the point is to encourage you to list low. If you need to relist you obviously priced too high.
The reasons are many fold but here are just two easy to understand ones:
1) provide a constant deflationary pressure, through low listing
2) act as an influence sink -
Debuff and Buff cannot be seperated like that.
Almost all defender priomaries (and corr/troller and MM secondaries) are a combination of buff and debuff inside of one set -
Uber and Fourspeed have the main reasons covered.
I'll be contributing my own data at some point, right now I'm stealing a few mins online and that may well be it for the next few days.
My wife just had a minor op, and now needs some tlc and that obviously takes priority.
I have one person PM me some data, and I'll present a cleansed summary. If anyone else wishes to go that route, I'll be happy to add your numbers anonymously. -
One of the SGs I am in keeps an inventory of various IOs.
The most used ones are 15 (for better than DO) 25 (SO time) 35 (for the rest of the career).
So much so that after a about a year we eliminated the others as they were just not being used.
Personally I start at 12 with commons IO, or cheap sets on just about every character. Either pulled from SG bins, crafted by one of my field crafters, or frequently bought for a steal in advance. -
Quote:The first thing I do with my fire/NRG is run upto them and send them flying with a punch. By the time they stand up from that, its just in time for them to fall down.Just how did you manage that ? Tried that street sweeping in pi today (antimatter arc) and they repeatedly handed me my head

Quote:Me too.I find it incredibly frustrating to reach a point where you aren't contributing anything to a fight at the end of a TF because you brought a damage-dealing character with the wrong damage type.
I do think that when a character is literally contributing as much to the team effort by boomboxing 30 feet away, as they are when doing their utmost, it is just a bad design decision.
Despite many discussions like this, it appears that the Devs have a different point of view. -
adn yet the Devs are fine with 100% resists for NPCs
Statesman, The Honoree, Reichsman, Citadel ... -
Please note that sheet hasn't yet been updated with the I16 changes.

Based on the open testing, some of that information may yet chnage. -
I think the nearest we have in game right now is Dark blast
Dark Blast
Moonbeam
Blackstar
are all up front damage
Gloom
T Tentacles
NightFall
Are DOT
Dark Pit, torrent and Life Drain are utility powers with minimal damage.
(Though to be fair lfie drain is the same base dark blast, just a longer animation and would tend to be slotted for heal) -
Quote:MoM doesn't have an especially high regen. She has high damage resists to a lot of damage types. Lethal being the one she is most vulnerable to.Storm lacks a regen debuff, which may be a problem on small teams vs. AVs or vs. stuff with exceptionally high regen like GMs and Madame of Mystery.
so the -res from strom is a pretty big help with her. -
In which case:

is the latest word, which is just 2 weeks ago. -
Quote:I have certainly have no issue with folks reporting what the stuff they get sells for on the market, but the a)-c) should be considered the base data.Glad to see that Nethergoat talked you into Part II.
Perhaps a d) could be added? I know that a lot of stuff will get vendored anyway in b) (generic IO recipes, some of the common salvage that now is in abundance, and the poor-selling set IO recipes), but perhaps a footnote for the things that will get marketed. -
Whats 'wrong' with them ?
The only significant bug I am aware of is the Barracuda SF MM power, which has a fix on test. -
Of course a 2487 HP heal is overkill on anything bar a tank or a brute.
Scrappers/Khelds/VEATS cap at 2409 hit points, then its down to most squishies at 1606 hit points.
So the most any squishie is getting out of that heal is 1605 HP. -
My answer will be "you know I can't talk about that" to any question.
-
Sounds like fun, I may stick my neck out and participate.
Be totally non-FoTM, but probably a good target.
the downside I see is this
Quote:Starting at 12:30-1:00 am is going to be very rough for some of usSignups will be taken from 9:30 PM-10:00 PM PST on the date of the event in Pocket D.

I got the walls and ceilings complete, and most of the skirting boards done.
Painting isn't as much fun as double XP
(I did get 6 levels on my mercs/traps 35-41, a couple on my fire/kin and several scattered on lowbies) -
Outside of PvP, where tiny edges in performance matter.
the highest of the high, STF/LRSF (maybe the Recihsman SF/TF) is entirety runable with SO builds.
heck the LRSF arrived in I7, 2 whole issues before IO and as it was the only source redside for HO, it had to be completable with just SO.
The STF arrived concurrent with IOs, so the first runs through were indeed with SO/HO builds.
So for PVE content, IOs period are just not required. Helpful yes, but not required. -
The bottom end earnings for a level 50 are pretty well established from the prior thread, the ball park Figure of 1 million inf/hour for a non-solo build (such as a defender).
Now especially with the new slider settings we need to probe the top end. bring out your fire/kins, your fire/psi Doms, your SS/fire brutes and run maps as fast and as furious as you can.
In one hour of your chosen activity report:
a) Inf from Kills
b) Inf from sales (AT VENDOR RATES!)
c) Total Inf (a+b)
I'm not saying you HAVE to sell that prophecy for 5000 inf, but that is the inf brought into 'the economy' by the drop.
Extra info like what exactly was dropped and the like would be nice, but those are the key points.
I also suggest doing a /logchat and sending those to Archie for his collation into probing the exact purple/Pool C/D from bosses/ Costume drop rates, but thats not a requirement. -
Absolutely, Probe the high end rather than the low.

Quote:It was PPD Glue gun that got me interested in lolTA.-twitch-
We don't talk about the PPD Glue gun! Or Flashbangs!
I hate them. I really, really hate the glue guns. Locational AoE my skitt plate...
And CoT Ghosts! Asrghargarharg...was facing them on a team with my PB just now. God I hate them things. Good thing I picked up Dwarf Form the mission before. Trod all over them in the end. -
Been there done that myself, sometimes I catch it, most often I waste a charge
Good solid suggestion. -
And that's when the thread lost any minor usefulness

Bills point is
at +4 Shockwave is knockdown due to the purple patch.
You can judge for yourself how much less effective if it at mitigation as Knockdown.
