Quote:As I said I have more money than I need, I have also said I know how to play the market well - actually I said I have played the market so well in another mmo the Devs thought it necessary to ban me for it.
So no, I don't need your advice, I don't need your money and I don't need your trolling. -
I'd agree that having the CoP Trial able to be formed via Team-Up Teleporter would be an easier and more convenient way to form the Trial. As someone who does not belong to any supergroups whatsoever, it would be something I'd be on board for. However, doing that would minimize the necessity and glamour of bases. I think the base building community is still waiting anxiously waiting for base raids to return and I don't think they want something else taken away from them. There needs to be some more practical uses for bases other than storage and zone teleporters, especially with all the QoL changes we've gotten recently; such as in-game e-mail for example.

I don't know if it was mentioned, but for me, there was always a certain nostalgia playing Diablo 1 as a kid, delving deeper into the abyss one level at a time, getting killed by Hell's endless horde of evil minions, wondering if I would ever face Diablo himself. Until by a stroke of luck I dropped The Grandfather Sword. Lord of Terror you've met your match...

Anyone notice the price of Numina's and Doctored Wounds set IO's the last few days? I can only imagine what this is doing to the cost the of the PvP healing set IO's.

Cool beans. Now I can play my Fire/Regen more.

So Emperor Cole/Tyrant has Dominatrix as his sidekick (among other things...) and Statesman has taken Desdemona as his new protégé. So I think it's safe to assume that no matter what reality Marcus Cole exists in... he digs chicks in leather.

Claws progresses nicely from early levels especially well, because you get Spin at level 6. From a min/max building standpoint, since you're looking at /Dark and /Elec as secondaries I would build it as a Brute. Either secondary power's damage aura would help to maintain higher fury levels, thus you'll be doing damage near or better than a Scrapper would and be much sturdier with more HP and higher resistance values. With the proper set IO's Dark Armor is near unkillable as they come in this game but requires a significant budget. Electric Armor provides a nice recharge bonus power in Lightning Reflexes that pairs well with your quick recharging attacks allowing you to double stack Follow Up with ease while the set as a whole is less endurance heavy than Dark Armor. Electric Armor is also a cheaper build with IO's compared to Dark Armor. If you're not looking to use set IO's or at best you're looking at a budget build, go with a Claws/Electric Armor Brute.

Ah! El Topo! Welcome to the boards. I'm a big grindhouse movie fan, so I love the name. Named for one of the strangest movies I have ever seen and really what was the movie that started the Midnight Movies in the early 70's at the Elgin Theatre that lead into films like Equinox, Night of the Living Dead, Pink Flamingos, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Warriors, and Evil Dead being made.
As to more on topic... I think the Behemoth Lords and Overlords are going to be jealous. -
I just assumed that they rebooted Star Trek to undo the damage that Scott Bakula did with Enterprise.

You can pair Willpower with any primary powerset. Making Willpower very newbie friendly. Also it's a secondary that doesn't necessarily need set IO's to be good.

Quote:Yeah that's it. They called it a rocket board in the magazine, but it's more like a hoverboard. You can see said hover board @8:03ish here: http://youtu.be/YMnt5XcbmE0

I was recently on vacation and snagged a September issue of PCGamer Magazine. I noticed a short article regarding City of Heroes and specifically new things appearing for Freedom. Stuff that appears to have already been revealed. CoT costumes, Titan Weapons (they show four titan weapon images), signature story arcs, and a... Rocket Board. All of which are purchasable content from the in-game store. Is the Rocket Board old news?

Not to mention the often underrated stacking slows that virtually keep foes in their place.

I haven't played with Kinetic Melee yet. I have a Dual Blades/Willpower Scrapper, Fire/Regen Scrapper, Claws/Super Reflexes Scrapper, Dark Melee/Shield Defense Scrapper and a Super Strength/Dark Armor Brute. So I'm kind of tired of building melee toons at the moment. But I'm thinking Kinetic Melee/Energy Armor for the next issue.

The over/under of the number of issues that character gets rezzed next issue starts at .5

I'm running using a nVidia GeForce GTS 250 video card on my computer on Windows XP. I've been experiencing blue screen crashes playing City of Heroes or for other normal computer uses like video on YouTube and the like. Anyway I've gone back to the previous driver (270.61) and it seems to be working fine now. I'll keep an eye on for a few more days since I've just got back from vacation. I was just curious if anyone else has been experiencing the same thing.

Maybe not the recipes but the salvage required to craft them will rise. I haven't bought a LoTG recipe or crafted IO with influence in a long time.
