Not quite the same.
The 'weapon' can be customised as its basically a costume piece, the visual FX for the power are all the same.
The targeting drone is a continous power FX, much like say a meleers armour is. -
So you have 11 consistent and 11 'broken'.
Im thinking the definition of broken is off.
Debt for example, this scales as you level. As a lowbie it takes quite a lot of dying to get that 1st one, and asssumign your are meant to earn them consistently as you level, there should be a non-linear interval.
Damage, inf and heal have similar logic, the amount of progress per hit/heal/mob defeat is non-linear as you level. -
Pretty much any AT, though the damage dealers generally come out ahead in time to completion.
Dont be afraid about grabbing and using a Shivan for the AV, and for sure use inspirations. -
Id be in for providing a lottery draw, both red and blue.
-
Of course, there are thematic ties.
The creation of the NPC shields gave the Devs room to create PC shield defence. -
Check the E-mail address associated with your account, there should be a message for you.
The normal process is that you submit a selection of 3 names to the GMs who make the chnage for you. -

Triumph is going downhill?
umm...no.
[/ QUOTE ]
Even though I only got to 2 out of the 5 raids of the Fusion Force Event, I still got over 1000 Vanguard merits from those.
If you got to all 5 you probably pushed 3000.
Triumph is plenty active -
You can ask the same of literally every single badge.
Why 50 Hellion bosses not 25 ?
Why 333 Cabal and not 250 ?
Every single badge has a number the majority of which are purely arbitrary.
Those that aren't are the series badegs where each member of that series has at least some limits set by the others in that series.
What is to be gained by dropping from 10 000 to 2500 ? -

And then who pays for it? Issues concerning real money can get quite prickly...especially if there are up to 150 members involved.

The person making the request, which basically would have to the the Super-leader -
Point in case. A few day ago, I logged on and listed a level 50 recharge rate IO, for a typical sale price, there was an unfulfilled bid for 2 million.
Buying the recipe from the table, and placing buy it NAO pricing on that IO would put the cost at maybe 900 000 inf.
The last 5 sales were all at the level
The next few instant sales were still to me silly priced, but by the time I had worked through the 10 I crafted it was down to a over the going rate but not unreasonable 500 000inf. -
My field crafters make a profit on thier way there, though most certainly not on every memorisation required.
The secret is to find a little niche that provides a steady income and keep using that at the same time as crafting those one where you just make cost back or the loss makers.
Pateintly bid in advance on both the recipes and salvage. -

The Bronze Class Recipe Roll is comprised of all Pool A uncommon recipes and all Pool A rare recipes.

Doesn't range cap out at about 40% ?
[/ QUOTE ]
60% (well 56% for 3 even 3 SO slotting)
My AOE ranges
Buckshot 62 feet
M30 125 feet
Flamethrower 62 feet
Full Auto 125 feet
Full Auto + M30 opener, then close in for the others is the way I do it. FA and M30 actually outrange my ST attacks.
20 degree cone is 35 feet wide at 100 feet, and 44 feet wide at 125 feet. -
[ QUOTE ]
You spend your time waiting for boost range just to get those long and short cones in AR matched up to something reasonable.

Slot for range, problem solved.
(on my 50 I have a lot of dam/range HOs, but you can slot ranges at any level) -
Case study:
One of my SG mates, stepped away from his keyboard in a hurry, due to an urgent situation.
if theres a bang/thump/other sound and my wife calls out, I'm not worring about logging out let me tell you
His 3 year old started banging away at keys and stuff. We see his global get renamed to gibberish akin to "riuweriuttutit" ask whats going on and funnily enough dont get a reply.
Thankfully, support was willing to correct the issue for him.
The process is about minimising the support time used up on these sorts of issues. -
Full Auto tags everyone in the cone from the very first
Rain of Arrows requires the mobs to still be there, which means tema-mates knockback, or mobs running can very much affect the damage out put.
To me they are the best two blaster tier 9s. They are BOTH excellent, but get to be used differently -
My AR/Dev or Archery/NRG depending upon my mood.
-
No you are just obviously hitting the 'per mission cap' and losing tickets which should award progress
Its working as designed. -
Oh one other anecdote from me.
We are in the midst of our 5th anniversary events, and as part of the 'Dead Fusioneers' event we had a couple of trials 'win' events.
The inf prize was 5 million, which they obviously couldn't accept, but we gave em as much as they c an take. -
And of course, keeping 5000 tickets earned through publishing missions, will grant that one to anyone on your account.
Wonka implied this was happening, but didn't outright state the means. -
There is a 'per mission' cap involved as well.
The highest is 1500, but smaller maps have a significantly lower cap.
I can assure you the 9999 limit is character based. -

this is pretty much my take on it, but empathy is the only powerset i would rather have on a controller than a defender.
[/ QUOTE ]
Its heresy in these parts, but I prefer /storm as a controller set myself.
I have also been much more enjoying a /FF troller than any of my FF defenders I tried.
Whith that lst in mind its funny that I prefer son/ to /son on a troller. -
There most certainly has been an influx. The publicty around the MA, and the ability to create user content, has been a draw for some.
My mains SG just picked up someone 6 days into the game, a RL friend of a member who was finally convinced to play beacsue of the possibilities of the MA for telling his custom stories. -
As you can see from my .sig I have played a wide variety of buff and debuffs.
My favorite defender from my stable is Mister Wales who is a rad/rad.
/rad is likely overkill for the secondary effect, but he was roleld before /sonic was around.
Rad to me is usefull in most situations, and brings a lot to the table.
My Kin is effective, but hard work and after running a TF or simialr I park her for quite a while, the constant click buffing wears.
I do like having the large stable of defenders to choose from, thats for sure as I can pick one accorind to the task in hand and my mood.
