As far as roles, I mentioned to Shard last night that Catharctic's bio works into this idea quite nicely. This isn't his bio, but this is how I tie it in to our version of The Illuminati.
Henry Johnston is a genetic scientist that was gifted/cursed with his Ice powers during an Arachnos raid on his lab. He's fully taken on the mantle of responsibility of protecting Paragon and the world (with a noticeable aggression toward Arachnos). Keeping tabs on what's going on with a secret organization just makes sense for him. He would see it as an extension of his normal heroism and leadership. I've already hinted at it, but Hank's motives would be two-fold:
1) Protect Paragon and the world.
2) Monitor the Illuminati to make sure it doesn't get out of hand. -
I'm going to post something today some time. I've just been really busy this week. If I start typing it now, I'll be stuck at work longer this afternoon. :-p
-
I see Psyrene as more of the quiet one who has explosives wired to your face without you knowing it.
I'd put him on a list of people the Illuminati keeps close but is terrified of.
(Oh crap, and he angry faced at all of us. We're gonna....
*BEEEEEP BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!* -
PM me or hit me up on Skype about whatever you're scheming Shard. I've got some things I've been working on as well. We might be able to cross-promote.

Looks at name and goes all sad-facey. --> :-(
(Kidding. Everyone spells it incorrectly.)
Also --> Dawun
Add firi and Soto to the list. They seem ever-present yet they tend to lurk a lot.
Forgotten Guardian? Didn't he quit for WoW? -

Cool. I will check it out Betamax. I have been waiting to try a few builds out in team pvp.
No team as of yet.

We can team, dude. You need to get Skype so we can scheme. -
I should be able to make it this Friday.
To Firi: Got time to help me with a build? -
Gratz to Mag on his first redside fifty!
Gratz to Kay on her second!
Also, thanks to all who stuck through the LRSF. It wasn't the cleanest victory, but it was a good one! -

All I know is I have been waiting for 3 years to make WeeWee the Ice Troll and now that I will be able to properly color all his Ice powers yellow my dream can become a reality
Unless, of course, that is "not using power customization as intended"

I LOL'd. Multiple times. -

Still, regardless of how much interest any one individual may or may not have in this particular feature, it's something the community as a whole has been begging for at least as long as I can remember. Given the amount of work that probably had to be done just to get us a "simple" change of hue for the entire powerset, it makes me happy to see they were working on this.
[/ QUOTE ]
I agree with this sentiment. I just really want to see more content. TFs, raids, GMs, Events.
Whatever. Just more content. Scratch that. More content that is engaging and new. Again, especially for villains. -
I'm all for Power Customization. There's 2 things that I'm hoping against, though:
1) Issue 16 is ONLY Power Customization. - We really do need more content (Villains, holla!). More systems are cool, too...as long as those systems are part of the content, not a mini-game.
2) Broad customization. - If it's just a goofy hue slider that encompasses the entire powerset, I will be okay with it. A lot of people will gripe, though. If they are really improving character customization, then they need to take it all the way. We'll see.
I'm not normally one to be negative toward new things, but the announcements lately have had a tone of "Please don't leave us for those new games with fresh content. Pretty please."
I'm ready for an announcement that makes me say, "Whoa! Now THAT'S something new and exciting that will take me months to play!"
(Edit: Clarity) -
There's a channel for that.
It's called "The Condescending Few".
It's private so we don't have to worry about real moderators polluting it. Nearly everyone is a mod.
Send multiple tells to @Sun Splitter for an invite.
THe best way to get his attention is to spam "I love you" over and over. -

If I ask really stupid questions like "how do I type in chat" or "whats the best kind of salad dressing", will people still get mad like they used to?

2 of the ones we like to use now are:
- How do I shot web?
- What button is fly up?
With the second one, you'd be amazed how many people take you seriously in Help Chat. -

To all the Triumphant dads out there, here's a pre-emptive Happy Father's Day!
I hope it's a great day for you all! Keep up the good work! -
Gratz to the winners.
I hope my arc was playable (even though I wasn't told otherwise). It was broken for a little bit because the devs pulled a map that was important to the story.
