Nope. Given that you could copy 4 or 5 copies of the same toon across, respec them all to remove choice IOs and then give them to one of the copies fairly easily being able to copy them back to the live server would be a silly thing to allow.

Only thing you can do is open a Petition Ticket and ask a GM to undelete the toon for you. If you're US side they may do it for you (not if your an EU player though).

Less I think. Corrupters get the Controller version which does about 10% less.

The defender version is also slightly better in it's End Draining abilities

Consistancy is a great thing really

Nope, Fireball has a recharge of 32 seconds, and a much quicker animation time. For a quick recharging build (which any Fire/Kin will be, even without IOs) Fireball will do more damage over time.

But Fissure rocks (ahem). The stun can stack with Flashfire. The knockdown isn't that handy since you'll probably be caging things on a Fire/Kin for more Damage and Containment & to stop things wandering about.

Tornado has the advantage of a bigger AOE. Psi also has the upcoming advantage of another aura in World of Confusion which could be nice on a Fire controller.
  4. Class! I love the concept of the Railway Dash Damz. Very clever idea for a competition. Bit of old skool platform jumping.

    These days?

Pah, I remember when you had 3 lives and when they were done that was it, game over man. Game over. Not to mention we didn't have any of these fancy-pants Save Games or Spawning Points. If you wanted to finish a game you did it there and then, start to finish (or left the speccy on overnight and hoped the stupid thing didn't crash or the transformer melt).

Don't forget Fortunas, they get exactly the same Confuse powers as a Mind.
  7. Robots in CoH tend to resist Lethal damage and be more vunerable to smashing.
  8. How about Ice? I always like having an Ice Tank on my team.

Ice/Stone sounds interesting, you'd have lots of Control available to keep things stunned and on their arses. Or Ice/Dark, could be a bit of a monster in terms of being able to take damage.

There's an excellent list of all the Villains Dark Servant at Red Tomax. They all have normal accuracy.

Never knew Chill of the Night was an auto power either, I thought it was a toggle. That makes it even better in terms of summoning Fluffy in the middle of a spawn to take the alpha.

Since when did fiery embrace only last for 20 seconds?! I guess it's only 30 seconds for dominators. Still, it has the same % uptime as buildup.
On Brutes it gives a 30 second boost as well. Just seems to be Blue Side it gives the 20 seconds.

Build-Up only gives an 80% boost for Tanks. Fiery gives 100% for Fire damage (but 80% for non-Fiery). So for Fire Damage it does work out marginally better than Build Up on average.

    I16 Dos n Don'ts

I think I'll be trying an Ice/Earth Domi actually. Was thinking of another Brute but there'll be tonnes of Claws / Elec running around and I'm loving Stone Melee at the mo so thinking of one of these.

Probably on the US servers though. Soloing a Domi 95% of the time Euro side doesn't sound like much fun.

There appear to be two damage scale/recharge ratios when it comes to melee PBAoEs. There is the 1 DS, 14 second version that most of them are fairly close to, and then the 1.42 DS, 20 second version of Foot Stomp, Fire Sword Circle, and Frozen Aura. In each of their categories, Foot Stomp and Tremor are the only ones with 15 ft radius.

When I compared them, really what I was saying is that it isn't the damage, it's that radius. Fire Sword Circle and Frozen Aura are both as damaging as Foot Stomp (Fire is greater, actually, because of the DoT) but nobody ever mentions them. Partly because of the smaller radius, mainly because of Rage.
Tremor is a level 32 power though, Whirling Hands you get at level 8. Energy gets Energy Transfer at 32 which does unholy damage...

Most Brutes guides I've read actually or things I've read here don't really like Tremor at all (personally I do think it's pretty damn good).

Whirling Hands could certainly do with a boost though, average damage, slow animation time and crap AOE. It could do with increasing the damage to Footstomp levels.

See? It is all about the booze! I knew it!!

Guinness is nice but it has unfortunate side effects on the digestive system... Great in a stew though!

As for Jamey it's the king of whiskey as far as I'm concerned. Love the stuff. But I'm forbidden to drink much of it due to, erm, excessive stroppyness.

Dear gods yes. Soloing in the Rogue Islands is getting mighty old.

Plus the lag is generally better from here to the US compared to our craptastic EU servers.
  15. It's really annoying that the Lich won't take Fear Sets. A Fear/Range & Acc/Fear would be so useful to him.

Interesting. Not for the Set Bonuses, more for the damage PROC. It *should* just attempt to PROC on Tentacles but I wonder if it's working properly or if it would go off for things like the -ToHit auras too. (my biggest disappointment with the -ToHit sets when they came out was the lack of a damage PROC).

But I was using on an Illusion/TA, where Phantom Army would certainly mess up any sleep.)
Yep, PGA is only really worth getting for the -Damage really, and with Seeds that's a minus rather than a plus. I respecced PGA in the 40s on my Grav/TA as a way of helping with staying alive (or helping Singy stay alive) against Elite Bosses. A 66% chance of a 11 second sleep is too unreliable against spawns (especially on a team).

One thing I've been considering is slotting it with the Call of the Sandman : Chance to Heal PROC though, sure it's a small self-heal but if you're using PGA on every spawn it might be useful as a side effect.

-ToHit/Recharges and -ToHit/Rech/Ends from Dark Watchers Despair & Dampened Spirits should pretty much do that for you. Then 1 or 2 accuracy and, if you've the space, a heal. This was my pre pet recharge nerf slotting but it works out well now too since you need to get DS perma and maximise his -ToHit.

I'm assuming Dark Servant wasn't changed to take Accurate ToHit Debuff IOs?

HOs are great in Necro pets, especially the Lich. I've gone 2x Dam/Mez, 1x Acc/Mez, 1x Acc/Dam, 1x Tohit Debuff/End and the Smashing proc from the KB set.

Lich, imo, is not there to do damage. He is there to debuff and control. I'd recommend slotting to complement this.
Wow, HOs really are nice in there. Not sure about the KB proc though, won't that only trigger with Torrent? I'd personally go with more -ToHit, he can fairly rack it up with those cones of his (Fearsome Stare and Tentacles).

I think at the moment in the mid 40s my Lich has mostly -ToHit & 2 -ToHit/Recharge (the recharge dates from before Castles nerfs to pet recharge ), an Acc IO and a Fear IO or two.

    Electron Haze

There isn't that much point slotting the normal damage procs though. On average at 50 they do about 14 damage (20% chance of 70ish). But at 50 it does 48 damage anyway so an SO will net you 16 damage, for far cheaper.

The Forced Feedback PROC & Achilles Heel in there would be nice. Along with maybe a purple proc, but wouldn't the purple be better in Irradiate because it is easier to hit more people with it. Haze is a pretty thin cone so you don't tend to hit many with it.

Edit : Oh, the knockback is also only a 25%. Won't that have an impact on the Forced Feedback triggering (will FF only get a chance to PROC if the knockback actually occurs?)

From Dark the Snipe & Torrent (the knockback) for sure. Dark Pit I'd put in the "maybe" pile. It's not the best but not the worst. It's slot hungry and because of your AT modifiers it doesn't last that long. Certainly it can be put off until SOs, before that the low duration and low accuracy make it very underwhelming. If, later in your 30s, you can get some Acc/Stun/Recharge IOs into it it can be pretty effective.

From Cold probably Frostworks and Snowstorm are the most likely. Both are Ok but probably less useful than anything else in Cold. Neither is what I'd call bad though, just less good than the others

Edit : Oh, and just to be annoying I'd try and fit Soul Drain and Power Boost from GWs pool in if you possibly can. Soul Drain is a great boost to damage (and you can Stun them with Darkest Pit and then trigger it safely) and Power Boost would be nice on a Cold, it'll increase the effectiveness of any shields you apply in the 15 seconds it lasts by 80% (of base), so you could make 2-3 people on your team very, very hard to hit for 4 minutes using it. It'll also increase the Stun from Dark Pit, the heal from Life Drain and the -ToHit on all your Dark powers (good with Tentacles for example).
  22. Getting the Performance Shifter "Chance for End" PROC could help. It's probably the easiest quick solution I can think of. Last one I bought was 12 million altogether I think, including Salvage & Crafting costs, but it's probably gone up lots since then. Made a decent difference to my Fire/Rad controller and my Warshade.

After that obviously +Recovery sets. Not sure at all what ones would suit you best though.

If I didn't care about my secondary I wouldn't have made this thread in the first place since I'm asking about a secondary power.

How many times am I going to have to say it?
Freezing Rain is the best power in Storm, hands down. Of course you can play Storm without it if you really, really want to. But I wouldn't, without it Storm is a bit lacking (especially since Fire & Hurricane don't play well together). And if you're also skipping Snow Storm you'll have even less to do in combat.
  25. I'm pretty sure that it's poor word choice / the author not being able to read the feature list properly.

Far as I know only Scrappers are getting a new Pool and only sets missing a 5th power are getting a new power.

Of course I hope I'm wrong. But I'm pretty sure the i16 feature list doesn't mention any new pools for anyone except scrappers (who are just getting a copy of the Tanks one from what I can tell).
