I had this error before, but it was a long time ago. Head over to the technical issues forum before reinstalling it altogether. Those guys will know what the issue is. (It may be that you need to update your graphics driver. I really don't remember what I did to fix it long ago, though.)

I didn't feel that the summary explained to my satisfaction whether or not the animations themselves were customizable, and I thought I'd ask about it. I didn't realize I would anger people with my inquiry, I'll just go back into obscurity where I belong.
It's just that the entire point of Customization is to color your characters' powers. The reason Martial Arts and Super Strength are getting different animations is because those powers don't have much color to them at all, so they wouldn't benefit from color tinting like other powersets. -

My understanding is that some of the code which has been written has a side effect of locking out anyone who is not supposed to be authorized from getting to Server selection, much less character creation. Earlier, that code did not appear to be working, which is why folks were able to see the character creator.
The servers have been taken down (meaning, not even Beta testers can get to it at the moment) until this issue is fixed.
"We are trying to fix the side effect so that everyone can access Character Creation as usual."

It's also nice to see the sweet deal I got on mine. BestBuy wanted them off the shelves a while back for the sake of newer cards. I got mine for 119 right after Christmas 08.

From the looks of it, I'd say rutruh, but I'll let the more tech-savvy folks check it out. It looks like the +12 rating is very low (unless I'm reading incorrectly).
