I'm one of those weirdos that prefers playing Brutes. Even worse, I'm one of those weirdos that prefers Fly or Super Jump instead of Super Speed. Until Issue 19, none of my characters even had Super Speed or stealth. Now with inherent Fitness, I've managed to work them in to my builds at level 49. But that leaves my characters 44 levels without super speed and stealth.

When I'm exemplared below level 45 and on a stealth mission, I don't want to be dead weight and door sit while everyone else on the team is stealth rushing to the last room. If I'm on a Brute, I leave my taunt aura on, and Ninja Run to the last room of the mission to catch up with the rest of the team, while trying to aggro as many mobs on the way as possible, and see how many I manage to pull to the last room with me. I essentially make a minigame out of aggro.

Does that make me a bad melee teammate?

I just had to cancel the weekly Rikti mothership raids that I've been running on the Champion server for the past two years because of this. The zone is almost always full before we start. The lag has just become worse and worse to the point where it is no longer bearable for me. And yes, it is exponentially worse when pets are present, which is just about always.

Thanks to everyone that's come out and supported Thursday Rikti mothership raids over the past two years. Last night was the final Thursday Rikti mothership raid. The lag has just become far too brutal for the mothership raids to be enjoyable to me. However, that doesn't mean I'm giving up!

I will hold impromptu Rikti mothership raids at various days and times over the coming weeks to hopefully find a less laggy day and time to hold weekly Rikti mothership raids again. Assuming there is a less laggy day and time.

Would an Archery / EM Blaster be viable for Arena PvP? Yes, I know that Psi / EM is the "bees knees," but I want a Blaster that would be viable in both PvE and PvP, and I prefer weapon based sets anyway.

So, it seems that Sonic / Archery Defender is the best bang for the buck, so to speak. Hrm. Too bad about Snap Shot...

Eh. I soloed a Force Field / Dark Blast Defender from level 1 through 32, so I'm pretty sure I could solo just about anything.

I usually solo from levels 1 through 32, and then begin teaming. At level 50, I'd be almost exclusively on teams.

So, as the title implies: Archery / Sonic Corruptor, or Sonic / Archery Defender? Which would be more effective both solo and on large teams? Which would be more effective endgame?
