Just to put this out there...

I'm not pissed at PvPers. I like that people are so good that I leave shaking my head. That's kind of the point of PvP.

This event just wasn't really a good learning experience. It was a dying experience. That's fine, too. I've always been a sore loser, so I know I'm QQing in this thread. I apologize for that.

I really have no desire to see PvP turn into a random chance for any idiot to win. I just didn't have fun at this event because it was more for PvPers than entry-level people. Twiz acknowledged that, too.

Learning from failure is life. I get it. Learning from complete obliteration? Nah. Point me to a PvP-n00b event.

Sometimes 4-6 hours. Yes, really.

It's all-but-official. The Live build number matches the Test build number. Welcome to Issue 15!

EDIT: Servers now going into Unknown status. Looks like I'm not doing anything at work today.

They were PvE builds. Like I said, I knew going in I wasn't going to be TEH PWNZOR. It just sucked to get completely shut-out twice.

My Dark/Pain has a ST build with Hibernate, but it's not slotted yet. I really, REALLY wanted to be on that build, but it's useless currently.

The notice is supposed to be 7 days before the respec is granted. The respec is typically granted separately from the issue going live.

If Issue 15 goes live today, the respec will probably be granted Thursday or Friday.

1st time: Cold / Psy Defender (1st on the farm list in that match )

2nd time: Dark / Pain Corruptor (Survived more, but only because I was 2nd on the farm list )

Again, I wouldn't be the complainer on this one if I'd been on a team with a chance. We were 3 PvEers who faced 3 good PvPers. I've had fun (and a chance of doing something) at 1 PvP event so far. I was paired with Psy. We had a good time.

Getting PWNt ain't that bad. Getting horribly blanked twice is embarassing.

So I was going to login a character to respec him this morning, but the servers were taken down 2 hours earlier than normal.

Also, my updater is patching like crazy....

I came to have fun, and I was excited to try things out. I didn't come with an expectation of failure, but I wasn't expecting to be a major player either. Both matches weren't humbling. They were humiliating. Those are two different things.

PvP is still way too FOTM-friendly. Like all the PvPers have said, they didn't fix it with Issue 13. They raised the entry bar so high that players like me don't have a chance to do anything without being the pity spot on a team.

I don't even mind having said pity spot, but that didn't seem to be an option this time around.

I've reported multiple bugs with Ouro. Something happened to it with Issue 14.

Villainside, badge missions are no longer separated from their arcs in some places. On top of that, the contact will just give missions in random order, so sometimes you have to do all of their missions before getting to the badge one.

I sent bug reports and updated tickets, but support thought I was talking about a friend of mine named Timothy Raymond....

Another case of support not actually having GMs play the game they are supporting.

Nah, going to go win at something.

Sigh...

Waste of time for someone who'd actually like to get into PVP.
