Note that you can also do that with any power or command which requires you to Target a spot.

So on my Traps/Beam defender I have :
    /bind SHIFT+LCLICK powexec_name "Seeker Drones"

which lets me hold shift and click in the middle of an enemy spawn to summon my pair of Drones smack-bang in the middle of the group (where they promptly* explode debuffing a large chunk of the spawn)

*"Promptly" may be a slight exaggeration

You mean something along the lines of all expansions being opened up and accessible, a tree of rewards which long term subscribers can pick from and which include new cossies, powers and other perks, a headstart on a server just for them and some extra free bonus points just for subscribing for the last few months?

    We can but dream...

I have no incentive to spend money on stuff that might be arbitrarily redacted at any moment, i.e. GR no longer = access to Incarnate content today - who knows what else tomorrow? [And despite the metric crapton of backpedaling I see here, back in the day if you didn't have GR = no Incarnate access.]

People with this mindset will end up costing the game money.

Silly me, I had this idea that my having maintained a VIP account for 6 years meant that my secondary account might get a perk or two along the way. Thank goodness I now know differently.
To gain Incarnate access you needed two things "back in the day" : GR Access and to pay a sub.

Now it's just "Pay a sub" as every VIP gets GR access (you can consider that a perk if you want, I guess. Or you can ***** about how that too is an outrage since you paid money for GR a year ago). So technically it's still true : To be an incarnate you need to pay a sub and have GR (but paying a sub now automatically grants you GR too)

Mind you I wouldn't object to Disintegrate being given a decent chance to cause it as well as it is the core mechanic to the set.

Edit: just found some patch notes on it while answering another thread. It's 20/39/52/100.

Hmmm. So in order to test my PROC spread theory I might be better off sticking the proc into Lancer or Charged shot instead to see if it has a chance of activating on Spread targets.
  7. It uses a pseudo-pet to do the damage, and I've no idea whether or not it uses the same one across the ATs? Certainly on my Ice/Thorns domi it does more damage than Fling Thorns or Thornburst and gets me into melee range.

I think it's fine personally, and if the damage is the same across the board it's really attractive to some Brutes, Tanks and other low base damage ATs (I'm planning to make a Fire/Time/Stone controller with it at some point maybe)

Lancing Shot? It makes this weird, out of place organ tone. Tis bizarre
  9. Great, thanks for all the info folks.

Still wondering if procs can interact with Disintegrate spread, if the Spreads damage is enhanced by the power triggering it, if its affect by Ranged Damage ios specifically .

Eviscerate has a jumping, spinning animation which looked hilariously silly when in Granite form in beta, so the combo was blocked.

I assumed Posi was being sarcastic when he said that, it's the old excuse Cryptic used to make when power customisation ever came up, and that happened eventually

I've always assumed it was a UI issue coupled with the need to individually deal with each power (combined with their legendary flightiness when it comes to finishing features off)

It's in the Email window now, under Account something (or is it Character something).

There's a Claim All button which I quite like but which irks others as it gives you those terrible Sprint powers

    30 days = 720 hours

Dividing the hours into the monthly $15 dollar subscription fee gets you just over .02 cents an hour, and since our devs are generous they'd most likely round it up to .03 cents an hour.

So the game would have to be offline for at least 83 hours just to be equivalent to 210 PP. That would be about three and a half straight days of server downtime.
You're weighting all hours equally? Really?

Your formula sucks and so do you!

  15. I'm really enjoying my Traps/Beam Defender. So much so that last night I switched to my main to buy a raft of Procs for her (a few Devestations, a pair of Achilles Heels, a Lockdown, some Damage procs for Trops and a Steadfast).

    I've a few questions though :

    In Traps :
Is it worth proccing Seeker Drones? I'm thinking of one of the Devestation : Chance for Holds as it'd mean 2 15 foot patches where the chance can occur, when the Seekers explode. Not sure on Damage Procs due to their recharge
Same question for Poison Trap, again I'm aiming to have a Lockdown in there, but are any of the other Chance for Damage Procs worthwhile any more? I assume here each proc has a chance to affect everyone in the PG every 10 seconds
Obviously I'm proccing out Acid Mortar with an Achilles, a Devestation and a Shield Breaker or something. What other procs do people use in Traps other than the ones I've mentioned.

    In Beam Rifle :
Is it worth trying to Buzzsaw out the Tier one blast? It's fairly quick to animate. I'll be putting a Dev in there anyway.
I'm putting an Achilles into Cutting Beam as well, is there any other powers in Beam which can take sneaky procs which are worthwhile?
Is the chance for Disintegration Spread standard across all single target powers?
With Disintegration Spread what actually happens here? It seems to spawn a PBAOE around the enemy which affects those close by with DoT and their own Disintegration effect. Is that DoT affected by damage enhancements from the power that caused it? If so can PROCs also "spread" from the causing power (ie if I hit an enemy with my Tier 1 which has the Devestation will those whom the Spread effects also have a chance to be held?)

Where's the best place for a Steadfast? Is my only option my APP/PPP shield?

Why on earth would you think auras are costume items. You'd have to be mad, I mean it's not like you access them via the Costume Creator or anything, is it now?

Anyone know if this is working as intended?

Yes, it is. If you've been a long-term player then when you go Premium the Controller & MM should be unlocked (I think it's 36 months?)

Just use It for everyone across the board, both as a pronoun and instead of their actual names. It lends a certain Jame Gumb aura to your persona as well. Win-win.

Just don't ask anyone if they want to come back to your place to try some dress-up.

  23. It depends what you mean by "best". Best damage melee primary is Fire. Elec and Ice have better melee ranged controls via their auras. My Fire/Rad/Stone was a melee beast.

In my continued efforts to find a Time I enjoy I'm going to try out a Fire/Time/Stone later with the Leaping Pool attacks (since I suspect Spring attack uses the same pseudopet across the board to do the damage).
  24. Carnifax_NA

    Fire/psi/fire

Oh, remember it uses a pseudopet, like the other TP attack powers, which means Forced Feedback chance for +Recharge is useless in it.

I believe it also means the damage is the same across all ATs, which is interesting. I'm getting tempted by a Fire/Time/Stone controller-who-thinks-he's-a-domi with Jump Kick and Spring Attack. If that is true (that the damage is the same across the board) it makes it very tempting indeed for Brutes. They might have created multiple versions though to allow for this.

I keep saying it. Spontaneous Double XP event. It'd also help futher beta test these server upgrades by attracting more load while it's on.
