I put a specific portion at the end of my description

I think I'll go back and add the explanations if I have room. -

Purples and the PvP recipes are a small volume part of the overall market.
They are the high priced end, and if there is one thing that history does tell us, the 'premium goods' like these will inflate faster than the baseline.
I don't have an issue with this.

Have a look at Common IO's, then.
You can be as snide as you like, but last time I went shopping there were few of them and they were far between. The prices for what was there were ridiculous. Why? Common and Uncommon Salvage both took supply hits too.
I have an issue with that.
[Edit: Common IO's and Common and Uncommon salvage represent the bulk of the market's volume. Any game design that compromises their production is a serious issue. That's incontrovertible.]

Im making a fortune selling common IOs crafted from memory and using tickets for the salvage. Once people realise how lucrative it can be, those will come back -

You forgot to say that increased drop rates for many recipes was just achieved through tickets.
The Devs do have control over factors that affect the economy, but to go as far as the OP suggest would just not be a good move. -
Its harmless enough of a request, and if it is easy, I'd say go for it. Different strokes people, some folks do care about their rank, so please be respectful of that.
I wouldn't want any significant dev time spent on it though.
And yeah reword so it isn't a petition. -
I went with A, but also grabbed salvage as needed if it was too much at Wents and sold the good drops as crafted IOs for a markup.

Awesome news. I dont STEAM myself, but know a lot of folks who seem to use it almost exclusively.

For me, and I know this sentiment is shared by some others I play with, the 'Endgame' content of CoX starts at level 40.
From 40 to 50 you can:
Prevent Crey and Nemesis opening a portal and unleashing Creatures from the Shadow Shard on Earth
Defeat a Demi-god (Ruladek)
Save a Demi-god (Faathim)
Defeat the madness that Shattered the Shard (Lanaru the mad)
Prevent a 2nd Rikti Invasion
Prevent the 5th Column from setting up a base of operations in the past
Stop Lord Recluse from drawing power from every Superpowered being on the planet
Arrest the Evil leader of Crey Corporation
Defeat not one but two Malta plots
Stop Nemesis (mutliple times *sigh*)
Prevent a Preatorian Incursion into our Dimension, including defeated their Statesman Equivalent
(and thats not even close to everything)
The one thing about any game, the true endgame really is just that. The End of the game.
On a side scroller you have defeated the final level and get a nice happy 'Game over' floating up.
In UFO enemy unknow, you travel to Mars and stop the incursions.
In Civilisation, you reach Alpha Centauri
In Panzer general you inavde the US, or in allied General you defeat the Armies of the Riech.
In 'traditional MMOs' you get into a raiding guild and grind for hours, for a chance of a loot drop. Only to be rigth back there the next day, or week doing the exact same thing. Right up until the next expansion, where you uber lewt is suddenly not the uberest and you go round the treadmill on a new raid(s). Not for me thank you very much.
Outside of 'infinitely' repeatable simple content (such as simple random missions) (ie. scanners/RWZ/Cim), the only way to get more content is to more people generating it, and doing so basically faster than people can play through it. The MA system, is another form of 'endgame content', and I for one am using it extensively to try out new stories and fresh oponents. -
I wasn't in closed for this issuebut I can say that direct purhcase of recipes via tickets was not in the open testing phase.

Have you run a 'lap' of the Storm Palace ?
Have you run all of the 3 Shard Task forces that keep you at level 50 ?
Do you have your Masters of the STF badge ? -

wait a minute there is a partiel server maintanence on tuesday where some stealth stuff could have happened on certain servers that have not effected the other half of the servers. I only notice that this morning when half the servers are in unknown status. this maintanence is also having the words "for maintenance and publish." the publish part of that may include some server side nerf to tivkets and since i am on pinnacle last night my tickets may not be effected

The split serevr downtime is related to the base corruption issue. Bases and supergroups are being individually rolled back to a previous save point. Thsi requires users to be locked out for data integreity reasons.
Its even posted in the announcements. -

The flight speed got buff but not the speed cap right? I Know that My lvl 50s are at the speed cap now, and before I14 they weren't.
[/ QUOTE ]
This is indeed the case, Catwhoorg has 2 level 50 flight speed enhacners in fly and some (3 I think) Microfilaments in Swift (for boosting both the run and fly speed). Prior to I14 he was just (about 1 mph) shy of the speed cap, now he is capped and the fly speed is blue in the combat attributes. -
EMPulse is just continuing the fine tradition.
New Community staff HAVE to breaks stuff. -
Flight and hover just got buffed in I14.

i have to go with Aett on this one. with a set maitenance time, everyne knows when the servers will go down. and i do have to agree that there are very few people at the hrs they have chosen. i've done 24 hr stints where i struggle at that time to find a team.

It has tekn nearly 5 years of the same maintenace schedule, and still at least once per week there is a post during about why are the servers down.
Hard though it is for our Australian and Kiwi cousins, Keeping it at a single set time is the best for bulk of people, and the easiest to explain to newbies. -
At least a 24 hour lock should be in place, though thats the short end of what I would think. 14 days may be pushing it a little far.
7 days would certainly be great. Keeps the arc in place for one week, such that even our weekend only players get a chnace. -
Im gueeisng it was one of the Dev's Choice on test that wasn't brought over to live as a DC. Republished on live it runs into the issue.

Tempest is an SGmate of mine, I'll point him in this direction to see what insights he can share.

Your personal info screen, badge tab has a total of all the badges.
Also seen if you get info on an ally and check their badge tab.
Its not broken down by sections, but the grand total is there -
I dont mind the map per-se, but I am seeing it being used a whole lot. Overexposure to the mpa is the issue.
The other one I see a lot of is the ruined AP, which has the double whammy of not having a functioning mini-map. Its my own over exposure to that map which has left me in a quandry, of using it in one of my own arcs. Its 'right' for story reasons, but I dont want folks to come in see the map, see the foes and quit with a 1 star. -
Any PvP kill in the zone or the arena has a chance to drop.
The chance is extremely low though. -
Upon the psychic plan is supposed to be 27, per Synapse's list.
The design is that Task/Strik forces reward merits at 2.5 times that of story arcs.
http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Merit_Rewards gives the equation used. -
I got my first tick of progress on this now

I have a couple of these, one for my VPN login at work. One for my UK bank account.
They are fairly expensive scheme to implement and maintain, so i could only see it being an opt-in at an extra cost per month.
