I agree. Any time I've run a speed TF/SF, I tell people to kill as much as they want in each mission before the objectives are finished. Door-sitting because 1 or 2 people aren't in the group is weird since nearly every encounter in the game is balanced against a team of 6.
(Besides, running with almost any TCF member typically means you're running at a teamwork disadvantage. You know who you are!) -

Quote:I told someone yesterday that I now understand why it is so popular and has created so many memes. It's frickin addicting. No longer having any excuse not to, I downloaded Portal to play around with it a bit and see what it was like.
I beat the game and went to bed at around 4:30 this morning...
I've been working on the Least Time challenges. They can be infuriating. -

It's funny that people who've had trouble getting this badge didn't attempt it when it was easy mode.

(Aww good grief. Frickin Subject Typo.)
Just in case you haven't heard . . .
This was a Triumph!
I'm making a note here:
Huge Success! -

Since this thread has become a discussion of what has become of COH PvP and why it has / has not been fixed and how it was discussed, here's a link to the pages and pages of discussion concerning the Issue 13 changes.

You'll notice that the only dev responding to the questions in the thread goes silent eventually. Since that time, the only dev responses to anything PvP-related have basically been, "It's not a priority."
I was never a hardcore PvPer, but I've had a hard time defending anything the devs do as the silence continues. To quote, "Your silence is deafening." -

I'd prefer a more "grey" faction like Vanguard.

Probably not worth the hassle. Lead a Mothership raid or something.

I still don't know what this thread is actually about.

I recorded with FRAPS pro.

Good tip from Seethe:
Quote:Not that I particularly care about these raids, since I loathe them. I'm thinking that you could potentially bring them down if you focus multiple enervating fields on a green mito and super-buffing fortunatas and mind control dominators to hold spike spamming dominate while cycling through their highest single target damage attacks.
If you are truly coordinated, you could have the main mass leader call for Lingering Radiation (and heat loss, benumb, and any other goody available) as soon as the FF drops, thus not worrying about the obscene regen rates.
From the few Raids I have attended from time to time, I have yet to see tactical coordination of stacking debuffs. And, perhaps that's due to yellow sweeps being the most time intensive and the part requiring the most coordination for success.
Just a thought I'd offer up... -
Seethe's right on this one. If people focusing on Green Mitos would debuff more throughly, they wouldn't take as long to hold/kill.
