    Actually Villans have more arcs (most contacts have 2 arcs) but they tend to be shorter.

    Having helped my wife on a flashback version of Unai yesterday (23 missions long where we couldn't bring in friends who logged on after etc).

    I perfer more and shorter, others may not.

    1)There is no fence, the majority of players have access to both and play to their fancy.

    2) Scrolled back quite a few pages which confirmed my recollection. The folks asking for a lions share of new stuff are self-proclaimed predominantly red side players.

    I9, I10 and I11 was equal content for both factions.

    This trend will continue.

    As a slight aside Mr Kim owns ~27.4% of the stock, and the Garriot brothers between them own ~4.2% (Richard ~ 2.3% Robert about 1.9%)

  6. Its off the table becasue the implementation is flawed.

    For example a stalker who had clarity, had a hold effect applied, then had clarity reapplied would be momentarily held and have hide detoggled.

    That sound like a hero/villan issue ?

    If not they need to hand back their stalker cards.

    Pretty much covers what you asked for, maybe not in depth and deail, but forward looking statements are never that detailed until the nitty gritty has really been pinned down.

    Want the I12-14 Story arc spoilered this far in advance ? I'd suggest you would be in a minority for that.

  12. The only real levliing issue I see is the 35-40 range, but Im guessing there may a little more tweaking that just that.

    Double XP - meh. I'm not bothered much, but know they are popular, so good for those who liek it.

    Real numbers - Long, long, long overdue. Make sure they are kept accurate though. When the history of keeping power text upto date with chnages isn't exactly good, this is key.
    To me its better to have no numbers, than wrong numbers.

    Good stuff for (my assumption) the 1st Quarter, then onwards to I12.

  16. I have never taken FA so cant really comment.

    Heck these days I dont even pop GEAS for Mako.

    IOs have such a heavy emphasis on acc in sets generally, then global acc bonuses ontop. Its just not necessary for FA to be so high.

    I wouldn't be adverse to some scaling +tohit in Fury as long as its kept in decent bounds.

    FA should never have been more than twice as effective as tactics in the first place. Id have gone for a little over tactics (maybe 1.5times) at similar cost.

    IIRC as a comparison the pool armours with S/L resists are about 1.7-1.8 times the resistance of tough. (I have to check that and dont have mids here, so please correct if I am wrong)

    Single target blast
    AOE blast
    in all

    Dark
    then has hold and an AOE immbo (with damage)

    Weapons has a ST immob and an AOE slow (both with -fly and -jump)

    Body has conserve power/FA

    Blasters are even more alike
    Toggle armour (well Body armour isn't toggle)
    Couple of control type powers.
    Then another damaging attack.

    Force mastery being an odd outlier here again.


    Most of the APPs for a set are very simialr, and differ mainly in thematics.
    Its the odd one out that is the root cause of lot of the issues. (FA, Conserve power, Power build up etc)

    PPS need a tweak in my mind (some numbers are clearly off), but not a whole scale reworking.
  21. And lets not forget that outside of PvP, the Patron Pools are actually liked by some.

    Myself being one of them, and a few SG mates are even bigger advocates that I am.

    That voice is consitently shouted down in threads discussing it. Much as folks who thought ED may of had merit where shouted down in the threads pre-I6.

    Discussion on Patron pools have become very one sided because of this.
  22. Look at what has happened recent with level ranged focus:

    I-11 25+ content (Oroborus), plus new powersets and shinys (especialy for the highbies). Those who know what they are doing can access flashback content much earlier, but its focus is 25+.

    I-10 35+ content, really not much else. Invasions were for all levels

    I-9 Inventions which are basically for everyone (well anyone who fights level 4+ mobs). Rvemaped end game raids (Hami + STF)

    I-8 Level 15-25 heroside focus, but Safeguards for all hero ranges. Sundry Cotume and emotes. LRSF tweak.

    I-7 Level 40-50 villan focus. Mayhems for all villans. New MM, Brute and Stalker sets. Base changes, PvP changes (toggle dropping masisvely changed)

    Even when there has been a clear focused level range, the Devs have done a reasonable (IMHO) job of trying to spread the love around to others outside that range. Issue 10 was probably the worst issue since Cov launch in this regard. I dont know about anyone else, but we had a player return to the SG from WoW who didn't have a level 35+ character and felt very excluded at times as we all chased the new shineys in the RWZ. (Thankfully we got him there with an alt he really liked and ran him through the LGTF to a lot of eye-popping and WOW noises)

    I-11 and Oro has caused some teaming issues for sure ie log on 15 mins after most of the SG have started flashback and you cant join up, but certainly if people are running shorter arcs, well you solo for a bit, hit Wents or whatever, and hop onto the next one.
  23. We each have our own desires fro content.

    In the past I have called for a 'signature' TF/SF and a 'non-signature' TF/SF for both heros and villans for every 5 level range.

    Theres a couple of signature ones mising for villans, but both sides are missing a non-signature TF/SF for most of the game. (Yes Im auggesting CoV gets MORE form this than CoH)

    (For those who dont know a signature TF/SF spawns at the top end of the level range. Non-signature TF/SF spawn more like the respec trials)

    Thats a whole host of content for both sides. Add at least one TF/SF per issue according to some plan, and I can be patient.

    Such a huge additon of TF/SF content would be great for me, but would not a a big game changer for BillZ. However, as long as other content was to his liking then we would both be happy. Not everything is for everyone.

    An issue purely for villans would be just as daft in my mind as an issue purely for heros. Or an issue purely for level 50s, or an issue purely for level 1-10s.

    Spread the love, its the best way to satisfy as many paying customers as possible.
