be a good movie. -
I wasn't expecting anything great from The Hunger Games. (I haven't read it.) My first impression was that it would be a watered down Battle Royale with less bloodshed, less brutality. How would they be able to film a movie where children/teens as young as twelve, kill each other...especially in an American made movie. It didn't surprise me at all that it's gotten a PG-13 rating, which didn't help its cause to me but...., the trailer.... OH man, seldom do I get goosebumps from a trailer.

You could just shoot for 32.5% positional defenses, and bring lots of small purple inspirations. Pop a small purple and you're at the cap.

I mean not that I don't like a PvP mechanic that completely invalidates the buffing potential I usually wield in PvE but... ... ...no wait yeah I don't like that at all. Sorry, unless I'm buffing a Regen Scrap in Sirens, cus then I make them Jesus, good thing every Scrap is Regen or I might feel more useless than I already do. Oh well I guess making some powers useless is the only way for the Devs to please the people who aren't me and stop the whining... except people still whine.

Buyer beware with Howling Twilight IMO. I've been told, numerous times, to use this power. At base endurance cost around 32 endurance to use, I hardly call it a power to liberally use. Yes, it's a nice stun, but massively over costed.

As far as the problems with PvP as whole goes, this is the last thing needed to be fixed on the list of things why PvP is terrible.

If your concern is in the iTrials, Elude works just fine for me. Even just as a space to mule a LotG.

How about softcapped defenses, perma-hasten, and high DPS? -
If Recluse doesn't have anything to do with his death, I wouldn't want to be anywhere near him, he's going to be pist. I wonder if his ego could handle the fact that someone or something else killed Statesman.

Neutrino Bolt recharges quite fast on it's own, even before Hasten and AM so slotting it for recharge isn't so good. There are a lot of proc IO's you can slot on Neutrino Bolt but I definately recommed the Achilles' Heel: Chance for Resistance Debuff IO to help debuffs resistance even further on top your toggle debuffs.

I think Freitag needs a Grindhouse night. Too many people suggesting "good" movies. My buddies and I for the last three years have done a Grindhouse movie night nearly every weekend. Since the costume editor was updated for Freedom, I cannot find my Halo auras in the costume editor for the toons I've unlocked it for and I do not see it as an option to choose in the auras section.

I think I would have quit playing CoH if I hadn't started min/maxing some of my builds with IO's. (Also switching servers made the game more enjoyable...) That in turn, led to me building more toons. Building a perma-dom Dominator, or building some quirky builds, and giving it a shot with dipping my toes into PvP. By getting more out the toons I built, I got more out of the game.

If we're going by the numbers Brutes damage can exceed Scrappers in almost every primary they share, the exception is Claws where damage is identical to Scrappers.

Unless there is some kind of extra benefit for running at this proposed difficulty, why bother? There isn't really any real benefit at running at +4 anymore other than for more influence, but usually the only builds that can do +4 missions are the ones who have already pumped a lot of influence into their builds... so why run regular content at this difficulty?

Got me again Dechs. I rolled a BS/DA Brute, hopefully DA works better for me better this time around. I plan to shoot for 32/33% S/L/E/N defense and rely a small purples to stay at the softcap. But I do have a question, could or should I respec out of Parry later on in the build?
