Wave 3 - 3 minute mark
Wave 4 - 6 minute mark
Wave 5 - 8.5 minute mark (Comes 30 seconds early)
Wave 6 - 12 minute mark
Wave 7 - 15 minute mark
Wave 8 - 18 minute mark
Wave 9 - 20 minute mark (Comes 1 minute early)
Wave 10 - 24 minute mark
Wave 11 - 30 minute mark
Thos timing are per the wiki page.
For sure the final wave is a longish wait (6 mins) and alwasy comes spot on the 30 min mark for us.
I certainly have no issues finishing this trial sucessfully, I haven't failed it in over 4 years. However thats running with experienced players usually with the core of the team from a single SG.
I see people, fairly frequently complaining in game that this trial is 'too hard'.
I knwo a long time ago (pre-buyout) the Devs stated a target 70% sucess rate for the trial was thir goal. I have no idea what the current rate is, but I am wary of increasing the difficulty of it based upon the ability of well oiled teams to get through with little or no issues. -
In addition the Set bonuses work when exemplared, just like purple sets.
-
The Slammer and the Hammer (and the revolver) do some very serious damage if you get some +damage buffs going.
-
We have 3 of those, available from Warburg.
Two of which for sure violate international treaties (Nuclear and chemical burn), the 3rd I am an 95% sure does (Bio Mutagens) -
Awesome, thanks Archie.
The new options are great -
1) Thats suggest the marketing ploy 'loyalty through thick and thin' has some merit
2) WoW hate is over done. Its a decent enough game, but for sure not my cup of tea. So any hate that comes, just let it pass. -
The last time I recall the West/East Split was the major hardware upgrades early last year.

Quote:In terms of the damage you do to them, or they to you this is essentially correct. Then i must i have misunderstood how gm scaling works. I have always thought they scale to vwhatever level you are.
In terms of some of their other factors, such as HP, this is an intrinsic property related to their 'level.
It is this reason why at Halloween, peopel tended to Hunt Eochai in lower level zones, Such as Talos to spawn a Jack rather than PI. The Eochai (Talos) was more vulnerable to debuffs and had lower HP than the Eochai (PI)
Winter Lords certainly used to have a similar effect, the AP/galaxy ones were much easier to take down. -
Data Chunk Incoming:
Code:The 10-25 number are based on a Pre-I16 analysis, I haven't added the increased xp/inf for lowbies into my sheets yet.Level Inf - No Sg Inf SG Recipes Salvage Total Drops 5 8 8 0 44 44 85% 10 12 12 14 44 58 83% 15 30 30 25 44 69 70% 20 35 35 76 44 120 77% 25 67 60 94 44 138 67% 30 147 74 155 44 199 57% 35 300 150 228 44 272 47% 40 624 312 343 44 387 38% 45 1067 533 801 44 845 44% 50 2006 1003 2056 44 2100 51%
Level - mob level defeated at even con
Inf No SG - inf dropped out of SG mode
INF SG - inf from defeat in SG mode
Recipes - inf from vendoring all Recipe
Salvage - inf fromvendoring ALL salvage
The percentage at the end is the inf earning from the drops, compared to the inf earned outside of SG mode.
Those are all vendor values
Taking a level 50 for example with the following tweaks.
Rare salvage sold at 500 000 inf (under estimate), common and uncommon at vendor rates
1 in 10 uncommon recipe sells for 1 million
1 in 5 rare sells for 2 million
Common recipes vendored
Those sale prices are a significant underestimate in both rate and price in todays marketplace.
That shifts the recipe coloumn up a touch to 2832, and the salvage up to 1459
Total drops is 4291, meaning 68% of the inf value of minion defeats is from the sales of the drops, rather than the raw inf.
(oh and for the full team situation its 46% of the inf per minion is from the sales under those conditions, just to have that comparison in here.)
And here is the key, if prices skyrocketed as long as someone is actively engaged in the market, and by that I mean selling their drops at the 'going rate' their income compenstates to a large extent automatically and without any chnage in behaviour.
That scenario above. Lets add a factor of 10 to the sold recipes.
1 in 10 uncomon for 10 million
1 in 5 rare for 20 million
Rare salvage for 5 million
Everything else still at Vendor rates
Recipes go upto 9858
Salvage to 14315
Total goes upto 26179
That is a direct earning rate more than doubling. Now how far this extra inf goes depends very much on your spending habits, versus the fixed costs of SO/common IO it goes further. Cheaper sets for frankenslotting is the same.
It is only if you slot heavily with the 'inflated' sets, that your inf doesn't go as far. -
My Necro/dark would do this solo, was simple carnage.

I have both AR and Archery at 50, and in no way shape or form is AR outclassed if nothing else for this simple reasons.
Rain of Arrows, is an awesome power but if a team is rolling it basically very hard to use effectively, unless you operate ahead of the team.
Full Auto, select a critter in the middle of the group and go, damage starts immediately.
I play either depending upon the mood, but the AR guy is certainly easier to use and more effective on most high level teams I play on. -
I doubt I'll have more than a few hours in game over the 4days.
I'll be playing for XP on a few lowbies not marketeering this time. -
PVP IOs I can see a large rise, but the recent trend is down
Purples, spiked highly, but with folks being out of the AE, the prices are coming down, and pretty fast.
What exactly has gone up so fast and has not shown signs of coming back down ?
Most set IOs I slotted since the AE came out were actually cheaper to buy than before. -

Quote:With the greatest possible respect to Heraclea, that analogy is an exaggeration, in fact I'd even go as far as to say a wild exaggeration, and can safely be passed over.Anyhow, I'm not advocating in favor of anything, or complaining about anything. I'm more trying to anticipate. I could be wrong, but I suspect that the devs are not entirely pleased that our in-game currency is being compared to Zimbabwe's. I suspect that they would like to see the numbers made smaller while the actual wealth stays the same.
Prices routinely doubling in under 24 hours (as in November 2008 in Zimbabwe). Not here, not by a long shot. -
I have been running quite a lot of council in Grandville papers +0/set for 6.
This gets bosses about every other mob on CoT and Carnies, but I haven't seen a council boss apart from the mission one -
Whips have been hinted at as being 'related to' Demon Summoning by BABs.
Wait to see what GR brings. -
3 recharges in resurrect is a little overkill.
Id suggest moving one to regen aura, and then add at least one range to recall, if you go to the Shard for the TFs -
Defenders and controllers have single AT Master STF on live to my knowledge

Unless via a bug, there will be no-one with this badge.
Each successful run of the CoP got you an item of power.
IIRC the maximum a SG can have is 5, and you can't delete them.
Ergo the maximum legitimate progress from the single cycle the Cathedral was active will be 5/20
If the Cathedral ever comes back, the whole system will be overhauled and thus some of the details known right now maybe in error. -
Quote:Though a good part of that was the increase in inf creation.didn't we learn our lessons when all people were doing was farming AE tickets? prices rise.
i would rather have the infl/inf to prestige exchange improved to create a better infl/inf sink.
If you are removing inf by the creation of tickets there would be a difference. -

Quote:Stalkers power do tend to be tweaked a little.Sorry, this might be a bit off topic, but I don't want to start a new thread for it, and it does involved Broadsword.
Head Splitter for BS Stalkers accepts Melee Damage IO sets. On my Scrapper it was PBAoE. Is this working as intended, or did they change it around for Scrappers too?
Eviiscerate (claws) became single target such that the stalker can get the critical from hide. I believe headsplitter got the same treatment (and Mids suggests this), but I dont have a BS Stalker to confirm
