Storm I reckon sounds the most fun.
A bunch of confused enemies being beaten up by creepers (and each other) whilest also being stuck in a blizzard of snow and freezing rain... what's not to like -
Isn't 31% of base damage basically another SO in every power?

I think of the 3 available blast sets, it is pretty clear that Ice is the most defendory, so defenders are sure to get Cold Domination, not Thermal, this time round.
As for thermal, I don't think it would be as powerful as kinetics or rad on a controller.

I agree. But then I don't think Controllers should have Kin or Rad as Secondaries either (or Dark, obviously), but its too late to fix that. All they can do is avoid adding to the mess -

Whilst You are most probably correct about Cold Domination (i'm pretty certain that will be the one defenders get too), what is your basis for suggesting Thermal would be overpowered? I've not played the set, but it seems to combine elements of Empathy, Sonic and Kinetics, all of which are available to Controllers.

Not all in one package though.
Just looking at Thermal and it's a superb support set combining decent shields, a demezz, a nice buff, healing and two debuffs which look perfect vs AVs (Heat Exhaustion for the -regen and Melt Armour for the AOE -resist).
It'd be nice for Defenders though, especially if they got the Fire secondary too (imagine the chaos, a "healorz" set combined with the most aggro grabbing blast set going)

I reckon it'll be ported as-is. Certainly if they make the changes listed here I'll be most cross. Seeds, Carrions & Audrey are the reasons to be a plant! -
Yep, it'd just be too powerful. A Dark set with controller AT modifiers would so so powerful (the mezzes in Fearsome Stare, Howling Twilight and Petrifying Gaze). Plus an extra pet who heals!
Imagine it with Illusion (Fearsome Stare & Spectral Terror) or Fire (Imps plus a mini-dark defender pet healing them and debuffing their enemies)

Yep, Plant/Storm sounds totally amazing. If I hadn't got a */Storm controller already thats what I'd certainly be doing.
I don't think Controllers will get Traps as a secondary, Thermal and maybe cold are my bets. I reckon Defenders may get Traps though. -

Ice/TA is even nastier, 4 slowing powers in Net, Ice, Glue and Oil Slick. Plus all of ices horrible ones.
Net, Ice and Glue arrows also debuff Recharge as well (and Net and Ice stack with Ices Immob and Hold).
Gravs Holds and Immobs secondary affect is also -Run Speed (Slow without the -recharge) and Singy will spam them too. -

Depends on what you're missing and how you play the toon really. My Fire/Rad went Earth as he tends to be in melee range and Fissure really suits his playstyle. The Earth armour is decent in PvE for defenses and the HP boost power will help him survive on teams (I'm always "Mr Fallie Down" on teams due to the fact I'm in close).
On the other hand my Grav/TA went with Fire for ranged fiery AOE goodness as I tend to be at range all the time (plus it ignites my Oil Slick, but you've got lots of powers for that). The Fire shields I don't really need but they're Ok. Consume is great for me as I skipped Stamina altogether (he's got a few IO set bonuses to boost recovery).
My Illusion/Storm went with Ice as Hibernate is a great way to avoid death and rest in combat as my many pets keep fighting on for me. Ice Storm is a bit too slow on teams to really be worth it, great for prolonged fights and in Rikti raids though. Ice bolt is a nice quick attack which completes my Single Target attack chain.
So if you tend to hang around outside of combat lobbing attacks in whilest your imps maul enemies, and Endurance is still an issue occasionally I'd go Fire (although Fireball is great at point blank range too)
If you like to get right in there, need good defenses, an AOE power that adds a decent bit of control (and have the cash for the Forced Feedback PROC) and need a self-heal I'd go Earth.
If you have all the AOE damage you need but would like more powerful controls and the ability to go easier on your End go Power for Powerboost and Conserve Power. A powerboosted EMP Arrow is Game Over for most spawns (they're going to be held for a long, long time). -

It has about a 6 second(approx) suppression so it won't roll the dice for a hit in those 6 seconds.
It will roll after the 6 seconds is up so if you have 2 +recharge procs both will fire after those 6 secs
It is being resisted by any powers that give recharge resistance.(quickness is 1).

In both cases (and for all other pets as far as I know) it boosts their attack speed. LS fires *really* fast...
In Rocky's case, it's quite noticeable - especially when he's in Hammer mode. The 'quirk' with this proc encouraging pets to rush into melle is hardly a problem in his case, either!

I'm not so sure on this 90% chance bug thats being reported. I always see an icon when I hit but I was pretty sure that was the "I'm rolling to see if your PROC goes off" icon, not the actual "PROC succeeded +Recharge" icon.
It looks like a Howling Twilight icon I think, but only shows if "Show inherent powers" is switched on.
That said I've never managed to spot the "+Recharge" icon either so I've been a bit confused with it over the last few days -
I'd be up for this if the time and day suits (evenings are best for me). I can start the Malta arc with Carni to get a Kronos ready to spawn as well.

Yep, I don't think Choking Cloud works well with Grav, but everything else will. The ability to Wormhole things into a closed corner and then slap the anchors & Lingering Radiation on them for example means you'd have em nicely clustered, mezzed and debuffed and begging to be AOE'd.
Plus if you skip Choking Cloud you have 4-5 extra slots to play with which is a bonus. -
One thing, with a Fire/Rad I find Earth epic more fun. Mostly for the Fissure with Forced Feedback proc, the DPS is still fairly decent but you can slot the +recharge PROC into it. You can also 5 slot it with Posi's for the +recharge set bonus too.
Also Sucker Punches builder is a bit buggy with IOs. For example your Choking Cloud shows DMG in there which is wrong.
I'd be interested to see your Enhancement %s as well, Some powers seem to have been slotted more for the overall Set bonus rather than their actual %s.
For example Choking Cloud is going to suck End on you. Flashfire has no Stuns in there at all. Cinders is under slotted. Your Imps seem to have less than 95% damage bonus, Fire Cages is slotted to get a set bonus rather than do its job (personally I'd slot it with Acc/Ends and whatever damage PROCs it can get).
For a farming build I'm not sure you need all those set bonuses, what are you trying to achieve? Perma AM or something? -
Fissure is the way to go with one of these alright, Gale is a good option too.
On the US Boards I notice they say Hurricane too but I'm not sure how it works, if its ticks once every 10 seconds hurricane is on or checks to PROC once every 10 seconds against every enemy being affected by Hurricane. -

Choking Cloud takes a while to kick in, even then it won't hit everyone. Plus it needs 6 slots.
On my Fire/Rad its great because everything is Flashfire-stunned and Fire Caged. I can run in happily and wait the 6-12 seconds or so for Choking Cloud to take effect without incurring the wrath of everyone (Choklng is a super little aggro magnet). Choice bosses are Air Supped & Fissured onto their backs and held.
On a Grav I'm not sure you really have that constant opener to give you the breathing space while choking kicks in (the AOE hold isn't really up enough and Wormholes AOE is small). -

I'm not sure of the usefulness of Choking Cloud on a Grav at all, Grav tends to be ranged and choking cloud requires you to be in melee range. -

Either way I'll take Dimension Shift once they fix the Oil Slick pets bug, I'll be able to drop Teleport. At the moment I need it to heel stupid panicky Singy when he freaks out because I've set the area around him on fire.
Wouldn't hold my breath though (although you could if you liked)
