The clues were slightly ambiguous, hence my guessing a trio did it. I also didn't expect that everyone's motivation was teenage angst.

I look forward to more arcs like this, but it would be cool if they were more solo-friendly. That would make it easier to go through the story slowly to keep track of clues and such.

If I'd realized we needed more aggro control, I'd have brought my Brute to beat on the yellows instead of my MM to hand out bubbles.

I think there was a lot of confusion on my team. We were almost entirely ranged damage, so I would have thought we'd be aiming for blues, but half the team thought we were going after the held greens and we didn't seem to have any clear leader on the team to make our call.

Yeah, that's what happens when you don't have enough leaders for all the Abyss virgins. Having them aim for held greens was the goal, but Yellow Mitos were torching the whole raid.

When we have an actual scheduled raid, we'll get it straight.

Yep! Frostworks is good for any of the taunting Brutes, especially the Alpha. Ice Blast powers are good for helping with Green and Blue Mitos.

The question is very silly, but i'll offer a suggestion:

Stop using random rolls with TFs or SFs. Merits allow us something the previous system did not: banking your successes. Take advantage of that. Maybe you aren't "getting lucky" as much as everyone else, but you can save up your merits for the high-dollar stuff. Then, you can either slot it or make big bucks on the market with it.

Make a /Rad Corruptor if you feel like playing one. We need more of them for villain raids.

First, thanks so much to everyone who showed on a moment's notice. We didn't succeed, but we learned some things:

1) Triumph isn't quite ready for Pick-Up Villain Raids. - I suspected this, but last night confirmed it. We really didn't have enough EOE inspirations to go around, and we didn't have enough team leaders present to direct the different roles of the raid. Live and learn.

2) Yellow Mitos have to be sufficiently aggroed. This is another one of those "things we knew going in", but it's worth repeating. We had a rookie Bravo taunt team who did a stellar job on a moment's notice. We just need to fine-tune it to make sure this role is covered. It tends to be one of the most annoying jobs in the raid, but it's what keeps the raid alive. Azile and I take the blame for this. We could've shifted leadership a bit to make sure this wasn't a problem. Again, it was a learning experience.

There's more to tell, but azile is going to work on a guide for raiding Hamidon on both sides. Once the guides are written, there will be a new strategy thread on the HKS boards. If you haven't registered there yet, please do.
