    Thanks for the welcome people!

Finally . . . . you people have people who hang around atlas charging people for a SB?

Weird isn't it, to be able to get PuGs on demand like the old days rather than via Globals or relying on a Friends list?

    * I'm on Virtue red-side and the difference between the EU and US is incredible. I can actually play team orientated characters rather than soloists who occasionally team. No way I'm paying NCSoft twice to play both EU and US sides though, ridiculous that we have to. My EU side will be dormant until something changes.

The problem I have with it is that it takes 3 seconds to cast and all of its effects have a delay of 2.6 or 2.7 seconds before they affect the target. Frequently mobs will have enough time after you start casting to shoot or even run up and slug you before it takes effect. Other similar area stun powers (Flashfire from Fire Control) don't have this delay
Wormhole doesn't need Line of Sight though, Flashfire and Stalagmites do.*

I'd be in favour of upping the AOE to 20, and increasing the range you can cast it from but I love the non-LOS aspect of it.

Dimension Shift should be refactored into a short duration Intangiblilty and a long duration stun though IMO.

Yes. I love IEs highly advanced file download system. It's much better than those other browsers with their new-fangled dedicated windows for downloading. Why would I want to resume a stopped download? That's just crazy-talk. A crap pop-up window was good enough in the 20th century, it's good enough for the 21st damn it!!

I bet once the issue is fixed we'll be back to idiot Grave Knights spamming their silly blasts again.

It'd be great if it could be fixed for some pets and left this way for Zombies and knights though (along with whatever else likes melee, Bruisers and the tier 1 & 2 ninjas I suppose).

There was already an opportunity to do this when it was given Energize and given to Tanks and Scrappers and they didn't do it. I think they have another pseudo-cottage rule about not swapping about live mid to high level powers for some reason because the same sort of thing occured when Super Reflexes went to Brutes with the AOE Defense toggle.

It's a good idea but one seemingly falling foul of an internal rule of theirs.

    The BEST Brute

Stone Melee/Fire is a nice combo because Stone is the most mitigating primary and Fire armor can use the help. I found mine very powerful but I didn't like the look of the stone attacks so I never play her anymore. I suspect Stone/Dark would be pretty wicked as well though I never actually did one.
Just on this, it's an interesting combo but currently a flawed one IMO. I found that the way Fury and Burn played together (or rather didn't after 2 seconds) meant it never lived up to it's potential on paper. It does have the potential for ridiculous spike damage however and it can really screw up a boss very, very quickly.

The End costs in the teens are horrific as well. Worst performing character for End in the teens I've ever had (and all his attacks were slotted for Acc and End alone).

A more stable version would be Stone/Elec I think (eventually, waiting until 28 and 35 to get your End Recovery powers would also be ouchie).

If Burn was redesigned to work better with Fury (say by front-loading the damage of it more) it'd help out Stone/Fire a lot.*

Of the three Brutes I've played my Dark/WP was the most unkillable and my Claws/Elec was the best in terms of AOE Damage and quickly generating Fury. My Stone/Fire had real trouble maintaining Fury given his slow recharging, heavy End cost attacks and his "knockdown and mez to stay alive" style of play. But he is an amazing Boss Killer.
  7. For the love of [deity of choice] please make it smaller and less clunky. I'm running at 1200x720 and the damn thing is still too big to fit nicely onto the screen (and I run at the smallest window size possible)

I'm amazing this design was given a green light, it's horrific.

Of course Opera > Chrome (IMO)

Agreed. I always just pick a good spot and do it in the middle of combat. Cannae be bothered calling everyone to gather together. If someone is standing way behind and doesn't get the auras then they probably don't need em anyway.

I Fort as I go too according to whomever doesn't currently have it and I think benefits from all its aspects best, which is rarely the Tank unless they're struggling to survive. AOE Blasters and Scrappers usually, or buffing Defenders like FF, Cold, Sonics or other Empaths.

    Scaleable Hair?

This suggestion is more of a 'Would this be feasible?' than an out-and-out 'This needs to be implemented right now! And damn the extra time required to do it!' one.

Is it possible to add a scale adjuster to hair?

So, for example, Beverley Thrills could be made longer or shorter. Or the Fat Pigtails could be made fatter or thinner (including the bulk of hair that's not tied into a pigtail).

The reason I'm asking is down to a conversation I had several months ago with a friend on a global channel about wanting a Beehive hairstyle. Several existing hairstyles could, if a scale adjuster were present, be made to look like a beehive.

I'm not sure it's possible easily, if you "fatten" hair horizonally then the sides are going to come out away from the head and leave a gap, if you stretch it vertically a gap will open up between forehead and hairline.

Find someone with a bad toupee and pull it horizonally from both sides and you'll see what I mean. Without "anchor points" which stick to the head I can't how it'd work well.

The added bonus for Chrome (besides speed) is that it displays the last pages visited on a "home page" in a grid pattern, ready to satisfy your regular clicking needs in a hurry.

I'm very impressed with Chrome. It's my second choice as Browser nowadays.

Opera is, as always, my first choice (Fastest Browser on Earth!). It uses a similiar Grid system (where do you think Chrome got the idea from ) but they are Favourite Pages rather than History based ones.

  17. My Necro/Dark generally had his 6 basic pets, a spirit and Fluffy out at all times (except for the first 20 seconds of a mission before I sacrificed a zombie, and frequently had 2 spirits out for brief periods of time with Hasten and Soul Extraction maxed for recharge.

Spirits are Henchmen rather than pets, you can order them about and they add to Bodyguard mode. I think any other "extra" a MM can summon is a pet (Fluffy, Traps summons, Gang War, the lil Fire Imps pooped out by Hell on Earth targets). Fluffy and some of the Traps show up in your Pets window. Nothing else does afaik (maybe Temps).

    Where's the Mage part?

We're probably also running into some definition issues. "Tankmage" is usually used to show something is broken and unbalanced, with nothing to challenge it at all... part of me would quibble if a Hibernate cycle or bubble equates to Tankmagery, as you were challenged by something enough that you needed to "hide" for a bit. To my mind, a Tankmage flattens opposition and receives none in return.
^ This. If any AT in the game counted as a true TankMage then the devs have failed.

So in answer to the OP : Nope.

The full version of NetObjects Fusion is $200, but they have a basic "essentials" free version that you can download from here.

There are plenty of other free html editors around, and some free wysiwyg packages. Not all of them are great, but worth a look if you want to make sure you don't waste your money. I guess this is as good a place as any to start.

    Good luck!
If you're a beginner and don't know HTML then I'd say a wysiwyg package is what you want Damz. I've always crafted by hand personally using Notepad ++ and Jedit but you need to know the mark-up language to do that well.*

Seamonkey looks interesting, I'd start there probably (I haven't tried it myself but might have a gander).

What exactly are you trying to write? There are lots of authoring / blogging style applications / templates out there as well which also might do the job.

You also might do better asking in General rather than the EU boards, some experts mightn't see it here.

Only bit of software I know of offhand is Dream Weaver (again the software, not the forumite) from Adobe. Could be pricey though (Adobe usually is).

With high fury it pushes impressive numbers when added up (80 per tick at level 6 wasn't bad at all). It's just that everyone keeps telling me that WP is a better secondary.

I kind of get the impression they're just parroting what they've read on the forum though. I mean people in-game, not the people on here who recommend it. Most people here actually give informed responses! Sure, WP may be one of the best, if not THE best secondary, but I think that's generally for the purpose of soloing and end-game farming. I'm not making claws to solo, or to end game farm. I'm just making it to have fun!

My Claws/Elec Brute was a lot more fun than my Claws/WP scrapper. Dunno if it was a better concept for the Brute, Fury making things interesting or WP just being a tad dull I found Claws/Elec a much more interesting combo.
